I'm only the age Samantha the teenager is... I'm only 30. ❤️🤣- BTG: July 2025 Discussion Thread
Did you just call me old? I'm old enough that I can play a teenager in this show! 😋- Y&R: July 2025 Discussion Thread
You are a legit legend. 😂❤️- BTG: July 2025 Discussion Thread
Listen, your comment just inspired me to give my thoughts on these issues. That's why I specified that maybe... I'm looking at different nuances. I didn't say that believable equals realistic. I didn't claim you did either. But I did make a connection between the two. And I'll translate it like this - when I perceive something to be unrealistic, sometimes it becomes not-belieavable anymore. That's my perception and it's not gonna change. And I don't even think we disagree. I wouldn't use that word. I would say... I have a different take. I see different nuances than you. And that's the beauty of communication.- Show how are you feeling right now as a GIF or YT clip

That's the only aspect of this that I don't get. They (CBS) should have at least did some promo for this so people know. "You missed it the first time... ? Now it's your change to see the hottest new show from the start." Or something cliche like that. On a quick trailer. If people don't know what is happening and are confused that's just lazy of CBS.- BTG: July 2025 Discussion Thread
BTG to me feels very modern, at times even reality TV-like. That's my personal opinion. Some scenes are "Housewives Franchise" material. You almost expect Kenya Moore to walk in and reveal how someone got pregnant by someone else a decade ago and she has the receipts to prove it. I personally see no strong resemblance to the 1970s soaps I've watched on YouTube and other platforms. Maybe I'm just looking at different nuances. I also have a different take on the believability of things. A lot of stuff on this show is not realistic. And that's something I can live with. Soaps have seized to be realistic long time ago and some may argue that they never were. For example, we have a male gay couple acting like a basic straight couple. Both guys look to be in their early thirties... but have incredibly old children. How strange does this sound? Old children. But yeah, Samantha looks like she is the same age as Smitty. It doesn't help that they dress her and style her hair like she is this young infantile girl who asks her father "what's gay sex like?" More on the believability of the two hot guys in a relationship - me and my husband are also two married dudes and we don't act like this. We also know many, I mean maaaany other gay couples like us from all walks of life... and... none resemble the strange almost heteronormative relationship we see in this show. I don't mean this as a dig, I know and appreciate what the show is trying to do. It's giving us some kind of representation. I'm grateful for that. And the unnatural vibe is not on purpose, I don't think so. I don't know what the cure to it is... maybe they need to loosen up in the dialogue and evolve the physicality into something more believable in the future. Of course, I always leave the possibility that maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there are guys like this. There are a lot of things that I like about BTG, don't get me wrong. I like the cast, I like the atmosphere and the overall themes - love and betrayal, secrets and scandals, family and foes. I like the sensitive feminine style of storytelling, especially in the first couple of weeks... and I adore most of the ladies in the show - give me a scene with Anita or Nicole... And I'm a happy fella. I have issues with the overall quality of dialogue and the lack of consistency episode to episode. Too much empty culminations and a lot of filler between them. I have issues with the editing, lack of coherent background music, especially when bad actors are on screen and lack of proper cliffhangers. I can stomach one or two character-caricatures... but I have an issue with one very empty character that sucks airtime, named Saint Ashley. But, overall... when comparing it to the piece of sh-t that is Bold... for example... BTG is million times better. And I'll continue watching. In the end of the day... It's just entertainment. I can't expect it to save the world or fix global warming. I'm fine with it. I don't even feel like criticizing that much anymore because I'm starting to get the show will be more superficial than I expected and I'm okay with it. It's still very enjoyable and the potential to grow is as strong as ever.- ARTICLE: ‘Beyond The Gates’ Returns With All-New Episodes Beginning Monday, July 7 – EXCLUSIVE
I plan to ask a tv psychic tonight and if she tells me... I'll spill the tea. Jokes aside... This may be one of the great mysteries of our time. 😂- What Are You Listening To?

Imagine if Bill Bell knew that 40 years later, the character of Brooke will be in the exact starting position she was in 1987 - in "love" with Ridge, but still not able to sustain a lasting relationship with him. All of these years, all of these marriages, all of these pregnancies and scandals later, Brooke is back to her early 20s phase. Bradley Bell has denied her any growth, he has stripped her from anything that is not defined by Ridge. If you close your eyes a little, you may even believe she's the young Brooke from day 1. But she isn't. She isn't smart anymore, she isn't cunning, she lacks ambition and she is predictable. She lets people like Steffy railroad her and she lets Ridge walk over her. She wants a man who calls her daughter a whore and a bitch. It's Brooke, yes, but without any of the character traits that made her attractive and interesting. The traits which... even through Bradley's bad writing, could save the show many times. Gone are the twist and turns of the histrionics, gone are the sexcapades, gone is the determination to win over her adversaries, gone is the creativity in finding new paths for her career, gone is even the girlish humor that made her cute. The only thing left is her romantic-obsessive trait. But that has turned from exciting to pathetic. Because, sweetheart, it's 40 years later and the world has moved on. You are going to die an old bitter woman still clutching your lingerie, still begging Ridge to - "Pick me!". In this current state of the character, she is either incredibly stupid or a mentally ill woman that needs psychiatric help. I pick version 1, because it's obvious Bradley thinks this is normal. The next thing we'll see is Nick making moves on Brooke and Ridge turning away from Taylor. In a year Brooke and Ridge will be married or together again and the only conflict will be Steffy thinking that Brooke is a slut. THAT'S ALL. ddddd.mp4- B&B: June 2025 Discussion Thread

Up to April 28th, 1992. 🐦 "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" So what is going on right now? 🔷 In the search for the Hesser killer we had a new twist that flipped the script on Asa Buchanan. Bitter and scorned, Renee decided it's time to confide in the district attorney and tell him that she lied and gave her husband a fake alibi. Asa was apprehended, but quickly released due to his connections with the mayor. Talk about corruption. Then we had Renee revisiting all the warning signs that she somehow tried to ignore - the little details that made it so apparent that Blair and Asa were getting closer. Renee did what Renee does best - in a gesture of contempt she gave Blair the keys to her house. Told her - he's yours. Take him. 🔷 Dorian's search for the missing pieces of her childhood led her to the hospital where her sister Agatha presumably died as a child. Strangely, the records didn't show anyone named Agatha Cramer passing away from pneumonia. No, they only had one patient with that name and that patient didn't suffer from a respiratory disease, but from paranoid schizophrenia and was transferred to a specialized sanatorium. Following up on that information, Dorian entered the mental institution only to see the sad ruins of people's psyches and the horrific atmosphere that her sister was a part of. In one more stunning twist, she learned that Agatha Cramer was indeed a patient in the hospital, but... passed away in child birth... years and years ago. Dorian broke down in tears. 🔷 Tina did the most stupid thing possible - she slept with Cain Rogan. I really don't know what to say except that Cord has been dead only a few months and she's already sleeping with other men. To me, that's disappointing. Not only this, but Tina has chosen to associate with an incredibly dangerous man that could put her entire family in jeopardy. She is not listening to Viki or anyone who tells her otherwise. Cord was suppressive and controlling, yes, but I didn't realize Tina was THAT stupid and naive. 🔷 Cassie finally had the chance to turn the tables on Alex. She went into to question her about the murder of Carlo. Far from the crying girl that got terrorized on her wedding, this time Cassie was the aggressor and it was a nice change of dynamics. Alex did gloat when she talked about how Bo left her for Sarah, though. And she finished the meeting with something like - It's not even Sarah, YOU are not enough to satisfy a man like Bo and I always knew that. Touche! 🔷 Victoria tried to help bring Renee and Asa together by staging some sort of intervention meeting with the entire family. While organizing it, she overheard Leanne talking to someone on the phone (it sounded very intimate). Mother lion was instantly alerted. Leanne Demerest is the most shockingly ungrateful creature I've seen on the show. Her constant chip on the shoulder make her suspect that everyone thinks of her as "less than". Victoria has tried to make her comfortable in million and 1 ways, but Leanne choses only to see the negative. I get that she feels guilt and is purposely self-sabotaging... but still, lying to an 18 year old boy that you are carrying his child, because you got DUMPED by your lover... is next level tramp behavior. 🔷 Just after asking Renee for forgiveness and practically begging her to NOT divorce him, just mere minutes after... Asa was trying to get into bed with Blair! She put the brakes on the kissing and making out... because she wanted something in return before going further. She wanted Asa to buy the shares of "The Banner" while the stocks were DOWN and low... and she wanted more than 51 percent - a controlling interest. Asa agreed, because he wanted the making out to continue. The old goat gave in to Blair's sex-appeal and took the bait. So... it looks like Blair may soon be the owner of "The Intruder". She promised that she'll give him MORE after that. If this is not high-level escort behavior, tell me what it is. Blair is such a bad, bad girl and I LOVE HER. Not a boring second! 🔷 We have a new male presence in town - Andrew's father - Sloan Carpenter who instantly clicked with Victoria. I couldn't help but wonder if Saint Viki will not slip up and do something that may put her dreamy marriage in jeopardy. She is too morally correct all the time and that is quite boring for a soap opera. Sloan impressed me in his first scenes. He is definitely making a mark on the show. And I can't lie about it - he and Victoria do have chemistry on screen. So I'm really interested where this may lead. Sloan strikes me as this incredibly multi-faceted man, he has a controlling and menacing presence. It will be a shift from the good-guy Clint who only serves to hug Victoria from time to time and give his son Kevin advice. Clint pretty much always does what Victoria wants... and this new person Sloan may be a different kind of man. We'll see. Maybe I'm seeing too much and there will be nothing. 🔷 Overall - 10 out of 10! Clip of the day - Renee gives Blair the keys to her house and her man. "It all began so innocently" - it always does, Renee, it always does. fff_edit.mp4- BTG: June 2025 Discussion Thread
😂 God I want some cute mid 30s psychiatrist with abs to dive into Dani's alcoholism and self-destructive behavior and tell her that it's probably suppressed jealousy towards her mother and inferiority complex. I mean... your mother is an EGOT winner and you yourself are an ex-medium-level model. Dani is like these celebrity children that lack the parent's talent and the only thing they are good at... is breakdowns and attention seeking through messy divorces and tabloid scandals. Thank God Anita has Nicole. LOOOL.- B&B: June 2025 Spoilers
Every character in this show is basically unhinged at this point. LOL.- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Tina has been confusing me for some time now. When I started watching the show she was a bored wife being oppressed by her husband and using these bizarre Luna magic stuff to emancipate herself. What we are getting after Cord's death is a complete opposite - this crazy rebel romantic girl that doesn't seem to have kids anymore. She used to constantly be seen with her kids and now they have basically seized to exist. Maybe it's her way of coping or mourning, who knows... but it's a waaaaaaaaaaaay different vibe. Maybe that's what Tina was before Cord and they are just re-setting her. I have no idea.- Show how are you feeling right now as a GIF or YT clip

LOL, I stopped thinking about this days ago. Life moves on. So will BTG. At least people who have never seen crazy Dani will have the pleasure of witnessing her in her prime week in the show. 5 episodes of verbal and physical abuse. I may even re-watch them. 😂- What Are You Listening To?

Another scene I wanted to clip. Victoria confronts Blair about her alleged dealings with Asa. "You do damage to other people... but you're always the injured party." - Y&R: July 2025 Discussion Thread
