That's true. I think that the story with Michael helped LLB grow as an actress, although pairing them years later was a mistake. I think the last teen story I've seen on a soap which I was invested in was the story with Joey, Billy Douglas, and their female friend, on OLTL, although that I can't remember her name probably isn't a great recommendation.

Thanks. It's just weird that they specifically mentioned them that way. I wonder if they had a triangle in mind (since by this time I think she knew Scott was her brother, and Philip was dead). I would have liked seeing a slightly edgier guy on the canvas in that age group. I guess that didn't happen until Ryan, who never really interacted with Cricket, aside from Nina being her friend.

That third clip - I can't help it, I smile when I hear Gabrielle's Theme. It starts around 8:20. That New Jersey devil story is just absurd. This must have been strike material, right? I do love seeing more of Megan though. This Cassie and this Rob have some chemistry. I never saw any with she and Jon (who just seems like an ass most of the time).

An SOD preview for summer 1989 has a photo of Cricket and a photo of Chase, and says she will become closer to him, asks if she will tame the Jack Abbott in training. How far did this story go? I thought she was with Danny by this time. Did Chase ever have any real interaction with Jack?

I didn't realize Al was still on the show at this time. I thought Max had already dumped him off on Gabrielle. That "carnival" still cracks me up. Oh look, it's early Tea. Very early.

Soapboy this clip has some Bobbie. It's nice to see some Bobbie/SJB Carly scenes where they are close. Bobbie/Jerry were a very underrated couple.
