I'll be happy to see Sharon again, and I think the pieces are there for a good comeback. I'm wary due to Kat's poor return and due to the hatred so many having for Kirkwood blinding them to anything good on the show. Hopefully Sharon's return will be a success. I know this is a long time coming.

I think Paul Raven said he was part of a story about tainted face cream. That was around 1990.

I think so. Wasn't her name Courtney? She's a little wooden in the clips I've seen but I liked her. I think the blondes on AMC at this time, aside from Gloria and Hayley, just had no real personality.

At the time it felt like an excuse to have the two characters sleep together. There wasn't enough build-up. It didn't help this came after a long period of me-me type behavior from both. I think that's probably one of the first times I remember a blatantly plot driven story when I was watching AMC - even stuff like the Noah/Julia Jamaica follies didn't knock me over that way.

In some of the episodes when the bigots who beat up Terence are being prosecuted, there's a brunette Galen, I think. Wasn't Galen a prosecutor?

I guess this was the second one - the first was a brunette right? I don't remember Dimitri's later sweaters being quite that bad. My grandfather really did own this sweater. When Peggy came in was she someone who had started working there or had she been around for years, offcamera? I think she knew Edmund, right? I can't remember now. I was reading some 1996 article asking writers what audience reaction surprised them - one of the AMC people said the audience reaction to Maria/Dimitri screwing around surprised them, because the viewers were disappointed in the characters, whereas the show thought viewers would just see it as people who were upset and grieving. Just another big example of the producers of that era, and later on, not getting fans, or what fans wanted to see.

The hole in Brooke's dress matches her earrings, exactly. How mid-60's of her. I can't believe the tooth guy was around for over 3 years, or that he was in scenes with Erica. Erica has better taste than that. Damn that was a nasty punch Dimitri threw. With that grandpa astroturf sweater he seems gentle but he's not playing around! That was some ugly stuff - I loved it. Does it make me a bad person that I laughed and laughed when Dimitri threw Charlie into a table and Charlie went "Aaaahhh!"? In the July 1995 episode is that another actor playing Jason Sheffield? Erica's collar and dress make her look like she's in a sexy Flintstones episode.

I love the Bianca/Kendall confrontation in this episode. I think it may be my favorite of any of their fights. It's nice to see more of that house...I can see why some here liked it so much. The living room set is beautiful. Stamp already an afterthought. Back in the day I reflexively got angry every time various characters began bashing Adam as a father. And I still do. A reminder of when I liked "Rendall".
