Who is that woman talking about the size of a hole? Marlo? Wow. I can't believe they are going that far on these shows - that's something I never exactly expected to hear people going on about on TV. I thought Nene was leaving? I guess she knows that the show is still popular enough and a few Glee guest spots aren't worth losing that money.

JFP did that. Riche basically let the show grind to a halt starting around 1997, and then did little to stop the Jason worship which ate the show alive starting in 1998. Many key stories which had been built up for some time, like the Stefan/Laura "romance", slowly died onscreen. Endless amounts of time were spent on zoned out Jason reading kid stories and pouting, while a dozen characters spent nearly every day raging over his honor and glory. Endless overly producer, slo-mo shootouts. Then you had some slapped together comic relief which wasted potential (like Jax/Alexis). They also did a poor job replacing Brenda, as Chloe and Hannah both failed with viewers.

It seemed like a lot this week but I didn't realize four soap actors had passed away. I'm glad your site gives attention to all of them. I'm not even sure how many in the media will mention Frid, let alone the others.

What would we do without Barnabas. Love or hate him, and Frid certainly had mixed feelings on the role, Barnabas became a huge icon, saving one of the best TV shows of all time from cancelation, and helping it to become immortal. I will never forget so many great moments between Barnabas and Julia, Barnabas and Willie, Barnabas and Angelique. I also enjoyed Bramwell/Catherine. I'm glad he got that final recognition of the movie.

Thanks. I remember that interview from long ago. At the time I was rolling my eyes, because i thought Guza was a hack even then, but at the time he was seen as a savior (not sure if anyone said that about LML even at the time). Riche was a very mixed bag as a producer, but I'd love to see her on a new soap (not on the networks, obviously) someday.

Chip Albers, or someone using his name for an account, has put up a few clips of Albers as Curtis. I've never seen him in the role before. Always great to see more Loving clips. I never knew what happened to Lottie. I guess now I do.

Chip Albers, or someone using his name for an account, uploaded some clips where Albers played young Michael. Who played young Donna? She reminds me of Eliza from Survivor. Her Donna does get better as the clips go along.

A clip from a 1985 Australian airing of AW. Mostly that whole dust story, and Daphne - I'd never seen a lot of AW from this time so hadn't seen her before. I think I like that brief clip of Felicia best - Dano draws you in even in that snippet. The thug threatening Jake and Marley - he's done a lot of other work. Wasn't he the abusive mayor on OLTL a few years ago (among many other shows)?

I wonder if it was changed at the last minute.

I lost my hearing once she started talking, but I think he said that he was supposed to be in big movie roles, but things fell through, he faced lawsuits, and he became an alcoholic.
