    Monday

After a long night at the police station answering questions, Noah and Carrie return to Carrie's section of Barbara's penthouse. There, Carrie finally reveals to Noah that she is the daughter of Darryl Crawford and hence, Jennifer's half-sister. Noah urges her to tell Barbara, but Carrie refuses and starts to tear up. Unable to find any other way to console her, Noah gives her a gentle kiss on the lips. Carrie inwardly recalls making a deal with James, but he never had the chance to fulfill his end of the bargain. She pushes Noah away and after he leaves, she cries herself to sleep. Dreaming, she hears a baby crying but can't find where it is. She wakes up in a hot sweat and again bursts into tears before finally falling back to sleep.

Margo reaches out her hand to console Barbara over losing James, but she snatches her hand away and huffs that she's glad that bastard is dead. "Maybe this time he'll actually stay dead," Paul adds. Rosanna takes her leave from the interrogation room and outside, runs into Carly. Worried, Carly asks for a quick recap. She's disheartened that James was keeping Cabot from her and even more perplexed that James would act as if he didn't even know where the toddler was. Paul comes out and informs Carly that it's just like James to play mind games and act like he doesn't have something when he really does. Noticing she's upset, Paul offers to drive Rosanna home but Carly demands Paul leave her alone. "You and your father have done enough," Carly snaps.

As they make their way out, Margo and Barbara emerge from the interrogation room. Barbara can tell Paul's upset. Almost sounding like his father, Paul grumbles that he'll turn up every house in the world if he has to just so he can find Cabot. When Barbara makes a comment about checking on Carrie, Paul insists the girl is no good and urges his mother to kick her out now that James is dead and gone. Barbara replies that the poor girl simply got mixed in with the wrong crowd. James made her empty promises and took her away from her family...now it's her job, she says, to make sure Carrie is taken care of.

Emma's eyes fume with anger as she asks once again what the hell Holden and Lily think that they're doing. Holden acts like he doesn't know anything, leading Lily to finally cave and admit that they knew about Clark weeks ago. When they found out, they wanted to let Emma know that they approve her decision to move on. Yelling, Emma hurls that she doesn't need their approval for a damn thing. She voices her disappointment in them for interfering in her life. What if the children found out, she asks. Holden says that the children will be fine. They might be shocked at first, but they'll be happy if their grandmother is happy. Emma replies that she still can't believe that they went behind her back like this, or even spied on her in the first place. Her business is her business, she curses, slamming the door behind her. Lily rolls her eyes and tells Holden this was a bad idea from the beginning, but Holden is convinced that Emma's just embarassed and needs to know that her family is supportive of her moving on with someone else. With that, he suggests they plan an impromptu family meeting to declare their support for Emma. Lily's adamant that they not do such a thing and recalls what Emma said about interfering. Holden's mind is made up, though, and he places phone calls to Luke, Jack, and Brad to appear for breakfast at the farm in the morning.

Katie can't believe what Lyla is saying to her and asks when she found out. Lyla reveals that she's known for a while. That's partly the reason she got so upset when Casey was in the wreck. She's not sure her family can handle another loss. Katie's determined to get her mother to leave town with them, but Lyla insists that her treatment won't allow it. Brad comes home and sees Katie is upset, pacing in the living room. Once she comes face to face with her husband, she recalls all the times that he's made it clear that he doesn't want Lyla to stand in the way of their life together. She knows that if she tells Brad that Lyla's cancer has returned, he'll take it the wrong way and think that Lyla's trying to come between them and their future together. Unable to think of anything else, Katie finally crumbles and lies that she's pregnant.

    THE WORLD OF OAKDALE
    TWOO Opening

    Grant's party continues.

Lisa finds Emma and asks to borrow her lipstick. Lisa walks towards Emma's purse as the camera zeroes in on a gun inside the purse! Lisa gasps when she sees the gun and asks Emma what she's doing. Emma chuckles, saying that she left it in there after killing a rattlesnake out by the pond the other day. Lisa exuses herself when she sees Roxie and Chris gathered. Emma grabs her purse and shoves the gun deeper inside of her purse. Cryptically, she says that if the need arises, she has what she needs.

Chris goes up to Roxie and is surprised to see his Aunt Lisa soon join them. Lisa tells them that she knows what they're both up to and as long as she's breathing, she won't ever approve of their relationship. After Lisa walks off, Roxie scoffs at her attempt to try and make her and Chris not see each other. Chris tells her that he thinks it's for the best. He explains that he did something so horrible, so terrible...and he'll never be able to recover. Roxie wants to ask more, but grows furious when she sees John enter. John saunters away when he spots Rxie approaching, but Roxie cuts him off and with an evil smirk, tells him "Now, now there, John. Whatcha running for? Afraid I'll find out that maybe 'Johnny Boy' hasn't been such a good boy after all?" End on John's panicked face.

Lily arrives and finds Jack by the bar. She asks if he's seen Holden and he replies that Holden went outside on the terrace for some fresh air. Lily finds Holden outside and begs him to quit chasing Craig. Holden goes into a spill about how much pain and devestation Craig brings wherever he goes and tells Lily that it has to stop. Lily agrees and inside, knows what she has to do.

Ben and Jessica enter. Jessica gets a call from Margo and runs outside to take it. We see Margo on an airplane with Tom. Jessica agrees to come pick them up. Meanwhile, Ben finds Bob and tries to beat around the bush, asking if he's told Kim yet or confronted Chris. Bob says that he has and says that Kim did not take it well at first, but she's coming around. He tells Ben that he plans to address Chris about it all later. Chris walks up behind them and asks what the hell they think they're doing..talking about him as if he's not even there.

As we see Tom and Margo getting in the car with Jessica and thanking her for the ride, a mysterious woman looks on.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Maddie and Luke arrive at the party. Luke thanks her for accepting his invitation and pledges to keep it cool tonight. No fits. No fights. Maddie turns around when she hears a familiar voice and is shocked to see Henry at the bar getting drunk off of martinis. Maddie can't believe her big brother is back so soon! Henry drunkenly babbles that he had no place to go so he just stayed a few nights in Chicago. Maddie still can't believe her eyes and leaps for joy that her brother is back in Oakdale where he belongs.

Bob, Ben, and Chris all seemed to have moved outside towards the elevators. Kim punches the button "7" and ding after ding of each floor, she hears an argument getting louder and closer, louder and closer. Kim steps off the elevator and sees the three men arguing louder than ever. Not knowing what they're arguing about but hasty to confront her son, Kim barges her way into the center of the three and orders them all to just shut up. As Nancy looks on, Kim asks her son what he has become. "Do I even know you anymore?" she emotionally shrieks. Bob tries to hold her back. Kim can see the emotion, the sorrow filling Chris's eyes with tears and demands to know what happened at Windy Falls!

Katie and Mike return to Oakdale and though they had initally refused the idea, decide to go to Grant's party. Everyone congratulates the newlyweds as they enter the party. Mike locks eyes with Lily as he flashes back to their kiss at the Wagon Wheel. Lily comes up and asks to borrow Mike for a moment. Once they're alone in the storage room, Mike tells her that he's very sorry about their kiss. Lily says she knows and that she knows they said they'd remain friends. However, Craig knows. Mike is horrified and wants to know how Craig knows. Lily says that she doesn't know, but she plans on telling Holden so he needs to tell Katie. Astonished, Lily listens as Mike tells her that he's already told Katie. He tells of how they made a pact to never keep a secret from one another as long as they both shall live. Lily immediately feels horrible, since she's still struggling with how she'll tell Holden.

Milly goes outside for some fresh air and hears a ruffle in the bushes. This face appears. "Well hello, young man. You sure are quite a looker. Lovely night, isn't it?", Milly flirtaciously smirks. The man walks away and Milly just stands there, saying she never was that attracted to foreigners anyway. As she looks inside her purse, she sees the gun. She turns her head to make sure nobody is coming or looking and pulls it out. "Tonight all my troubles will finally be over", she says as she lets out a psychotic cackle.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Lisa happens upon Dana in the ladies room. Lisa applauds Dana for a job well done and asks what she got her father for his birthday. Dana exictedly informs Lisa that her father is going to be so surprised when he sees his present! Lisa asks what it is again, but Dana runs off, leaving Lisa baffled.

Gwen and Will find themselves stuck at the B.R.O. offices. Gwen, who locked her keys in the car, goes to call a cab but the operator tells her that all of the cabs are booked for a big party up town. Gwen shouts at the operator that the party is where they're going. Angrily she hangs up and is even more frustrated when she sees Barbara pull up.

    ------COMMERCIAL------

Barbara offers Will and Gwen a lift. Though both initially refuse it, they decide that they'd much rather be at a party than stuck in a parking lot.

Grant arrives and everyone wishes him a happy birthday. He promises everyone a good time and the band starts to play. Lily gets on stage and sings.

As Lily sings, the scene switches to a dark room. A white glove delicately caresses the barrel of a small hand gun.

    Fade out.

    And don't miss tomorrow....

.....when The World Of Oakdale goes out with a few bombshells and one big....

Her head hanging low reading a chart, Susan inadvertently runs into Bob. Bob chuckles that Susan's shift ended an hour ago. Susan explains that she just had a mother go into premature labor and she doesn't trust the other doctor to handle the patient as well because she knows the mother. Bob orders Susan to go home and get plenty of reast, assuring her that she has a big night tomorrow night at the grand opening of Memorial's cancer ward. As soon as Susan turns her key in the door, Alison greets her. Alison explains that she saw a light on as she drove by and decided to come in and wait so the two of them could talk. They sit down and Alison starts off by commenting on the akward apology that Aaron and Emily exchanged earlier. Alison fears Aaron's not really over his anger. Susan assures her that he might take some time getting over his anger, but she doesn't think Alison has anything to worry about. When talk shifts to the grand opening, Alison says that she's not going because Emily will be there covering for the Intruder. Susan scolds Alison, telling her that if she wants Aaron to forgive and forget, she has to do the same as well. Her problems with Emily will always be there..it's called sibling rivalry. Susan continues, reminding Alison that the only reason Emily didn't seek some sort of justice for Aaron's crime was to keep the peace between her and her sister. Alison agrees to appear and promises that she'll be civil with Emily...for her mother's sake and for Aaron's.

Michael walks into the police station and asks to speak with Lt. Hughes. Margo emerges and Michael tells her about Doris snooping around and informs his step-niece that he thinks his soon to be ex-wife tried to kill him by running him off the road. Margo makes a call and learns that the evidence report just came in. The red paint found on Michael's car matches the same paint that's found on Ford Mustangs. Michael yelps that it's exactly what Doris drives. Margo tells him that she'll get on it first thing in the morning. Later, Margo sees Lisa outside the door and welcomes her in. Lisa tells Margo that something's been troubling her for a while but she didn't want to say anything because she feared she might be instigating. Upon Margo's invitation to spill the beans, Lisa tells Margo that a woman came into Fashions last week and was asking all sorts of questions about Margo and Michael. She never bought anything. She just came in, asked, and left. Margo's assures Lisa that there's nothing going on and promises to look into it. After Lisa leaves, Margo concludes that the mystery woman could be Doris.

Lily and Faith stroll through the horse pasture at the Snyder farm. Faith whines that her legs are killing her and demands to know what Lily brought her all the way out here for. It's dark, the mosquitoes are swallowing her body parts whole, and the smell is less than flattering. Lily giggles and tells her that they'll be there in a minute. The two approach an old oak tree and look up at the stars, resting their heads on the trunk of the tree. Lily tells her daughter that when she was young, she had a lot of problems with her mother, too. She always felt mistreated and neglected. Her mother seemed too busy with board meetings and rarely went to any of her school plays. Faith mumbles that the situations are completely different. Lily leans forward and tells Faith that she might not be the perfect mom, but she tries to be the best she can be. She wants to see her children grow and prosper and she wants to be there for them. Lily recalls that even when she was struggling with her own issues earlier this year, she tried being there for Faith. Now, she wants to be there for Faith again. She knows that she put her family in danger by looking into Craig's death, but now she wants to make it right. All she needs is for her children to trust her. The crickets chirp through the piercing silence until finally, Faith apologizes to her mom. She reasons that she knows her mom loves her, but alot of times, she feels 20th on a list of her mom's priorities. Through tears, Lily promises to try and be a better mother for her, Luke, Natalie, and Ethan.

Sofie cries to Gwen that Casey said some hurtful things about her time with Cole and all she wants to do is just hold Hallie and try and remember the one good thing about him. As Hallie stirs in her crib, Sofie and Gwen watch on. Sofie wishes that she weren't so dependent on Hallie, but Gwen understands why she got upset. Gwen tells Sofie that she has to go to bed, but invites Sofie to come with her to the grand opening of the cancer ward tomorrow night. Perhaps, Gwen suggests, it'll take Sofie's mind off of things. Will brushes past Sofie on her way out and asks Gwen what Sofie wanted. Gwen snaps "nothing" before heading into the bedroom and locking the door behind her. Forced to sleep on the couch, Will rests his head down and flashes back to meeting with Stan yesterday. Will hopes that once Iris is exposed, Gwen will see that she can never be trusted and run back to him. Meanwhile, Sofie quietly opens the door and finds Casey fast asleep in the bed. Sofie sits on the edge, taking off her shoes. She's startled when Casey mutters something in his sleep and rolls over, but he never wakes. Sofie turns around and stares at Casey, recalling his fight with Gabe. Sofie lays down beside a snoozing Casey, reminding herself that she loves Casey and if he loves her, he'll let her do what she wants with her life...modeling.

Kevin makes mention of the noticeable tension between Noah and Luke, but Luke denies there's anything amiss in his relationship. Luke turns around and viciously asks Kevin what makes him think that he can just walk back into his life. Luke hisses that he had a crush on Kevin a while ago, but he ignored Luke's advances, and soon moved away. Now, Luke continues, he thinks he can just walk back into Luke's life without hesitation and suddenly, their friendship will be mended. Kevin replies that he only wants what's best for Luke and honestly, he doesn't see anything in Noah that Luke should fight for. Luke snaps that Kevin knows nothing about Noah and orders him out. Later, Noah returns home and tells his boyfriend that he and Sherry will be attending the grand opening of the cancer ward as a couple tomorrow night. Noah pleads for Luke to not get jealous or cut in...no matter what. Still fuming from his fight with Kevin, Luke just nods and turns over to sleep.

Emily and Alison interrupt the conversation and publically apologize for accusing Casey of being Ali's stalker.

Katie finds Henry at his house all by himself. Katie asks where Vienna is and Henry explains that she's out looking for potential investors for her new business venture. Katie tells Henry that Vienna should consult with Kim, but Henry sees it as a lost cause since he and Kim haven't always seen eye to eye since his scheming first days at WOAK. Brad comes over, unaware that Henry orchestrated the whole thing. Katie gripes that Henry called her over to discuss Vienna's new business, as Brad argues that Henry called him over to discuss employment. Henry leaves Brad and Katie alone. Forced together, neither says a word; they just stare at one another.

Emma returns to Oakdale from a farmers convention and learns from Luke that Lily went missing in Barbados, there for answers about Craig's death, and now Holden has gone missing trying to find her. Luke explains that he feels like Noah is hiding something and after the apartment fiasco, he doesn't want another lie to come between them. A bitter J.J. tells her not to hold out hope, forcing Carly and Jack to scold him. J.J. reiterates that they've already made it perfectly clear that neither of them still loves the other. Carly assures the kids that she and Jack still love one another, but they'll never love one another like they once did...when they were all a family. Jack's painful glance catches Carly's eye, but she moves on and shocks Jack by revealing that she's inviting Carrie to move in with her. Jack seems confused, citing that Carly used to hate Carrie. Carly agrees that she was tough on Carrie, but now that she has talked with Carrie, she knows that Carrie is in a rundown apartment across town, on her own, with no family around to help, and pregnant. Carly remembers being in her shoes. Although she had Mike at the time that she was pregnant with Nora, she didn't have all of him. Rosanna was her only family and at the time, they detested one another because of Mike. Furthermore, Carly thinks it'll be nice to have someone around to help with the kids (it'll give Carrie good practice) and to have some company around the house. Jack thinks Carly's out of her mind.

As Gwen bathes Hallie, Will steps in and cautiously asks Gwen where she's been lately. Gwen laughs past the questions, saying that she's been so busy with Hallie that she herself doesn't even know where she's been. Will gets a bit angry and demands to know where Gwen has been going at midnight or later with their daughter. Gwen begs Will to calm down and assures him that she's simply been taking Hallie out for late walks and one night, they went to Gwen's friend's house. Will demands to know who the friend is, but Gwen doesn't say, citing that he's acting more like her father than her husband. Will replies that he is a father...to Hallie. And he deserves to know where she's been. Finally, Gwen lies and says she's been visiting Alison. Will buys it for the time being as Gwen breathes a sigh of relief.

Later, after a few drinks, Casey and Gwen bond over their old times together, choosing to reflect on the positive and not the negative. With a little alcohol in their systems, Casey and Gwen share a brief kiss, but both pull away once they recall what happened the last time they got drunk together at a party.

Feeling guilty, Jade decides to go back to her empty apartment. Once she's there, she gets spooked by a loud noise and calls up her aunt, asking if she can crash at Lily's for the night. Holden doesn't like the idea, but Lily reminds him that she promised Rose she would look after Jade and that's what she's going to do.

Will comes by the penthouse looking for Barbara but she's already left for her meeting out of town. Noah answers the door shirtless and when Carrie emerges from her room watching television in her robe, Will gets the wrong idea. After he collects himself, he sees Gwen inside the party at Donovan's. He loses it again and starts to run off, but Carrie heads him off at the pass. She explains that Noah was suffocating her and she needed to get out for a while. She heard there was a party at Donovan's tonight and hadn't planned on stopping until she saw Will outside. Gesturing towards the door, she suggests they go in. Will voices his reluctance in going into the party, but Carrie eventually convinces him to just do it. Seeing them enter out of the corner of her eye, Gwen decides to make her exit. Will stops her and tells her not to leave on his accrod. Without saying a word, Gwen walks right past him and gives Carrie a quick glance-over. Carrie reminds Will that he and his wife are both hurting right now; the best thing to do is just shrug it off and don't worry about it for tonight. Just have a good time, she says. Across the room, Alison notes the tension between Gwen and Will and shrugs that she was almost sure that what Will and Gwen had would last forever. She finds Aaron drifting asleep and immediately becomes alarmed. She takes him to the hospital reluctantly. Once there, Bob informs them that during the fight, Aaron hit his head pretty hard and has a mild concussion, so they're going to keep him overnight just to be safe. Back at the party, Noah comes in and finds Carrie and Will talking with some friends of Will's. Noah pulls Carrie aside and asks her to come back to the penthouse. Finally having enough of his clingy behavior, Carrie takes a stance and sternly replies that she's staying with Will and she'll come back to Barbara's when she feels like it. Defeated, Noah walks outside.

Although initially shocked and confused by her outburst, Emily quickly apologizes and the two continue dancing. As they dance all alone in a dark, empty Donovan's, we hear Dusty ask if she'll do him an honor and be his fiancee again after he was so stupid to call it off. Sofie spends her first day as babysitter putting up with a fussy Hallie. Casey tries to appease the little infant, but her screams become so bad that they eventually have to call Gwen over from her first day of work. A hesitant Gwen suggests that they're all moving too fast and upon Will's return home, suggests they not rush back to work so soon. Will tells Gwen that they have no choice, as Will alone can't make enough money to support them and the money from Gwen's demos has long been gone. Gwen suggests they get a new babysitter...one that's more familiar to Hallie. Will laughs that they can't get any closer to familiar than Hallie's biological mother. Gwen suggests Iris, but Will shoots the idea down and wonders why Gwen suggested Iris in the first place.

Casey and Sofie return to Lucinda's guest house and learn that now that Sofie isn't working there, she has a week to find a new place to live. Casey suggests they live with Tom and Margo and go to see what Tom and Margo think about the idea. Emily runs into Alison at Java and the two sisters exchange hello's before Alison starts to take her leave. Emily calls out for Alison and tearfully begs Ali to forgive her. And furthermore, Alison continues, Emily used her sister to gather information about the story. Alison leaves and bumps into Dusty, who asks Alison to not disclose to Emily that he's the one that wrote the retraction.

Margo calls Jack and tells him that Carrie's last name is Whitten and the first record of her was when she received a speeding ticket in July of 2004. Jack finds it odd that Carrie never existed before then and wonders if Carly knows about this. Jack stops by the house and is informed by Carrie that Carly asked her to watch Parker, Sage, and J.J. while she finished up at work. Jack asks Carrie what brought her to Oakdale and Carrie replies that she's lived in Chicago all her life and came to work when a former employer recommended her to Kim Hughes. She shuts down when Jack continues asking questions about her past, making Carrie think that Jack doesn't trust her with the children. Jack takes his leave and later, Carrie informs Carly that her nosey ex-husband came by earlier, asking questions about Carrie. Carly vows to take care of this and heads off to confront Jack.

Tom and Margo arrive wihtout Casey. They fill Katie in as to where he is and Katie is heartbroken that he felt the need to leave Oakdale to find himself. Katie also tells Margo that Mark is doing a lot better, but Mike still won't be back in time for the auction.

Nick and Jennifer arrive at the auction. He calms her fears about Dusty taking Meg's side and consoles her by saying that Dusty's just a good hearted guy and he's looking out for both her and Meg. That all changes, however, when Dusty comes in...with Meg on his arm.
