Absolutely. Obviously CC has all but retired, but not having Belle there to even represent Tate felt odd. Honestly, even all this Xander/Sarah and Brady/Theresa/Alex stuff feels weird without Chloe. She could have easily been part of both stories-instead she just abruptly left with Phillip mid-story lol.

I suppose. It's just a crappy way to treat an obviously loyal employee, but she's not the only one who got this treatment. I can't stand MM's Belle, but she's another one that is clearly loyal and never used properly. Gabi/CM is someone I can take or leave because I don't actually think she leaves a hole in the show, but Belle and Shawn not being around is noticeable.

Got it. I think I remember hearing some of those RM rumors. Hope all is well. For some reason I like the actor that plays Dex better than Chase (clearly not enough to look up his name, but...). I do tend to think Dex looks too much like Michael and his characterization is awful like you said, but I think he has more appeal than JS as Chase. I think Dex/Joss as a couple has just sucked the life out of him. He just follows Joss around and does silly missions for Sonny that often involve costumes. That being said if Dex disappeared I wouldn't cry or anything lol.

I didn't say I like Dex/Joss, but WL and EM have no romantic chemistry at all lol. In some ways I actually think Dex has some potential to do something interesting though. I sort of like the actor. Thanks everyone for the responses about RM. I really was under the impression she was ill, but it was temporary. I find Heather to be exhausting in general, so I guess AM is fine. I just think RM played Heather cooler and a bit more quietly unhinged.

I like Cam so much, but Eden and the actor that plays Dex have so much more romantic chemistry than WL and EM ever did. Oh well, Cam deserves better anyway. I know a lot of people like AM's take on Heather, but I find it so over the top. Is RM not ever coming back? I thought Alley Mills was more of a temporary solution, but it feels permanent.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martha Madison sued. She allegedly seemed to be one of the worst affected by Alarr. Anyhow, I don't think there is any evidence Annalynne McCord is a recast anyone lol. JS may not be the best actress, but I think she does a good job as Sloan-no need to recast. And I doubt the show would recast Nicole at this point. I don't think it would be very good optics to replace AZ with an actress several years younger than her while she's suing lol.

Well, it's still on Missy. She didn't have lawyers, advisors, or agents to advise her against making moves towards another soap? At the end of the day Corday was right to sue. It put Days in a hell of a bind. They had to emergency recast, scrap spinoff plans, and move on with no notice because Missy had an affair. Her creepy husband aside, MR was an adult and screwed up. If she wanted to save her family that's absolutely fine, but she's still lucky they ever invited her back. Unfortunately, nothing I have seen has made me think she's a good person and I don't even like CM as Jen but at least she's a reliable, seemingly nice human who will show up when she needs to.

Okay, for discussion sake, Missy was legally bound by her contract on Days at the time. She left before it finished. That's 100% a reason to sue by law lol. And her seeking out other daytime contracts while still under a Days contract is ridiculous. Her personal problems mean nothing in a business transaction. She is expected to fulfill the terms she agreed to.

Elizabeth already confessed to the cops and the hospital about helping Nik with the kidnapping. Everyone already knows. Liz got immunity because she told the cops the whole story and I would assume to testify against Nik if he was caught and she had a disciplinary hearing at the hospital.

So at this point I am guessing the main reason to bring Jagger back is because he still hates Sonny a lot lol? He barely even acknowledged he knew Anna (which he really doesn't), but it was glossed over. Also, I think Jagger is a pretty bitchin nickname if you ask me and I would personal keep for ever. It just sounds cool.

I think I probably wasn't that clear lol. But I don't think she has anything to do with L&B in the current day. It sure did seem like a chem test and those lines from Olivia about Lois always needed Sonny's approval or to be closer to Sonny (I'm paraphrasing) set off some alarm bells in my head too!

GH: February 2024 Discussion Thread
Like I was saying my understanding is L&B still exists but Lois gave up on it years ago when Brenda bought it from her in 1998? and it's just been around with different owners since then. She manages bands now which seems more lucrative and easier with the changing demands of the industry. It also makes sense since that's where she started. Clearly she's not super busy if she has months she can just hang out in Port Charles though lol.

I could be wrong, but L&B has changed hands so many times that I know Lois hasn't owned it this whole time herself. I am pretty sure she manages bands. They made a Ricky Martin joke, I swear, in 2023. So she still manages Miguel Morez at least. Wiki tells me ELQ owns L&B currently. Also, THIS! When Olivia said Lois wanted Sonny's approval the other day I was like.....what? That's now how Lois and Sonny's friendship worked at all.
