  1. YES. YES. YES. I came in to write this, but you already did. The 3-4 months leading up to Brooke's takeover and the month or two that followed it... are my ultimate soap opera favorite masterpiece. There are so many great moments. Just a few examples. There are many more.
  2. My boss sent me an AI generated "live" music performance of some fake grandpa singing this pathetic AI song and she refuses to believe when I tell her it's AI. And it's obvious to me. I guess not to her. What world are we starting to live in for God's sake. If people believe this sh-t is real... Then this is just horrifying.

  5. God we need this level of promo back. 🤣🤣🤣 YouCut_20250903_151916164.mp4
  6. Thank you guys for the recent uploads in the vault! Appreciated.
  7. I'm so tired from work, you can't even imagine. It's like 24/7 the past few days. I need a break. I'm close to burnout. My eyes hurt from the monitor screen. I want a weekend off to some resort!
  8. I'm just seeing this! Thank you @YRfan23 and @jcar03 again and again! P.S Brooke nearly died and she is in 7 episodes the entire month. So bizarre. Is KKL going to be slowly doing less and less till we don't even see her anymore. This makes me sad.
  9. I stumbled upon a new episode yesterday and for a moment I thought I was watching an old stream from years ago. It is THAT repetitive, I swear I've seen all of this before.
  10. We do have our share of wannabe-mods who think they are some kind of authority... but the poster in question (IMO) is not one of them. She is just being her usual polite self.
  11. Sadly, I've come to the same conclusion. I never saw this particular side of her, even though... frankly... through the years... she has given a bizarre interview or two. The signs were there, I probably just didn't want to believe it.
  12. I sacrificed part of my sanity to watch the newest Hunter Tylo podcast... so I can update you guys. I'll try to be brief. I one sentence - It was the same stuff she said in the last few ones, at this point it's talking in circles and repeating what she already said in the previous podcasts. 🐍 In more words. - She seems to have a distorted view of what soap operas are supposed to be... What I get from her long monologues is that she wants these shows to be good examples for behavior, morality and spirituality, to have the characters do good things (I am interested how anyone would define this), she is very sensitive to anything that may be too antagonistic or perceived as immoral and etc. She believes that these shows affect people on this very profound level and can influence their every-day life. So she thinks we have to be more responsible and not show bad examples. Well... okay, I assume there is an audience for a show full of good hearts and souls that do nothing wrong... but I don't know if it's enough to sustain a soap opera. Maybe... I could see her vibe fitting in... is children's stories show or some kind of spiritual themed stuff. I don't know. But dramatic soap operas, especially in 2025... will completely die... if someone cleans all the mess and the immoral stuff. Who wants to watch "Let us teach you how to be a good Samaritan"-type of stories? Who the hell needs this? Again... I'm not saying that there are not people who like these types of stuff, but life is FULL of immoral situations, full of scandals and problems and people cheating, lying, being drunk, killing each-other and etc. You can't escape this, you can't just hide from it. I also believe that these shows are entertainment and we can't expect them to be life lessons or examples... On the other hand... I agree with her... that the boring love triangles are too much and too stupid, but I also don't want to be preached by these Holier than thou characters... and I think that's what we would have gotten if it was up to her. That brings me to another point that I'm getting is that... she has said many times now that she had problems with this in the script or that... and she called Bradley for this monologue or for that scene and the examples are just too much. I'm sorry, I was an actor too... and if anyone from my colleagues started trying to control the writing or had problems with it all the time... it will just be impossible to work. Don't get me wrong - I don't think that anyone would be OK with Brad's writing and she probably was RIGHT and I would agree with her... but if you just ignore the fact that it's Bradley Bell... then you get an impossible situation. Nobody wants to work with people like this, that's the cold harsh reality of the business. No producer, head writer wants a soap actress constantly unhappy with her material and wanting to change it. They would just fire them. It's sad, yes... and probably she could have even elevated the quality of the writing if they allowed it... but in the end of the day... she is not the writer. That's it. Bold doesn't need Hunter Tylo correcting the writing or... anyone else. BOLD NEEDS A NEW WRITER. PERIOD. Not an actress. A WRITER. 🐍 Some other interesting bits was her telling stories about crazy fans and people who can't tell the difference between her and the character of Taylor. One time a lady approached her and told her something like - You need to go, hurry up, because Brooke is at Ridge's door at this moment and she's trying to seduce him. LOL. Or something like that. I enjoy hearing stories like these, because it reminds me how crazy the fan community can be at times and what kind of delusional people are watching the shows sometimes. Thank God they are a minority... but I've met people like this and it's a whole another level of crazy. Sadly they frequent forums too. P.S I'm starting to wonder what Hunter wants at this point. These podcasts are very repetitive. I wonder what this will lead to. Will she be starting her own channel-podcast soon... or something... We'll see.
  13. I wish that too.. if only we would hear one of these days that that man retired...
  14. Today this error comes up way too much. Not the usual 2-3 times a day.
  15. This sounds like the best case scenario. I can live with that. I hope these pauses are benign situation that will be resolved come next season.
  16. I agree on every point. The potential of momentum-killing of a brand new show, the first soap in decades... makes me apprehensive when I hear they are going to be doing the encore again. What are they going to rerun this time? The first encore was tolerated, mostly because of the fact that it was the premiere week. That could draw people in automatically, since it's something they can start from scratch. Now... we are heading for part two of the experiment and I wonder if they have a strategy of which episodes to choose. If it's not the premiere week... it won't be that striking and attention-grabbing. But they can't continue repeating that week all year long, so it's out of the question. Why do I care so much about this? - I care, not only because I want Gates to succeed and thrive... but I want the genre to survive and maybe even get a new show in the future. That's why the commercial success of the first new soap opera in such a long time... is kind of important to me. It's my last hope of my favorite genre living on and opening the door to new soaps. (Something I believe is possible if BTG is a success in the future.) I'm not panicking yet... quite the contrary, but if I see these encores start to ruin the momentum and lead to lower ratings in the following weeks after them... then I'll be reacting differently. Right now... I'm just watching it carefully.
  17. At least they should announce these freaking reruns in a more public way this time. Don't make people get the surprise on Monday again...
  18. Don't like the outfit... but my God... her face card still puts people half her age to shame. Love her. Thank you @dragonflies ❤️
  19. It lost 500 thousand... or like one third. That to me is HUGE. And when a show loses momentum like that... and people start forgetting where they were and what was going on... or when the new episodes are coming back... people tune out. And I haven't said you think it's good idea. I'm saying I don't think it is. If they want they could continue repeating the first week till it's 100 000 left new ones who haven't watched it... but it's bizarre and counter-productive IMO.
  20. https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/69198-article-soap-opera-ratings-report-for-the-week-of-june-30-july-4-2025/#comment-2039094 The show was almost half a million viewers down in total viewership during the week of reruns. If you call that fairly well... ok... but in my opinion it was not a good idea.
