Jack's world publically spins out of control for all to witness

Time is ticking for Jack, as he plans for his first political debate with Randall. As he’s going over his notes, Sharon walks in the door. Looking up, he can tell that she’s still upset at Nikki’s decision to fire her from NVP. Putting his notes down, he goes over to her and suggests that she go along with him to get her mind off of what has happened. Sharon tells him that she will be there by his side, just as he has been by hers.

At the Athletic Club, Victor and Randall are discussing things regarding the debate over lunch. Holding the folder with the damaging information on Jack, Victor hands it over to him. Opening it up, Radall sees the copy of the will along with information that Jack was in fact the owner of Jabot. Closing it, Randall tells him that when Jack is least expecting the other shoe to drop, he will unleash the cold hard truth for all to hear.

Devon is getting ready to head out to meet friends when he passes by the bathroom door. Stopping in mid stride, he hears Amber singing. He’s pleasantly surprised by how good she sounds. Making his way down the stairs, he quickly scribbles a note for her to meet up with him at Crimson Lights.

Dru exits the elevator, heading for Nikki’s office. When she arrives, she is surprised to see that Phyllis is there. Nikki cuts right to the chase; they need a new NVP spokes model; and she’s the one that would be perfect for the job. Dru immediately asks what happened to Sharon. Nikki tells her that now that she owns NVP, some changes needed to be made. An excited Dru asks them if she can talk it over with Neil and get back to them. Phyllis and Nikki agree to let her take some time.

Lauren, still at Michael’s wants to know what possessed him to run off with their child. Michael tells her that he was so hurt that she left him that he wasn’t thinking rationally. He asks her why they can’t work on things. Lauren tells him that she can’t stay with a man that has lied and covered up things from her. She tells him that if he ever wants to have a chance at reconciling he has only one choice; stop defending and protecting Gloria. He tells her that he can’t just turn his back on his mother; Lauren says that if he wants to be a part of her life, as well as Fen’s, he will need to let Gloria pay for all her crimes.

Amber meets up with Devon. Handing her a caramel latte, he asks her how long she’s been singing. She tells him that she’s been singing since she was a young girl; it’s the best release she has when she wants to pour her heart out. Devon admits to hearing her sing while she was in the shower and expresses how wonderful her voice is. Blushing, Amber eats up the compliment. She eats up more of his praise when he tells her that she would be perfect for a record. Just then, Lily, who has walked in, looks at them from a distance.

At the Athletic Club, JT is hard at work on the weight machines when he notices Amanda walking in. Stepping away from the equipment, he approaches her, surprised to see her again. Amanda smiles and asks him if he has a membership there. When he tells her he does, he asks why she wants to know. Amanda tells him that she’s thinking of joining. Flirting with her, JT says maybe she should join him for dinner so he can tell her of all the things about Genoa City. Amanda happily agrees to go out with him.

When Amber leaves the coffee shop, Lily, quickly approaches Devon, sharing her dislike for his getting close to the woman that caused her marriage so much trouble. Devon tells Lily that she needs to deal with her issues with Amber on her on; he has nothing to do with them. Hurt that he’s not taking her side, Lily tells him she wishes the blonde would just leave Genoa City for good. Devon tells Lily that if she wants Amber gone, he may have the exact opportunity to make that happen. He quickly excuses himself to go make a phone call.

The debate between Randall and Jack is in full swing. People all over Genoa City are either listening at the actual debate, or have turned on their television sets to see what is to come. The debate turns ugly when Randall slams Jack for being a man that lacks integrity and family values. Jack tries to defend himself, stating that his father has always taught him the meaning of being a man of honesty and integrity; both in business and within the family. Randall asks Jack if he thought it was honest and a sign of integrity when he purposely forged a new will to oust his father’s wife out of anything that was owed her. Randal continues on to say that it must have been that same ‘integrity’ that had him plot and scheme to use another man to front his buying back the company he was tossed out from. Jack is completely numb as photographers snap images of his world falling apart around him.

NEXT WEEK ON GENOA CITY

JACK: Face it Sharon, the only thing you're good at is offering amazing sex.

SHARON: I'm not going to stand here while you insult me.

NIKKI: Victor, despite all that you have done for me, I still need time to think things out regarding us.

DRU: Oh, I know I didn't just hear you say you're taking a trip to Los Angeles with that hootch Amber?

DEVON: This is business, Dru, nothing more.

DRU: Whatever it is, I'll be damned if I let my son get wrapped around that girl's finger.
