I thought the fire was by the interim writers. I can't remember. The story was good, mostly because of some of the stuff with Barbara and Kim. The rest was a mess. The episode I posted here yesterday is around this time (late 1997). It has Monti Sharp as Lew. If I hadn't seen him on GL, and enjoyed him, I never would have known he could act. He was awful on ATWT and GH.

That whole thing with Molly/Holden was the one where they hadn't had sex and she made Lily think they had? Or was this another time? I know one time Lily said she didn't believe it, and proved he had been drugged.

I think it was just a few months, yes. She was mayor long enough to start cleaning out the drug trade in Llanview, which is what got her shot. I think after her recovery from her stroke, she did go back to being mayor, but this wasn't used in the story. In 1991 she gave up her mayor job to spend more time with Clint because she thought he was having an affair. It's too bad.

I posted a link about this a page or two ago, but the whole thing annoys me. As the article I posted mentions, no other GOP primary states were asked this question. It just seems like baiting to get a reaction. Oh, those stupid Southerners again, ha ha.

What continually bothers me about Romney is just the constant pandering and how extreme this can be. For instance, he now supports "self-deportation." I don't think Obama ever claimed he wouldn't have fancy fundraising dinners. I also don't believe OWS object to fancy fundraising dinners. If you're going to accuse Obama of hypocrisy then maybe it should be based on something like his reversing his view of SUPER Pacs.

That Emily/Greta scene is hilarious, although she bears no resemblance to the woman who was James' mother in earlier years (in personality or looks). I thought that mid-90's theme was depressing, although I like it more now.

There was a book which came out a few years into the show, telling the Dynasty story. No mention of the rape.
