I'm glad there is a break from Leslie. She can be a bit much at times. lol. I do miss Eva though. She's become my favorite. AW was my show so I'm loving the Rachel/Steve/Alice comparisons, but that was before my time watching the show. I like Smitty and Jacob mixing it up. The show seems to do well with this instead of keeping the cast isolated in their own stories only. I don't know what to think of Vanessa. I've gone from loving her to disliking her to liking her again. I guess that's good on the writers to give her so many layers. Ted needs to do more to woo Nicole back. Flowers? Cliche.

How does a reporter get private bank records? I'm confused. Too convenient for the story he's working on. Does he have a "crooked" bank friend supplying him info? lol

Am I the only one getting annoyed with both Chelsea and Kat lately? Their spoiled, entitled attitudes are draining. Loving the Jacob/Naomi scenes and their playfulness lately. Team Smitty all the way. I hope he blows the whole secret/police department out of the water. I just hope nothing happens to him before he can. He needs to be one of the show's antagonists against the Duprees. June's nails. lol. Can't say I would have noticed, but I bet it's done on purpose (as MVJ would say. lol). Interesting character trait if she's homeless yet still wants to stay "fashionable". What in her past makes her feel that way? Was she part of the "Articulettes" in the spotlight? (playing on theories). Tomas and Kat are boring. Where's Eva? They need to amp up this triangle as I think it could be a focal point for the show.

Yeah, I understand the show has been preempted a lot lately. Just seems typical trying to watch this show. lol. If there is a murder mystery, I have no faith in Griffith to make it enjoyable.

The only thing about this Luna story I could enjoy is that she goes after Hayes and Liam jumps in to defend him. In the process, Liam takes out Luna just as she fires her gun and strikes Liam. They both die. In a week both characters are completely forgotten and Brad has moved on to his next "Whacko of the Week".

so the last couple of weeks they've hyped up this party on "Friday, the 13th" and today...Friday, the 13th, they haven't even left town yet? This show...

I'm assuming Martin ended up somewhere in "the bad part of town" driving his expensive car and was jumped. Haven't the flashbacks hinted at someone saying things about will his money/expensive car help him now? Or something. I have a feeling he was getting beaten to a pulp and fought back killing one of his attackers. Then Vernon helped cover up the death. Now Martin as a politician is against hate and violence so it would ruin his career if it turned out he killed someone in a violent way. Let alone his rich family cover it up. Just theories. I was not expecting Dani/Andre to be outed that way. It was funny, but I was hoping for a much bigger "reveal" in front of lots of people.

I agree the show skips over a few scenes that should have been done, but I'll take this pacing over Y&R and B&B any day with their three episode long conversations. Darn it! Couldn't Iran have waited another 30 minutes!!??? #Newsbreak

Before the engagement party, (old) Ted and Nicole offered to put Eva through school when Laura came back. Once she was done Ted mentioned she might have a spot at his practice, I think. Something like that. Tomas has definitely improved his acting since the show's inception. Agreed with all the comments about Carleton being a regular. He was great on NuDynasty. He'd be a great mix with Nicole. Martin's assistant, Zak, was great, too!. At first I thought he might be there to make Smitty jealous. Still could be. hint hint. Hayley is ridiculous at times. lol.

I haven't really watched Days since its move to Peacock, but I always enjoyed him on the show before that. I hope this ends up being a great move for him, but it's Y&R and Griffith so I'm skeptical. He'll be the flash-in-the-pan for a couple of months and the show will move on. Assuming he's Cane, saddling him with a past character won't help.

I guess we're supposed to assume Chelsea has all the followers because she was a "famous high fashion model". Plus, being the daughter of Dani Dupree is supposed to make her known worldwide? Dani getting Nicole to throw the cup was hilarious and typical of Dani. Don't face the real problem. Do something else.

So Jacob just immediately stops searching after he finds the helmet? Wouldn't he do a thorough search in case there were more items that suddenly showed up? Yup, Chelsea is still annoying but at least Kat is onto something else this episode. I do hope they figure out what to do with Shanice. I enjoy her scenes but she's definitely forced as the PT instructor. What if she were the daughter of the cop "on the take" with Joey? Pull her in BTG. Shanice could have grown up seeing her father's ways and wanted to do good for people instead.

Not really a watcher of GH, though I have occasionally in the past and distant past! (Frisco and Felicia were my jam in their infancy). I'm happy for the show and the genre. The better numbers GH can pull off, the longer 5 shows stay in the soap canon. I am disappointed BTG's total viewers is so much lower than GH and the others. The show is far better than Y&R and B&B.

Every. Damn. Day. B&B and Y&R have become nauseating on a daily basis. Nothing ever happens. Nothing. These shows take no chances any more. This is why they continue to lose viewers. At least BTG is moving. May not be the way viewers want sometimes, but it's moving forward. Plus, they've had some great "cliffhanger" moments.

I was hoping Dani/Andre would get caught in the most awkward way possible. lol. Shanice is now a PT. Umm...okay. Glad they are keeping her in the mix. Anita going to Chicago. Is this a way to have TT offscreen for some reason?

I don't blame her for wanting steady work. I just wish actors when they leave shows/soaps they don't act like it would be such a "death" sentence if they had to come back. Soaps are steady/respectable work and until its own actors start treating it that way then the general public won't.

For someone that supposedly is into true crime podcasts, she knows absolutely nothing about preserving evidence. lol

I'd like to see Madison have a connection to "stalker guy" with motivation against the Duprees. Edit: Okay. Still an interesting twist. Will this be how Bill finds out about Chelsea's love life?

I was thinking the same thing. Finally! Bill's health story moving along, too. Tomas is much more interesting with Eva and he comes off a lot more natural with her. Kat needs some consequences for all her "Sleuthing". Then again, Leslie needs some consequences for her actions too. Maybe put them in a cell together overnight. That could be hilarious. lol

this was a great episode. Leslie with Jacob was lol as were the scenes with Jacob/Kat. I like that Eva is vulnerable at times. Makes it easier to like her. The writers need to do this with Dani more. (and Leslie). The Anita scenes were also well done. Big credit to the writers today!

About the only thing that could really get me interested in this show right now would be a "Who Killed Victor?" storyline IF he stayed dead. The writing for him is atrocious! And the lineup of possible suspects would be most of the canvas. Months worth of great story if done well.....of course...not getting done with Griffith.

I am encouraged by BTG's demo numbers. I probably sound like a broken record, but I'd love to see the streaming numbers for all 3 CBS soaps. Might be wishful thinking, but I see a lot of posts on my socials on the weekends of people catching up on the show. BTG having the best W 18-49 numbers on Thursday is amazing. Yes, it's one day. It proves there's the potential though for it to do even better than Y&R and B&B. CBS has to be happy.

I hope they don't mess up Naomi and Jacob this early. The show needs one stable couple (Ashley/Derek don't count) without secrets and lies between them. At least for a while. Maybe down the line the show can explore Kat and Jacob. Right now, she seems way too immature for him.
