I'm not suprised frankly about the criticism of Smiley, that entire vortex of Smiley and Cornell West has proven toxic. Smiley, as I've mentioned in the past, sees himself as a 'shoulda been, coulda been' political rival to President Obama. That obviously never worked out and he has tried out various political stances through the broadcast TV medium ever since. Honestly, I'm still reading but I also side-eye some of these Opinion Editorials. One most remember that it is an Opinion piece. While some Op-Eds are thoroughly researched and contain accurate statistics, others are used as a means to 'hash out' agendas, perceived slights and other feelings. I'm just going to put this out there- I'm also skeptical of the Observer in their judgement of PBS, since we all know what the Conservative attitude is toward PBS and make no mistake-- the Observer (aka NY Observer) has a definite Right-Wing bias.

There's a subtweet in this thread that strikes me as very sad. And in the last few weeks, I think there's been about 25-30 tornadoes happening primarily in red states. Has he spoken about this at all? I've been reading about the Wikileaks CIA hacking dump and in one article a cyber expert thinks that it is more likely that a "foreign power", not a conscience-stricken CIA employee sent the documents to Wikileaks. This makes it even more urgent that a full independent investigation of Russian hacking be done.

LOL, I had to stop and rewind several times to figure out who that even was. That's not sexy, it just looks awkward af! I didn't care for Holden or his mullet in those early days, although I could see why Marland went with Holden and Lily-TBH though, it seemed like the show should have ended Holden and Lily when Holden lost his memory as every other storyline after that seemed stretched thin. Too bad there are relatively few Gregg Marx and HBS starred episodes posted on You Tube. There are some key episodes missing.

Now they own Congress but they don't want to take responsibility or be made accountable for the mess and constant scandals that erupt almost daily but they are whores for votes, so they still want to sell this illusion of a superior conservative health care plan. Serena has withdrawn from Indian Wells. I am told that Kerber will get the #1 ranking. Even if she loses in the 1st round though? Someone mentioned this morning that Serena's name was on the list for court assignments for practice sessions but missed two consecutive scheduled sessions but I am loathe to jump to conclusions but I had a feeling.
