  1. The people who replied are some of the most clear-minded people you'll find on here. I don't think anyone really believes we'll be seeing this material, one way or another. Any random episode or clip from earlier years that shows up is a miracle.
  2. Sadly, when it comes to soap, dismissive is what you always get. Considering this is the paper that ran a puff piece on Hitler, I guess we got off lucky.
  3. JFP seemed to give Maggie the same treatment she gave many heroines - once the decision to make her mostly just exist for an FOJ hunk went down like a lead balloon with fans, she just threw the character away and moved on (with Sofia essentially taking Maggie's place on the canvas while Maggie became a bitch). I remember Eddie Drueding tearing into the Nick/Maggie/Tomas "triangle." Great stuff.
  4. Thanks @RavenWhitney @vetsoapfan I was also wondering about Anita Gillette... @Faulkner That was a nice obit.
  5. Unfortunately I think similar to the Catholic Church exodus, those who are left are more and more extreme and take over various levers of power, with plenty of help from the media that profits from their rise. Even now, you have lunatics out there marching with full tactical gear and just being casually referred to as "Trump supporters."
  6. Is this Gillian Spencer?
  7. All too typical. I still wonder if she will even bother to run again. I see the dead end leftists and grifters like Matt Taibbi are feverishly trying to make this about the evils of the Espionage Act and comparing him to their heroes Assange and Snowden. Never mind that Trump pointedly chose not to pardon either of those men, in spite of the usual suspects literally begging him to do so. Nothing Trump does will shake his support. There is no floor. It's not surprising, but it's why there is so little hope left.

  9. Thanks for sharing this. I know Miss Peach was very well-loved by that era of fans.

  18. An August 1987 Evening Magazine episode. At around 34 minutes there's a segment on the upcoming season of Falcon Crest. They interview various cast, including the expected tiptoeing around Jane Wyman's diva ways as well as a great deal of talk about sexing the show up and on relying so heavily on guest stars - essentially saying that viewers watch to see old faces popping in rather than the rest. Lorenzo Lamas even sings The Love Boat theme just to make the point clear. The funniest part for me is probably Lauren Hutton saying flat out she was happy to take the job because of an impending strike and she knew she could just get in and out as fast as she could. https://archive.org/details/WJZ-EVMAG-132-003 @Soapsuds @Joseph @soapfan770 @Paul Raven @I Am A Swede @te. @victoria foxton @Vee @kalbir @Chris B @Chris 2 @FrenchBug82
  19. Not sure if this was already around or not, but early in this video there's an interview with Lizbeth Mackay, complete with a number of clips (talked over most of the time, and with irritating organ music). They also have nurses asking her fan questions, and show her briefly watching an episode of the show from home with a reporter. This is in good quality. @victoria foxton @Paul Raven @vetsoapfan@SFK @danfling@j swift @slick jones@Vee https://archive.org/details/WJZ-PMMAG-007-001
