  1. Reading all this makes me realize just how much of Katharine and Jill Bill Bell re-used when he created Stephanie and Brooke on B&B.
  2. I know most people mainly praise Bill Bell for his achievements with Y&R, but I would like to put forward his work on B&B as well. I know it's hard to believe now when the show has become such a travesty, but during it's first years when Bill Bell was HW it was much different and so much better. Characters like Stephanie and Brooke were vastly different and much more complex compared to the caricatures they later became under Brad Bell, the battle over BeLief remains the best story ever on B&B, early Sheila was a fantastic villain, and he also created the one-and-only Sally Spectra. Even after he handed over the reigns to Brad I'm sure he still provided input for a few years, which is why the show didn't veer of the rails too much until somewhat later when Brad was on his own.
  3. Didn't he also play Eduardo Grimaldi on ATWT in the mid-90s?
  4. Yes, I actually guessed that, even though you distorted his name almost beyond recognition, and changed his gender. As far as I know Constance is a female name. His name is Constantine Maroulis. If you're not sure about someone's name it's quite easy to find out nowadays. I'm not saying everyone has to be immaculate at spelling, but at least try! It's a bit disrespectful when you change someone's name that much.
  5. "The Nanny" did the same with B&B. Once C.C. refused to take an emergency call from Fran because the last time it had been about taping The Bold and the Beautiful, to which Fran responded that it was an emergency since Storm was about to marry Stephanie, and that she was his mother..... It's quite odd that they did these errors with those particular shows since actors from both shows appeared on "The Nanny", and Fran's nemesis, Heather Biblow (Pamela Anderson-Lee) even got a role on Y&R during one episode.
  6. Whoa, look at the hair on the women! Huge! And that's some serious cleavage on Joanna Johnson! Poor Carrie Mitchum however looks uncomfortable in her dress.
  7. Yes, that's her. This was in the middle of 1997. I think KKL had her baby in May.
  8. A similar thing happened on B&B back in 1997, during the story of a troubled Rick shooting Grant Chambers. Katherine Kelly Lang went on maternity leave and the role of Brooke was temporarily recast with Sandra Ferguson. Unfortunately this coincided with the revelation that Rick was the shooter, and the absence of KKL as Brooke made the whole thing fall a bit flat. Sandra Ferguson just wasn't Brooke.
  9. I didn't think he would have the patience to sit through "West Side Story"
  10. This song is so much better without Justin Bieber.....
  11. Both yes and no I'd say. True, he's not a great actor or even a good one, and sometimes he was really bad, but most of the time his limited capability worked for what the role required of him. And over the years he became Ridge Forrester, and I have never really gotten used to Thorsten Kaye in the role. The role of Ridge never really called for a great actor either. He was just the trophy that the more dynamic women around him fought over.
  12. No she didn't in my opinion. You're certainly free to think so of course, but if it bothers you why don't you just watch some Santa Barbara videos instead and find some comfort in Marcy Walker's long hair?
  13. I don't think he is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Álvaro_Soler But he's cute....
  14. If I remember correctly Mike was angry at Brooke for betraying (in his mind) Sheila.
  15. That only makes it worse.
  16. It should be illegal to have that haircut at the very least.....
  17. It was great finally getting to see even a little of that storyline. I have to agree with you, this storyline is soap opera gold. As much as I love Stephanie, the scene right before Brooke takes 51% of Forrester, when she looks Stephanie dead in the eyes and tells her 'I've finally beaten you' goes down as one of the most satisfying moments I've seen on any show, period. Stephanie's reaction to Sheila's appointment as Brooke's liaison was the icing on the cake.
