Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Aviva came off so poorly on the reunion. I did love when Ramona and Sonja (who were remarkably calm and lucid) called her out on only apologizing AFTER the public backlash against her behavior. Before the season began, throughout the season and even after the first St. Barth's episode aired, Aviva maintained she was right and that Ramonja were trash and despicable people. She only backtracked in her blog for the SECOND episode once she already knew people didn't agree with her. Beyond that she STILL doesn't seem sincere in her apologies. It's very odd. Carole was shockingly unprepared for a writer. I figured she'd have her one liners planned and also know what topics would be discussed. She seemed thrown off guard when anything negative was brought to her attention. What planet is she living on? It made her come off a bit sheltered and self centered. Heather, LuAnn and Ramonja kept me entertained. This was a nice reunion that wasn't as dark as New Jersey, which gets draining after a while. It was civil, but an entertaining wrap up.

Melrose Place
I liked Andrea myself, she was cute and spunky and had great chemistry with Brandon. Andrea died when they went to college and she got pregnant and an awful haircut and the worst cast husband in history. I did like when she returned in season 6 or 7 for a reunion episode. I wouldn't have her in a ton of episodes, but she could be useful. They could've had her as the school principal.

Oh I absolutely think the 90210 revival would've had stronger ratings had Brenda and Kelly been regulars with meaningful stories. They were a big part of many people tuned into that first season. Brenda's return after so many years was pretty heartbreaking. What was the point of it? It was terrible. I think they could've had Brenda, Kelly, Andrea and maybe Steve and Lindsay with some new leading men and a smaller group of teens and you'd have a balanced show that pleases both new and old 90210 fans and you'd have higher ratings. Considering how high 90210 started and where it's at now, that's shameful. ABC Family shows that you can do a teen/adult soap and get good ratings if the quality is good. CW blew their best shot at a true ratings victory. With Melrose, if it was brought back again I agree that I would bring Lisa Rinna back. I actually think they should've put her in Sydney's place on the original reboot. She's the only character that could've made sense there. She already had the relationship with Michael and also the long lost child. I don't understand why they brought Sydney back from the dead only to immediately kill her. I understand she wasn't their first choice, but it didn't make sense.

That drag queen that would NEVER make it on RuPaul's Drag Race needs to sit down with his receding hairline. He just seems so desperate and his attempts to create drama are so transparent. I hope they don't give him the satisfaction of an appearance at the reunion.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's been on Bravo's front page since it aired. This is up there with Nene vs Kim on WWHL. Basically, a foolish Joanna called in to defend herself against the recent hooker allegations and attack Adriana while shew as at it. Adriana ate her alive and had Joanna stumbling over her words and looking like a fool. Can.not.wait.for.the.reunion. Video: http://www.bravotv.c...vs-joanna-krupa Adriana was to calm while Joanna was talking so I didn't know how it would go, but she snatched that bitches weave right out of her scalp. ETA: Here is the full RHOM theme song, sung by Adriana. Not a bad song actually and her vocals are good compared to most housewives songs. Karent is absolutely a Latin Susan Lucci. I also agree with the Adrienne/Lisa comparisons. I've always thought that. Elsa is the most beautiful though. Speaking of, I got an email from Marysol because my Havana Elsa coffee had been sent back. Somehow I wrote the wrong address LOL. I was wondering what had happened to it. As time goes on Adrianna has absolutely become my favorite. She is perfection and I rank her with the best of the best in terms of housewives. After her WWHL smackdown of Joanna and this last episode she's my new goddess. Her interpretation of Karent with the artist was just classic.

I don't recall the level of promo for DC, but it's ratings were similar to what New York has this season, around 1.6-1.8 million. Ratings-wise they could've brought the show back. I think the Salahi backlash caused them not to touch it. Some stories said they'd only bring it back with the Salahi's, but the other wives balked at that idea. Other reports said they couldn't get any new people to sign up. Also, the reunion of DC was used as the intro to Beverly Hills' low rated first episode. Before it was the Bravo way to launch the new shows off of a previous seasons reunions. It baffles me that they haven't done that with Miami yet. I feel like it's just wasting away.

Diamond and Rasheeda did a lot of songs together as well, so that's a friendship you could expect on the show If Rasheeda sticks around.

Melrose Place
After the success of Dallas, it makes me so sad to see how the legacy of 90210 and Melrose Place was ruined with those stupid CW sequels. 90210 in particular could've been a HUGE hit had they compiled a cast of mostly original cast members with some new ones sprinkled in. I would've had Andrea Zuckerman as Principal, keep Kelly as Guidance Counselor and make Hannah and Silver the lead younger cast members. Then get Shannon Doherty back full time and work on getting some of the guys back. With Melrose Place you can't look at that cast photo and tell me that isn't a show you can sell. As bad as FOX is doing this season they should look into a proper Melrose Place reboot. I get the feeling the writers of the last one didn't watch the original. The tone was completely different as was the writing for everyone. I mean to think they wanted to kill Amanda in the pilot, that says it all.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I LOVE all three of the new girls, but they're the main reason the early episodes were so dull. Carole I enjoy the most, but she's not the type to do things that will create ratings. Heather took a while to heat up and Aviva was completely dull until she started fighting with Ramona. I think overall the season was carried by Ramona, Sonja and Heather, with Aviva stepping up at the end and Carole providing a Bethenny-esque Greek chorus. LuAnn was useless and desperate this season, but I found her likable. I do feel when she wasn't trying to create a storyline she seemed so sweet and funny. I wish she'd let her hair down more often. I wonder how the season would've gone had Cat from RHODC accepted the offer to join the show. Obviously she and LuAnn would be total enemies so that would be a complete shift. I wonder if she would've came off worse than Aviva.

They had no choice but end filming. They kept extending it, I believe by a couple of months and finally the three original girls refused to continue filming. I agree with them in this case. They did their job from day one, it's not their fault the new girls came in, mostly sucked and now they have to work overtime to salvage things for the new girls. It's a shame Alex McCord didn't take the Friend of Housewives gig though. I have no doubt when the saw footage coming in they would've quickly upgraded her and that probably would've helped the early episodes be more interesting. Alex vs LuAnn has more organic conflict than LuAnn desperately trying to create a fued with Ramona. Everybody started the season with no conflict so it was bound to be dull. I think overall this season did what it needed to do. People complained the previous season was too busy, so despite good ratings 4 cast members were fired, including two very popular ones. When the show came back it allowed viewers to get to know the new characters before things kicked off. Eventually it worked out. Going into next season I think they have a cast that can work for a couple of years. They need to consider dumping Aviva though and will have to be smart when bringing in one or two new wives next year.

Dina would be interesting if Caroline returned, but I'd prefer Caroline not return so I say NO to Dina. I wouldn't mind Melissa, Teresa, Danielle and two new wives. That could be fire. Having Danielle there would certainly paint Melissa in a new light.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I need a downfall season for Melissa. Her reactions always seem so rehearsed and scripted to me. Regardless of Teresa I do feel that's obvious by now. I wonder how she'd fare if Teresa weren't on the show. How would her story go? I bet on a housewives show without family she'd for sure be called out for being a phony and would end up being the villain.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Next season won't have the exact same cast because this season wasn't great ratings wise. I just don't see Aviva agreeing to return considering how this season turned for her. I think for a sure-fire ratings bonanza I would bring back Alex and Jill. They would help give LuAnn something to do and I also feel both were too popular to be let go. I understand season four was toxic, but I think it's a greater risk depending on the current wives or more new wives for ratings. This show needs a huge jolt. I could see Alex meshing well with Heather and Jill with Carole. I just think it would be a perfect cast dynamic.

I love the three parters. They had one last season too didn't they? I believe it was aired as two hour and a half specials, which is the same thing. I wonder if they'll air one of the reunions, either NJ or NY before an episode of Miami. Considering they have a total of six reunion episodes to play with I think that would be smart.

I don't think Sonja has shown herself to be an alcoholic. While on vacation she got knock down drag out drunk--on vacation--but we haven't seen her like that in New York. I think Aviva is off the mark there. After what we've seen with Taylor and Kim on RHOBH, I'd worry about them being an alcoholic/drug addict. Sonja is a saint compared to them. It's basically over. Next episode is the finale, then the reunion is next.

Wow, the Real Housewives fan in him came out lol. The backlash must've been huge if he's having her back on his show next week. I do think regardless of his opinion he was way too harsh and opinionated without actually seeing the full reunion. He didn't really allow her to speak. That was very odd and unlike what I've seen of him previously.

Supertrailer for Couples Therapy featuring Silex from RHONY: http://www.vh1.com/video/misc/839223/season-2-supertrailer.jhtml It made me sad watching this because it's obvious the only reason Simon and Alex did this is to remain on TV. Now don't get me wrong, they didn't do anything embarrassing, but the show itself is embarrassing. They are the only couple who aren't featured at all in the promo. Clearly they weren't having problems and either wanted the paycheck or to be on tv. I wish they'd held out in hopes that maybe Bravo would bring them back. I always liked Simon and Alex.

This is such an obvious producer setup. They were willing to pin this on anybody available, hence why they waited until AFTER the finale aired to say that based on all the footage and their knowledge, Teresa wasn't involved. We know for a fact that in addition to Angelo they invited Kim G and Danielle who they wanted for the original Melissa reveal. Can you imagine the ratings had those two shown up? It would've blown this Teresa scandal out of the water. It's just unfortunate for Teresa that they decided not to come so she was the fall girl.

LMAO! Andy Cohen is sick. On WWHL he randomly asks Marysol, "Did you have a facelift?" And she seemed so shocked and said she was only 45 which is too young for a facelift. Then Ana said "wrong cast member" and Marysol said Lea got a facelift lol. It was hilarious. And Alexia being the peacemaker went on about how beautiful Lea's face was. They let loose. It was a fun appearance.

I think the long seasons are fine on the better shows. With Beverly Hills it absolutely worked last season and I think New York and Atlanta can sustain long seasons as well. New Jersey is the only show I think struggled from an extended season. Even in season one I felt there was so much filler getting to the table flip. That show is all about one big event and everything leading up to that. THeir personal lives are not interesting. Going back to Miami, I still don't fully understand the way they launched it. In the old days they'd always launch a new housewives series after a reunion episode of the previous series. I understand none of the shows were ending, but why not put a special New Jersey episode prior to Miami? As it stands, you have two popular franchises doing very well in the ratings and ALSO leading up to their finales. There is no need to watch Miami if you aren't already a fan. I figured once New Jersey ended maybe viewers could sample it, but now the focus will be on Beverly Hills and Atlanta. Once again, it runs the risk of being lost in the shuffle.

I'm excited, but I think it's stupid having three series at once. Miami willl still be new by the time these hit. They needed to put Miami after New Jersey or something, so it can get sampled by those viewers.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm hopeful Miami will improve in ratings as the season airs. I think they should've premiered it after a New Jersey episode. RIght now the first season was a huge flop and then it had a lot of badwill initially because of replacing NYC. It's going to be an uphill battle, but it'll hopefully spark mid-season. It took NYC until St. Barth's to find rating success.

Oh I thought Aviva came off like trash. I felt so hurt for Sonja in particular, who seemed to like Aviva and really didn't do anything. Aviva kept going on and on and the various reactions were kinda odd. I also think Ramona handled herself better than I'd expect. She didn't fly off the handle and tried to calm things several times. Something hilarious is that all season Aviva has carried herself with a smug confidence in the press, even her blog last week was praising her craziness. Now this week she's apologizing profusely because everybody called her out on her bad behavior lol.

I also think filming the majority of the new season with the other one airing is going to hurt things. Obviously they're watching last season and reacting to things they saw, but they don't come straight out and say it. It's very confusing. I hear the reunion this year is dull because it's mostly a rehash of old stuff, but it was obvious that was going to happen. Last seasons reunion was enough for this year as well.
