I need to buy a matching silver outfit to watch the premiere in! This is going to be EPIC. I am soooo psyched! I've watched the promo probably for 2 hours combined.... 🤣

Tonight we managed to see 2 episodes. We hadn't watched for quite some time, because of my husband's schedule and his early falling asleep. December 13th and December 14th 1988. Let's get to work, shall we! First we had the aftermath of that horrible gallery fiasco. Amanda... waking up alone with the gigolo Evan lurking in the background. Sam, in a similar position... alone and in distress about what happened last night. The situation as he later put it... is this - they stole his chance of ever knowing if people truly appreciate his talent or not. Rachel had something else to say and I'm thankful she was not saying just Sorry and being regretful. Her point of view made a lot of sense - she just gave him the chance, the platform to showcase his talent... and that everything else that follows... is his own achievement. Sam was not buying it at all. Amanda reacted as horrible as I expected, blaming her mother... Oh, Rachel, Rachel... your children are so spoiled. If I had a mother like Rachel, I would treasure her and not nit-pick everything she does. But that's just my opinion. I am pro-Rachel in the situation. We also had a surprisingly human moment, a touching scene involving Cass and Caroline-the-flirt... who finally revealed her background and motivations in life. It was about time! She told Cass the story of her life and upbringing. How money and becoming rich changed her father... how her mother got sick. How he father's gambling got out of control. We also found out that Caroline, as superficial and predictable as she appeared till now, was actually trying to collect money to help her mother. Sadly... she did not get the chance to help her. She passed away. Life is so unexpected sometimes. In the end of the day... sadly for her, all the men, that she surrounds herself with... disappeared, first Cass and then Evan who came in to support her for couple of minutes... and she was left all alone. All alone with her sorrow, loss and pain. Powerful moment. On to the next episode. Here comes Iris again. I missed my little fox. Rachel came in the office... guns blazing... and warned her not to reveal what happened at the gallery to Mac. Do you really think she can be trusted, Rachel? Saying to Iris - don't do it... is like saying DO IT in Iris-language. The little fox was smirking all the way. We know she IS going to use that to her advantage. 🦊 The preparation for the ball is in full force... we had Iris and Donna visit Sharlene... With Iris being disgusted by the smell of manure and Donna even more absurd and out of place. Mean girls at their worst. Sharlene tolerated them more than I would. A wicked moment arose when Michael arrived and Iris told in cypher that there was a man she wanted to be with...😈 but that would have been too scandalous to say. Meaw. I think Donna was not aware of what Iris meant... and that made the scene that much more tasty. It was soap opera at it's finest. We also had Josie being gaslit by her friend from school into singing once again for the boys at a Christmas party. Of course they are going to make her wear skimpy clothes... so Josie is slowly walking towards a dangerous path. All in the goal of having more money to buy herself a dress and a gift for Mathew. Sometimes good intentions lead us to scary paths. Be careful Josie... skimpy outfits is always only the beginning! We also had Lisa arraigning to meet a man from the dating service... AND Amanda and Evan working on the article about the service. Something smells rotten here. We will see what happens. Overall... Favorite moment. Iris leaving in a coded way. dddd.mp4

Showed the promo to my husband. He said he can't wait. 2 days after I hit 30... BTG is going to be the biggest birthday present for me. ❤️ A dream come true.

Why am I watching this in repeat now for minutes at a time... I went into a glitch watching this intro. 🤣 I would be okay with a modern take on it.

And count me in a group... where maybe I will be alone... but I love how Tamara Tunie looks in the silver outfit. Yes, she looks a bit eccentric. But these types of high society women always do. She looks like someone you shall not be f=cking with. And hearing her voice... gave me goosebumps.

No. I do not think you understand me. You say that people should tolerate negative opinions. Now, please apply your advice and accept my different opinion on something I read here in the board. I do not need people to act like school teachers and tell me when I should speak or not. If you do not like our reactions to different comments, you are free to put me or anyone else on ignore. Repeating that we should let others have different, negative opinions... also proves that there is nothing wrong to react to them. I mean, we are human beings after all. It will be so boring, if we all just stood silent and sweetly tolerant when we read something we did not agree with. I react. Because I want to. Have not broken any rule. I continue to think the promo is superb. It does what it should do. It grabs you attention. Gives you memorable shots and dramatic moments that will make people want to check out what it is. The only thing I am not completely in love with is the intro style... but I will have to see it in full to say what I think.

I'm sorry, but weren't you the person that wanted the show to look like "Fashion House"... 😂some long forgotten primetime soap... which... from what I remember was incredibly trashy and cheap looking. Thank God... from these 20 seconds... BTG looks NOTHING like it. THANK GOD. So... you liked the style of "Fashion House" on one hand, but just from this 20 second promo... you think BTG almost looks like a parody? I mean... we are 20 seconds in... and already... some people are spewing words like "trashy" and "parody". Jesus Christ Almighty.

What do the people who are disappointed... expected to see in this promo?! It literally is couple of shots and just hints and teases and atmosphere, vibe. Nothing more. I'm quite perplexed how these 20 seconds can create such a feeling of it being a "parody" or "trashy". Did we all watch the same 20-30 seconds... ? This is not enough to make such statements in my opinion. I'm not saying you HAVE TO LIKE IT... but saying that it looks like a soap parody... is a stretch.

I think it's only natural... so... Bradley, sweetheart - if you are reading - don't think twice about it anymore - do it! We all want it. And... I mean... do we think it was just an accident that they had Finn shirtless with Brooke couple of weeks ago... with her checking him out for a second. 😈 In a way it will bring back KKL to the level of acting she was used to playing against for decades (Ronn Moss). 🤣

We need to have a place for failed... attempted slaps hahahaha

I want Brooke with either someone completely new - she deserves it... to be honest... or some brutal sex scandal like Finn. I could care less if she reunites with Bill. It's done to literal death on the show. Brill had a chance to work years ago when it was still fresh, but Bradley ruined that too.
