Natalia knocks on Ria’s door. Ria opens it up.

Ria

“Hey girl. It’s good to see you.” Ria hears the Bryan’s crying in their stroller behind Natalia.

Ria

“Girl, I’m not feeling no chill’rens right now. My stories are on girl. I’m trying to find out who killed Diane Jenkins and just who exactly is the real Todd Manning.”

Natalia

“You and your soap operas I swear.” She says entering her bestfrieds house with her the double stoller.

Ria

“Girl you know I hate to be interrupted during my story time. So what is going on?”

Nat

“Well I came to see how you were. I have not seen you in a wile. I’ve been so caught up with Bryan, Sabryn and her trial.”

Ria

“I’ve been ok. Just taking it day by day. Watching my soaps keeps my mind of my own problems.”

Natalia

“Well watching your soaps is not helping the cause. So what’s next? Are you going to get treatment for this breast cancer?”

Ria

“I have not gotten that far. I’ve been so scared. I don’t know what to do I just can’t’ believe this is happening to me.” Natalia walks over and gives Ria a hug as Bryan Jr the 1^st begins to cry.

Ria

“Damn girl. Can’t you shut that damn baby up!?”

Natalia

“It’s Sabryn’s big headed son who keeps being a cry baby. I don’t know what to do. He won’t shut up. I can’t live my life because all he wants to do is be a cry baby like his mother.”

Ria

“Well you ever think he needs his real mother Nat? With as much as Bryan charges for his whack as drinks at his club, he need to be hiring you a baby sitter or nanny or something.”

Natalia

“It’s all about my son. And keeping my family together. I am doing this for my son. You’re right though. Bryan is making a killing of his notorious expensive drinks at his club. I should be able to live out my life to. I should hire a nanny or something to help out with Sabryn’s bad ass son.”

Ria

“Do you really have to since Sabryn is going to jail right?”

Natalia

“To be honest, I really don’t know. It’s looking like Sabryn's lawyer may beat Sabryn’s murder wrap.”

Ria

“Wow, Sabryn shot Ashley eight times in front of police. How does she get away with that?”

Natalia

“I want to know the same thing. But it looks she’s about to. And the first thing she is going to do is come after me and my family. I have to be ready?”

Ria

“Well I will say Lisa is a bad ass lawyer so I am not surprised she’ll get those charges against Sabryn dropped. I will say Nat, Sabryn is a strong person. Are you going to be able to go head to head with her?”

Natalia

“Ria, I’ve won so far. I got her baby’s father, I got her son, and I now got the company she once dreamed of having. Her fashion house is non existent now. I have the life she wants. She can’t touch me.”

Ria

“How can you be so sure?”

Natalia

“I asked Bryan to marry me?”

Ria

“Shut up hoe! No you didn’t. How did that come about?”

Natalia

“Oooo, Ria you would be so proud. I gave Bryan some good p u s s y and I think he is falling in love with me. He is showing me he cares about me. All it took is some good sex.”

Lavender Hill, Karim’s Mansion

Alexis unlocks the door and walks in. She is stunned to see Karim lying naked on a red satin sheet with rose pedals all around him and the floor. Candles are light and the lights are low. Soft music is playing in the background “So Sexual” by Sisqo. Alexis is quite impressed with the scene of romance.

“What is all of this?”

Karim

“I’m glad you came. I didn’t think you would come home.”

Alexis

“And why wouldn’t I?”

Karim

“A lot has been going on between us lately. Ladonna, my father and mother, my brother’s suicide, your sister, her child. “

Alexis

“It has been a lot. “

Karim

“I just wanted you to know that I love you and I believe in you. We haven’t had any “us” time. And I felt the tonight it could just be us. So why don’t you get more comfortable and lay here with me.”

Alexis is seduced. Remebering how she fell in love with Karim in the first place. His looks, his body, his sensual eyes. She takes her clothes off and lies next to Karim. He holds her.

Alexis

“This feels so good Karim. I’ve missed this.”

Karim

“I’ve missed you. And I love you Alexis. I apologize about my recent behavior, my drinking and the incident with your sister.”

Alexis

“So does this mean you are done drinking?”

Karim Looking into her eyes,

“Alexis, I love you, No issues. Not tonight. I just want to love you.” He kisses her passionately. He then pulls back and looks at her once more.

“Alexis I love you and I can’t wait to be a family. You have made me the happiest man in the world. Having my child, it’s something no one else can give me.”

Alexis

“Karim I love you to.” She kisses him back and they lean back and make love to the music. Alexis makes sure she enjoys this love session with Karim as she knows it could be her last.

Downtown Pasadena, City Jail

Bryan walks up to Sabryn’s cell.

Sabryn

“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be at home with that tramp Natalia? playing house with my son?”

Bryan

“That was quite a show you put on with Mike today at court.”

Sabryn

“Was it? The only show I was interested in was the one about me about to beat this murder rap. And you know what is going to happen next when I get out of here?”

Bryan

“Yea yea same old story Sabryn. Revenge.”

Sabryn

“I can’t believe you are so calm. So you enjoy hurting me Bryan? The only thing I did was love you. How did we get here? Why did you do this to me? Being with Natalia and letting that low class slut raise our son? Why? What did I do to you for you to do me like this?”’

Bryan

“I was scared! I thought you weren’t going to beat this murder rap Sabryn Jesus Christ you shot Ashley in front of police eight times! How do you except to get away with that? I had to do what was best for my family and Natalia was on the same page.”

Sabryn

“Of course that leech would be. She would do anything to get at me. She’s holding this stupid grudge against me. Well Bryan it looks like I am going to beat these charges. And you should already know when I get out of here I am coming for you and that nasty skank of yours. And of course I will obtain my son. You went too far by being with nasty Natti. That’s unforgivable to me. You have forever ruined us. My son will never know you as his father. So enjoy this time you have with him now.”

Bryan

“You won’t be able to take my son away from me. I won’t let you.”

Bryan

“How do you expect to stop me?”

Bryan

“Well first off, you’re not the same Sabryn. This murder has really brown nosed you. You have lost everything. Your money, your power, and your respect. You don’t have that much to get my son from me.”

Sabryn

“And why is that? Because you had an affair with Ashley. This all stems from that. You did all of this. And I will do some error correction.”

Bryan

“Natalia asked me to marry her.”’

Sabryn

“You Bastard! A dirty Bastard! I can’t believe I have a child with you. And what did you say? Are you going to marry that whore?”

Mike

“You’re going to marry Natalia?” He says walking in on the scene.

Bryan

“This is none of your business super man.”

Mike

“I care for Sabryn. I don’t understand why you here Bryan. I have seen nothing but you hurting Sabryn. She doesn’t need you here rubbing in the fact that you are marrying her enemy.”

Bryan

“I didn’t say we were getting married. I just said she asked me to marry her. This is none of your business Mike. I have a child with Sabryn and you can’t touch that. Never!”

Mike

“Not trying to my friend. It seems you are jealous.”

Bryan

“Of what?”

Mike

“That Sabryn and I are moving closer and you wish it was you. You see you’re the runner up. You got Natalia. I got the grand prize, Sabryn. You have hurt Sabryn deeply and that’s just something she will never forgive. I would advise you not to waste your time coming around her.”

Bryan

“Who the hell do you think you are man?” Bryan tries to punch Mike but Mike blocks his punch.

Mike, chuckling

“ There there now. Calm down. You don’t want to hit the chief of police now do you?”

Bryan

“Take that title and shove it your mother’s ass Mike.”

Mike

“You know Bryan. I’ve dealt with this kind of situation before. I had to deal with Ty taking Jenn away from me. I’ve learned a thing or two from that. And let me tell you I won’t lose Sabryn to you. I mean I know it won’t even be an issue considering what you are doing to her. And look at where Ty is now, in jail. “

Bryan is furious knowing he is defeated just walks off.

Sabryn

“Wow Mike. You were amazing. That was amazing.”

Mike

“I’m not going to let Bryan hurt you no more.” He grabs her hands through the bars. She leans in and kisses him.

Sabryn

“Mike, I think I’m falling in love with you.”

Divine Design

Natalia pushes the Bryan’s baby stroller into her new office. She sits at her desk and thinks about what Ria said.

“Bryan should hire you a nanny.” Sabryn’s son begins to cry and Natalia scream out in frustration.

“Shut up damn it!”

“I’m not going to deal with this. I need time to make sure Rufus doesn’t undercut me here at DD. And I have to be ready in case Sabryn is set free. I can’t do all this and raise her damn brat. And now I got Diego back in town playing games with me. I know he’s up to something.” Natalia logs onto her computer and decides to place an add on Craig’s list for a nanny.

Court is now back in session in Downtown Pasadena.

Rufus, Sabryn, Mike, Bryan, Karim, Ladonna, and Alexis are all in attendance.

Judge

“State, call your next witness.”

Jack, standing up

“Your honor, my next witness is a doctor and has an emergency at the hospital. I ask for a delay until tomorrow.”

Judge

“I see. Does the defense wish to call anybody in the mean time? We can at least get that out the way. This trial is taking to long and taking up to much tax dollars.”

Lisa

“My pleasure your honor. I call Rufus Taylor to the stand.” Sabryn smile sand looks at Alexis. Alexis rolls her eyes at Sabrina and looks away. She lays her head on Karim’s shoulder and holds his hand. Ladonna notices this sweet scene of romance and is not impressed.

“Do all that while you can Alexis. Rufus is about to expose you.”

Rufus, struts himself up to the witness stand. The chatter increases, as people in the courtroom don’t know what to make of this cross dresser. Rufus is sworn in and Lisa approaches him.

Lisa

“How shall I address thee?”

Rue

“I would like to be called Miss Rue. I’m a bad ass Bitch around Pasadena now. So I need to be respected in that capacity. So it’s Miss Rue.”

Lisa

“I’m impressed. You know I remember you from trial’s before. You have come a long way Miss Rue. I must say you look nice.”

Rue

“Thank you. It’s been a long time coming. And I must say this is only the beginning.”

Alexis standing up

“Objection, this is supposed to be about Sabryn killing Ashley. I don’t pay my tax dollars to hear about this trannys trials and tribulations. My sister is dead; she was assassinated, being shot 8 times in front of police. I want justice damn it!”

Karim pulls Alexis back down as the judge pounds on her gavel.

“One more outburst from you Miss Jones and you will find your self behind bars.”

Ladonna

“She’s getting nervous.”

Alexis

“Don’t start Ladonna. I have Karim and you don’t It’s that simple. Now just leave us the hell alone. Stop stalking us.”

Karim

“She’s right Donna. Just please leave us alone.”

Ladonna, with a tear forming in her eye,

“You’re going to be so sorry Karim.”

Lisa

“Your honor, I have a method. This is all leading into my point. I am setting it up. Please indulge me.”

Hatchett

“I’ll allow it.”

Lisa

“Thank you ya honor.” Lisa now walks over to the jury.

Lisa

“Miss Rue, could you tell us about your relations with the deceased Ashley Jones?” Everyone in the court room leans closer, on the edge of their seats to hear what Miss Rue is about to say. No one is waiting more intently then Alexis and Ladonna.

Miss Rue

“I sure can. My relations with Ashley were not pleasant. Ashley kidnapped me and held me hostage. She held me hostage in a place where Mona was. Mona, Abe, and Sharon. It was terrible. It as something straight out of a Saw movie. Ashley kept talking about getting revenge on Sabryn and how she stalked her for months disguised as a lady in red. At the same time Mona was the lady in black. Ashley kept talking about winning Bryan. I even knew that Ashley stole Natalia’s baby, making Natalia believe that her child died when she was shot. Ashley is also the one who shot Natalia at the fashion show. You know the one where Jodie told the world she had HIV. Ashley is evil. Pure evil. Straight from hell. She even used a chain saw to sodomize me. The bitch was so insane she thought she was Jason Voorhees.”

Lisa

“Wow. It seems the state left all this information out. Ashley has a record of unstable behavior. Ashley was a demented criminal herself. A menace to society. Maybe it’s a good thing justice was served with her death.” The courtroom is outrage. Alexis burst into tears and Karim holds her.

Alexis

“Oh Karim. How can they just demonize my sister this way? She’s dead. She’s not her to defend herself. This is all so terrible.”

Karim

“It’s ok Lexie. I’m here for you.”

Ladonna

“Not for long.”

Lisa, walking over to Rue

“Can you tell us if Ashley was working alone? Was there anybody who was helping her?”

The courtroom is dead silent

Rue

“Yes.” Chatter erupts once more. Alexis’s mouth drops and she begins to sweat. Karim looks at Alexis and Ladonna can do nothing but smile out of enjoyment... The time has come.

Lisa

“Is the person who helped Ashley in this courtroom right now?” A pause is had. Alexis has a burning sensation in her stomach. Karim begins to get uncomfortable as he watches Alexis squirm. He begins to wonder if everything Ladonna has been telling him for months is true.

Rue

“Yes they are!”

Alexis and the courtroom are stunned. Alexis doesn’t know what to do. She is about to be exposed. She wants to stand up and stop the proceedings but she knows if she does it will be an admission of guilt and she’ll lose Karim for sure.

“This is not supposed to happen. This is not part of the deal I made with Rufus. He’s going to betray me. I am going down!” She thinks to herself.

Lisa

“Miss Rue can you identify the person who was helping Ashley? Who is the person that helped kidnapped you and also knew about Mona and all the crimes against the Williams family?” Sabryn, Mike, Bryan, Karim and Ladonna turn and look at Alexis.

Alexis

“Oh My God.!” She stands up and gives Rufus a look.

Rufus smiles at her

“It was her. Alexis Jones. She knew the whole time Ashley was alive and knew the goings on about Mona. It was Alexis Jones!”

Ladonna

“Alexis, has finally been exposed!”

The stakes are extremely high as we begin in Downtown Pasadena, the courthouse.

It’s a scene of chatter and confusion. Sabryn stares Alexis down as she takes off her huge black sunglasses and her big hat on the witness stand. She is acting like a diva shaking her hair all around like she is in a sauve professionals hair commercial. She looks up and sees Sabryn looking at her with content and she flashes a smile at her. Sabryn rolls her eyes and whispers in Lisa’s ear.

“Her testimonies won’t do me any good. She is going to have me convicted.”

Lisa

“Quit being a scary Mary. Never concede to defeat. Not with me as your attorney.”

Alexis feels as though she is on top of her game, finally about to send Sabryn to jail for killing her sister. She has a glow about her. That is until she raises her right hand, she sees Karim standing in the back of the courtroom. Standing right behind him is Rufus. Then Ladonna walks in. Alexis shakes her head as all three take seats to listen to Alexis’ testimony.

Alexis thinks to herself

“I’m under oath and I am going to have to lie today in order to keep my man. I have to make it through this trial. I have to have Karim. I just hope Rufus keeps his end of our bargain and not expose me today in this damn court. I will for sure loose Karim. I worked to hard to lose my love now.”

Jack stands up and approaches Alexis.

It seems everyone from Sabryn to Ladonna to Rufus all have some sort of stake in the proceedings today.

Episode 140: Sabryn’s Trial Continues

“State your name for the record.”

Alexis

“Alexis Jones, but its Miss Jones to you if you are nasty. I am known as a Jones’ girl.”

Lisa

“Objection! She’s wasting our time and tax dollars by giving long winded, fragmented unnecessary words ya honor. All she had to say was Alexis Jones.”

Judge

“Sustained. Don’t be coy Ms. Jones.”

Jack

“Alexis, the deceased, Ashley was your sister correct?”

Alexis, who forces a tear before she speaks, knowing it will gain the jury’s sympathy

“Yes. She was all I had until she was brutally assassinated.”

Jack

“What can you tell us about this rivalry between your sister and Sabryn?”

Alexis

“Bryan cheated on my sister with Sabryn. It’s not as though everyone is portraying it. Ashley had Bryan first.”

Sabryn

“That’s a lie!” She screams standing up in an out rage.

Lisa pulls Sabryn back down in her seat.

“Calm down, it’s ok, let her say what she has to say. She’s setting herself up. Trust me I got this. I’m about to have my way with her.”

Sabryn

“Have you’re way? What are we going to Burger King? I don’t eat fast food, what does that mean?”

Lisa

“Wow, it means I am about to wipe the floor with her face.”

Sabryn

“Humph”

Alexis continues her show

“Sabryn attacked my sister at the wedding. It was so ugly. In fact, Sabryn was the main reason why Ashley was runned over your honor. Sabryn was drunk and crashed into Bryan’s car, which then lead to Bryan running over Ashley. She wanted to kill my sister way back then. To get her out the picture so she could have Bryan for herself. Sabryn is a monster. She has everyone played. Sabryn has attacked Ashley on numerous occasions. “ Alexis really puts on the water works. Jack hands her a tissue as Alexis lets a loud moan.

Ladonna

“So fake.”

Karim

“Is she?”

LaDonna

“Hell to the yes. Can’t you see that? Oh I forgot you’re so blinded. I don’t know what she has over you.”

Karim

“She is having my child!”

Ladonna

“Is it yours really?”

Karim

“We will find out after this trial. She’s getting a test done to determine the paternity.”

Ladonna

“And then what? If it’s not yours you’re going to come back to me?”

Karim

“Yes. I love you.”

Ladonna

“It won’t be that easy. You really hurt me.” Karim just looks at her but then focuses back on the trial.

Jack

“That’s all I have for the witness.” Jack sits down as Lisa takes her turn with the witness. Lisa stares down Alexis as if trying to intimidate her. Or at least let her know that play time is over. Alexis can sense that it’s a new ball game and quickly gets rid of her sob story mode and switches to razor sharp mode. She knows it’s about to be a battle and she has to be careful as to what she says so she wont loose Karim. Alexis is now nervous.

Across the street, at the Jail

Jenn walks in to visit Ty. She walks up to his cell.

Ty

“Why are you here?”

Jenn

“I thought I’d share some info with you.”

Ty

“I don’t want to share anything with you.”

Jenn

“I thought you might like to know that Santino has taken over your operations.”

Ty

“Is that right?” How do you know?”

Jenn

“The bastard told me himself.”

Ty

“I see. And why are you telling me?”

Jenn

“I just thought you might like to know. In case you wanted to do something about it.”

Ty

“Do something about it? Isn’t he your lover? Didn’t you cheat on me with him? Why would you want me to do something to him? Let me guess. He dumped you?”

Jenn

“He doesn’t deserve to bank on what you created. “

Ty

“Why do you care so much? Did you care when you opened your legs to him like a seven eleven, open all night.”

Jenn

“Where do you get off talking to me like that? You shot me remember!? I never pressed charges against or turned you in for that.”

Ty

“It was an accident. You were at the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Jenn

“And that’s all you have to say about that? That’s your excuse? You can do better than that Ty. “

Ty

“Jenn, I wish you would leave.”

Jenn looking at her one time lover in the eyes,

“Ty, I loved you. I left Mike for you.”

Ty

“No, you left Mike for the money I had. You only wanted my money.”

Jenn

“But I grew to love you Ty. I loved you and you loved me. Where did we go wrong?”

Ty

“Do you really have to ask that? “WE” went wrong when you had an affair with Santino. Jenn I feel nothing for you. In fact you are an enemy of mine. Just want you to know that yes I am locked up for now, I won’t be in here forever. And when I get out of here, you and Santino both will pay for double crossing me.”

Jenn

“In your dreams Sly Ty. You’ll be in here for the rest of your life. I tried to extend an arm to you but I see you don’t appreciate it. So go ahead and be lonesome.”

Ty

“Then be on your way so I can get back to planning my revenge for Pasadena.” Jenn just walks off as Ty sits down thinking about his ex henchman Santino taking over his empire.

“One day, I will reclaim what’s mine. And people will pay.” He says to himself.

Back in Court

Alexis prepares to give her testimony

Lisa

“You painted a nasty picture of my client.”

Alexis

“Well the shoe fits.”

Lisa

“I see you weren’t here when I had Bryan on the stand. You see he used those cutesy remarks and I shut it down. So let me advise you not to be cute with me. This will be ugly for you I can assure you of that.”

Karim has a look in interest after hearing what Lisa just said. Ladonna smiles and whispers to Karim

“Maybe today we will learn the truth about your precious Alexis.”

Karim

“Be quiet Donna.”

Lisa

“Now regarding the accident where your sister was mowed down by Bryan. It seems you have left a few things out.”

Alexis

“It was such a long time ago. Like three years. Maybe I left a few things out.”

Lisa

“Oh you did. Some very important details.” Lisa walks over to the jury so they can hear her loud and clear and so that the next round evidence hits the jury over the head.

Lisa

“I’ll start with the fact, that one you were driving a U haul truck that slammed into the back of Bryan’s car and then therefore, after receiving the force from the U-Haul ramming of Sabryn’s car, ran over Ashley. So in effect, one could blame you for your sister’s first supposed death?”

Alexis

“I did not kill my sister. Objection your honor.”

The courtroom laughs at Alexis’s objection.

Judge

“You can’t object.”

Alexis

“I can, and I will and I just did. I did not kill my sister.”

Lisa

“You hear that jury, Alexis drove the U-Haul. Alexis was the one who was driving the U-Haul that set this ugly tragedy into motion. The force of impact was so great, Sabryn which was following Bryan that dark and stormy night, crashed into Bryan’s car. That whole accident would have never took place if it wasn’t for Alexis. And I also want to make clear, that Miss Jones did not step up at the time and admit that crucial piece of information. She let Sabryn and Bryan go to trial for it. It seems Alexis is a shady character.”

Alexis

“You can’t just say things like that. Let’s stick to facts.” She says as she begins to get very uncomfortable. Karim notices this and Ladonna can do nothing but smile as she sees Alexis under fire.

Lisa

“You want to deal in facts? We can do that. I got another fact for you. Is it true, you knew for a long time, before the rest of Pasadena that Ashley was alive and stalking Sabryn? And not only did you know, you helped her in her diabolical schemes. You assisted Ashley in kidnapping Rufus Taylor and Natalia’s baby with Bryan. In fact you even knew that Kelis Williams to the law, known as Mona to her family, and the Lady in Black to her victims. You knew of all the evil doings of Ashley and Mona and did nothing to stop them. Is that true?”

The courtroom is dead silent. You could hear someone’s stomach hunger pains the courtroom is so silent. Everyone leans up in his or her chairs to hear what Alexis’ answer will be.

Alexis wipes sweat from her head and looks down.

“No. I did not know that Ashley was alive until Sabryn’s wedding. And I never knew that Mona was doing what she was doing.” The courtroom lets out a gasp and chatter once again erupts. Rufus is stunned that Alexis has just lied under oath.

Ladonna

“She’s lying.

Karim

“Donna just give it up. Alexis is under oath. She would perjure herself.”

Donna

“To keep you yes she would.”

Lisa, walking towards the witness

“I’ll remind you that you are under oath Miss Jones. Do you want to answer the question again?”

Alexis

“I stand by my answer.”

Lisa

“You know you will go to jail for perjury right?”

Alexis

“No need for me to worry about that. I did not lie.”

Lisa

“Wow. We’ll see. Witness may stand down.” Alexis is relieved and puts her glasses and her hat back on and leaves with out as so much as looking at anyone. She storms out the courtroom not wanting to make contact with anyone, she just needs some fresh air to exhale. Sabryn smiles, as she knows Alexis just lied under oath. Karim is baffled by what just happened. Ladonna looks at Rufus to see what his reaction is. Ladonna knows that Alexis lied and it’s up to Rufus to expose the truth. She walks over to him to see what she is going to do.

Judge

“Court will recess until tomorrow morning. Court is adjourned.” Mike hugs Sabryn before she is handcuffed. Bryan and Natalia both notice this and Bryan is not happy.

Mike

“It’s looking real good for you. Soon you will be free”

Sabryn

“Thank you Mike.”

Mike

“I’ll be by to see you later.” Sabryn is cuffed and escorted away. He turns around and sees Bryan giving him a dirty look. Mike smiles, having dealt with this kind of situation before with Ty and Jenn. He brushes it off and leaves the courtroom.

Natalia, to Bryan

“Are you upset that Mike and Sabryn seem to be moving closer?”

Bryan

“Why does it matter to you? I love Sabryn and I always have. I’m not going to lie about that. What we have Natalia is a business arrangement. We are only together because of my sons.”

Natalia

“If you want to keep your sons, you’ll stay with me and forget about Sabryn. Bryan if you leave me, I’m taking my son with me. You can have your other son. I only care about mine.”

Bryan

“I’m starting to think what we did was a mistake.”

Natalia

“In what way?”

Bryan

“It’s beginning to look like Sabryn is going to beat this murder rap. And once she does she’s going to try to get her son back.”

Natalia

“Right, that’s right. That’s why we have to make it harder for her to do that.”

Natalia

Ladonna walking up to Rufus

“You know Alexis lied under oath?”

Rufus

“I do.”

“So when you get on the stand, are you going to lie to or are you going to set the record straight?”

“I guess we will have to find out. Tomorrow is my day for the spot light and I plan to use that to my full advantage.”

Donna

“I hope that means you are going to exposé Alexis to Karim.”

Rufus

“I don’t have a man so I am not in the business of helping you get yours. What do I get? A one-night stand with Karim would be nice; I hear big dicks run in that family? You know, he might my DL Lover.”

Donna

“Excuse me? What are you talking about?”

Rufus

“Some one has been hitting me up on the chat line claiming they are on the Down Low and wants no one to know. He has yet to reveal himself to me. But with all this stress you and Alexis are putting him through, maybe it’s him turning to me for comfort.”

Ladonna

“Uhm yea ok. I just hope you don’t lie under oath.” Ladonna then walks away hoping that tomorrow will be Alexis’ day of reckoning. She thinks back on her last fight with Alexis and kicking her in her stomach a few nights ago.

“She seems to be ok. If she lost her baby I’m sure I would have heard about it by now. I didn’t mean to do that but she took me there.” Ladonna thinks to herself.

She then thinks when Alexis tore Ashley’s diary from her hands and tore it up.

“I know the truth. I know that Ashley knew the whole time her sister was alive. And if Rufus doesn’t tell the truth then I will. I will expose you Alexis.” Ladonna vows as she drives off.

As Rufus is about to leave the courthouse she is spun around by the diva of the day.

Rufus

“You better watch your hands Alexis. One of my breast might have popped out.”

Alexis

“Oh please you are trying to hard. I am just here to remind you of the deal we have. I gave you controlling interest of my fashion house with the understanding that you will not expose me at this trial.”

Rufus

“I’m not dumb. I know what I agreed to.”

Alexis

“Well good. You better hold your end of the bargain up. I cannot be exposed to Karim and lose him. “

Rufus

“What is it with the women of Pasadena and their men?”

Alexis

“I beg your pardon?”

Rufus

“I was just having a conversation with Ladonna and you two are in heated war over Karim. Do he got it going on like that?”

Alexis

“Damn that Bitch Ladonna! Always breathing down my neck just trying so hard to get my man. It’s ok. She will not win. I have a plan. If all else fail I have a back up plan. So I am warning you Rufus Taylor. Cross me if you want to, I have a back up plan for all my enemies if I go down tomorrow.” And with that threat, Alexis leaves the courthouse. Rufus just brushes it off and leaves as well.

Divine Design

Natalia walks into Alexis’ office with both Bryans in a double stroller. They both are crying outrageously.

Natalia

“Damn it I can’t take much more of this! I can never do anything because Sabryn’s big headed son is a cry baby.” She walks over to Sabryn’s son and holds him and rocks him in her arms to try and make him calm down. But it doesn’t work. Bryan Jr the 1^st keeps wailing away.

Natalia

“Damn you are a cry baby just like your mother. “ Natalia just sits him back down in the stroller. Just then Rufus walks in the office.

“What the hell are you doing in my office with these two annoying brats?”

Natalia

“This is Alexis’ office and I’m here working on my new line. Why is that any of your business? For that matter why are you here?”

Rufus

“I’m about to do some error correction. First of all this is my office now. Alexis happily handed it over to me.”

Natalia

“Your office?” She says inquisitively.

Rufus

“With these whining ass babies I bet you didn’t hear me. YES MY OFFICE! Now get these brats and get the hell out!”

Natalia

“How did you get this office? You work here?”

Rufus

“Yes Bitch. This is my company now. I won Divine Design. Alexis is a minor stake holder now.”

Natalia

“That’s funny I own stake too.”

Rufus

“Doesn’t matter to me. I won a controlling share. And get this, I’m coming out with my own line, debuting at the DD winter fashion show.”

Natalia

“Alexis promised me my own line as well. I have been working hard on my designs. This is not fair. How the hell did you get this company?”

Rufus

“I’m good Bitch. That’s how. I can get down like the rest of you bitches here in Pasadena. I’m a bad Bitch too. I had your man, and now I got the company you want. I seem to have a winning streak against you.”

Natalia

“You must not know about me Rufus. I’m not to be messed with. Just ask Dahlia. She’s dead. That’s what happens when people get in my way. I have my own line coming out and you better not interfere with that.”

Rufus

“I don’t think so. You see I call the shots around here now. You will not tell me what to do I will tell you what to do. I have the power to shelve your line. So you better begin to respect me. I have control now. I’m in power. You will bow down to me.”

Natalia

“Never!”

Rufus

“We’ll see. Get these damn crying babies out of here. I can’t take all this whining. I’m going to get security and by the time I get back, your ass better be gone.“ Miss Rue leaves, slamming the door behind her. The babies cry even more. Natalia is frustrated and walks over and picks up her own son this time. She cradles him in her arms.

“Shh boo bear. Momma is here. I know that drag Queen scared you. Don’t worry; momma wont let him do that again. I’ll teach you a new word my son. Can you say fag? Go ahead my son you can do it. Say fag. That’s exactly what Rufus is, a fag.” Her son quiets down as Sabryn’s son is left in the stroller screaming his head off. Natalia hears the door close and she turns around and almost drops her son when she sees Diego Serrano. Natalia puts her quiet son in the stroller.

Diego

“Well look at you. You’re a mother now. “

Natalia

“That’s right I am.”

Diego

“I can’t believe God has blessed a murderer with kids.”

Natalia

“Well he did. And I will do anything to protect my son. So what the hell are you doing here Diego?”

Diego

“Oh me? I’m just passing by.”

Natalia

“Passing by? I don’t buy that. I don’t want any trouble. Wait, I know. You are here for Sabryn’s trial aren’t you?”

Diego

“Don’t worry about that. I wanted to get a cheap thrill and I knew you would squirm if I showed my face so here I am. You did not disappoint.”

Natalia

“Diego, I’m not the same person as when you left town”

Diego

“Oh please Natalia. Mother hood for you is only a mask. You and I both know deep down you are shallow, selfish and evil person. You stole Mark from Dahlia, making him believe she was dead. You even paid Dahlia’s cellmate Suga to stab her to death. You see I still know all about that. You are vile Natalia.”

Natalia

“I get what I want Diego. Mother hood is no a mask for me. It’s made me a lioness. I will protect my family at all cost. I have a family now. I have everything I wanted. So don’t you cause any trouble for me. I am warning you.”

Diego

“I don’t take threats from you. Not only that, I am not scared of you. Just remember, I have nothing to loose. And also remember, all chickens come home to roost. Your time my dear is coming.” Diego then leaves after delivering his ominous warning to Natalia.

Natalia

“Oh my God. Damn you Diego. I have come to far now to lose my life and my family to you. What the hell are you doing here? I have everything I want, a company, my own fashion line, Sabryn’s man, and a beautiful son. But that’s not the case. Things seem they are turning against me. I will not lose what I have. I will protect it at all cost.“

Downtown Pasadena, the Courthouse.

Sabaryn is escorted in cuffs into the courtroom. She sees, Bryan siting with Natalia, with both Bryan Jr’s sitting behind District Attorney Jack. Standing next to Sabryn is her Power Attorney Lisa Raye.

Sabryn

“The court is packed.”

Lisa

“It sure is. You pay that no never mind you hear? We just need to focus on beating these charges.”

Sabryn

“You think we will be able to do that?”

Lisa

“I have no doubt in my mind. I never lost a case and I don’t plan to now. I got a few surprises up my sleeve.”

Sabryn

“Good. I need to be free so I can get my son back from my evil enemies and strike back hard at the people who have done me wrong.” She says looking at Bryan and Natalia. Natalia kisses Bryan to give a show for Sabryn. Mike blocks her view by walking over to her.

Mike

“Hi, Sorry I am late. I had something I had to take care of.” Mike leans down and hugs her. Bryan is stunned that Sabryn is hugging on another man. Natalia looks at Bryan and sees he is jealous and decides to move in so Bryan doesn’t want to stray back to Sabryn.

“It looks like your Bitch moved on with Mike.”

Bryan

“So I see.”

Natalia

“Don’t worry about it. We are a family now. We have done the right thing. You have done the right thing for you sons. There is no way Sabryn is beating this murder wrap. Especially with me testifying.”

Bryan

“I hope you are right. Me being with you is contingent Sabryn going to jail.”

Sabryn

Oh Mike, I am so glad you are here to support me. I don’t know what I would do without you.”

Mike

“I care for you Sabryn. I told you that. We are going to get through this together.”

Judge Hatchett walks in and the bailiff orders everybody to rise. The judge takes her seat as then everyone is ordered to sit down.

Judge

“We are here in the matter of the State of California vs. defendant, Sabryn Genet. We will now here opening arguments from the DA.”

Jack clears his throat and buttons his blazer up as he stands up and approaches the jury.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen. Over the course of the next few days we will hear your peers testify to the fact that the defendant, Sabryn has had a long history of some sort of rivalry with the deceased, Ashley Jones. It was some sort of a love triangle torn straight out of the pages of your favorite soap opera. There was Sex, there was treachery, envy, affairs, and yes folks even murder. I ask you to listen closely to your peers’ words and then decide if justice will be served. You are the voice for Ashley now. She’s not here to speak for herself. But together, we shall find the truth.” Jack then sits down.

Lisa gets up from her desk and walks over to the jury. She looks at them.

“I am not as poetic as my counterpart. I just like to get to the point and not be around the bush. You will see that in coming days. My client is a victim of terrorist activity. Ashley was a terrorist and the people I will call upon to testify will confirm that fact. You will come to see that this was nothing but a crime of passion. The DA was right; it is torn out the pages of a soap opera. You will see my client had a moment of temporary insanity.” Lisa then sits down as both Natalia rolls her eyes at Lisa’s last statement.

Judge

“Jack, call your first witness.”

Jack

“The state calls Bryan Datillo to the stand.” The court room gets dead silent as Bryan walks up to take the stand. Bryan and Sabryn share a look before Bryan is sworn in. Everyone wonders what Bryan is going to say.

Alexis is rushed into the ER. Alexis opens her eyes and sees a man with a very familiar face.

“Deigo?”

Deigo

“Yes.”

Alexis

“My God. What are you doing here?”

Deigo

“I have some unfinished business here in Pasadena. I was able to work here while I am in town which may turn out to be quite a while.”

Alexis

“I think of Ashley when I see you. What brings you back here to town?”

Deigo

“That’s for me to know and soon you will find out.”

Alexis

“I hope it has nothing to do with Sabryn’s trial today.”

Deigo

“Alexis why were you brought in here?”

Alexis

“I was attacked. I need to make sure my baby is ok.”

Deigo pulls out his stethoscope and puts it on Alexis’ belly.

Deigo

“Well the baby still has a heartbeat. I’ll run a sonogram to make sure.” Deigo prepares the machine as Alexis thinks of her catfight with her arch enemy Ladonna. She then thinks of Donna telling Karim about the truth that she really helped out Ashley and Mona.

“She has no proof. I tore it up. He won’t leave me.” But Alexis remember that Rufus still knows.

“But we made a deal. I hand over control of Divine Design and he would keep my secret. He better not betray me or I’ll lose Karim for sure. I have to have an insurance policy to make sure that Ladonna doesn’t get my man. If I can’t have him then she won’t either.” She looks at Deigo as he approaches her with the sonogram machine.

Deigo

“I don’t like how you are looking at me. That’s the same look Ashley used to give me when she had a bad idea.”

Alexis

“Well she is my sister, we are the Jones girls. You really came through for my sister you know. I really want to say I appreciate that.”

Deigo

“Well look at her now. She’s dead. Unless you know something I don’t.”

Alexis

“You know as much as I do. As far as I know my sister is dead and gone. If she is alive she has not contacted me. “

Deigo

“I guess that’s a good thing.”

Alexis

“Yes, now listen. I need you to help me just like you helped Ashley. There is a nice cash bonus and incentives in it for you.”

Deigo

“With the way the economy is going, I am never opposed to making an extra buck. This sounds like I am not going to like it.”

Alexis

“If you can help Ashley come back from the dead then you can help me with what I need. Now here is what we are going to do.” Alexis begins to tell Deigo her plan to keep Ladonna away from Karim forever.

Back in Court.

Jack approaches Bryan on the witness stand.

“If I have done my homework correctly, you were with Sabryn first but had an affair with the deceased, Ashley Jones.”

Bryan, with his head down

“Correct.”

Jack

“Why? Why did you cheat on Sabryn?”

Bryan

“We weren’t happy. She was so wrapped up in work. We had no romance. She was mean at times.”

Jack

“Mean you say?”

Bryan

“Yes she could be cruel. I found a woman who gave me attention. She satisfied my needs.”

Jack

“And then Sabryn found out and then what happened?”

Bryan

“Sabryn was furious. They fought a few times.”

Jack

“So Sabryn and Ashley have a history of violence against one another?”

Bryan, unable to look at Sabryn knowing his testimony is not making it look good for her

“Yes that is correct.”

Jack

“No further questions.” Jack sits down as Lisa stands up

Lisa

“Bryan, you say Sabryn has a history of violence with Ashley.”

Bryan

“That’s what I said.”

Lisa

“Yes or no please thanks. Is it also true that Ashley has a history of violence against you?”

Bryan

“Yes. She has stalked me with a large butcher knife. She kidnapped my other son with Natalia.” He says pointing at her so everyone can see. Natalia stands up and waves at everyone and then blows a kiss at Bryan.

Sabryn

“Bitch!”

Judge

“I’m sorry; did you say something Ms. Genet?”

Sabryn

“Oh no sorry your honor, I was clearing my throat.”

Judge

“Good now let me clear my throat. I will not tolerate any outburst in my court. Just ask Sister Patterson.”

Lisa

“Ok enough with the side bar conversations. Bryan is it also true that you were the one that brought Ashley in Sabryn’s life. Sabryn would have never known Ashley if you had not had an affair with her.”

Bryan, almost whispering

“I guess you could day that.”

Lisa

“Oh no. I’m going to need you speak loudly so every can hear. You just were running that mouth a few minutes ago. But you see I shut it down. Now answer the question, yes or no? Sabryn would have never come in contact with Ashley if it wasn’t for your affair with Ashley right?”

Bryan, screaming

“YES!!! Damn it YES!”

Hatchett pounding her gavel

“Not today. I am not having it. Lisa I don’t appreciate that confrontational attitude. It’s professional.”

Lisa

“With all due respect ya honor, I have not lost a case. My record and my methods speak for themselves. Thank you very much. I’m done with the witness. The court room is shocked that Lisa has turned Sabryn’s case around. Lisa sits down by Sabryn

“Wow that was great.” Sabryn looks back at Natalia and gives her a smile.

Natalia

“It’s not over yet dummy.” She then flicks her off. Sabryn just brushes it off and chuckles.

Lisa

“Don’t worry Sabryn. This is going to be easier that I thought. You will walk out of here a free woman.”

Sabryn

“Good. I got to get Natalia. I am going to war with that [!@#$%^&*].”

For the Birds Mental Rehabilitation Centre

DC walks over to the main nurses’ station where Nurse Maxine is working the unit again.

DC

“Damn Miss Lady. I know you make good money as many hours you be working here.”

Maxine

“I’m the Director of Nursing here. So yes I do have to put a lot of time in here. Is that why you’re attracted to me? I look like I make good money?”

DC

“No at all. I don’t need your money. I got my own job making good money. As a matter of I will own my own company. You seem to have this preconception about me. I’m here to prove all that wrong.”

Maxine

“Is that’s so Mr. Williams?”

DC

“Sho you right. I’m a boss.”

Maxine

“I’m not impressed.”

DC

“I see you’re going to be a challenge. I like that. It makes you even sexier.”

Maxine, chuckling

“Enough Mr. Williams. I have work to do. You here to see Lynn?”

DC

“No actually I am here to see Sister Patterson.”

Maxine gives a him a look,

“Uh huh. I see. You see one the one day then the other the next. Is that how you roll DC?”

DC

“At least you’re calling me by my first name. And I made you laugh. See I think we are getting somewhere. I am here to see the Sister about our son. We do have a few children together. We will always be a part of each other’s lives.”

Maxine

“And I understand you have a few kids with Lynn as well?”

DC

“I do. I am not ashamed of it either. Yes I have kids by two different women. They both will be a part of my life. Will that be a problem for you Miss Lady?”

Maxine laughs

“Why would it be a problem? This isn’t going anywhere. I’m not interested. So it doesn’t matter to me how many baby momma’s you got DC. I’m not interested.”

DC

“Well you gave it a title. We have “this” thing going on. I can deal with that for now. I’ll see you at the breast cancer event. I’ma show you a real fine time.”

Maxine rolling her eyes as she buzzes DC back to see Sister Patterson

“Whatever.”

DC walks into the Sisters room and sees her starring at the wall sitting on her bed.

“No straight jacket today?”

Sister

“No DC not today I have been good. I have become a new person. “

DC

“Oh God here we go. Who are you now?”

Patterson

“I am me. I am just Patterson.”

DC

“Just Patterson? What the hell that mean?”

Patterson

“I don’t know my God no more. He has let me down. I am too weak to fight Don. I don’t have it in me no more. I have lost everything and for what? A God that lets me down? So I renounce God.”

DC

“What kind of drugs is Maxine and nem feeding you girl? This straight talk from you is scary.”

Patterson

“Isn’t this what you all wanted? You all think I’m so called “crazy” There are evil forces and they are going to get me. Why? Because no one believes in me or willing to help me fight. So I will just die to prove how right I was all along.”’

DC

“There it is. There’s the Almighty Sister Patterson.”

Patterson

“I don’t think so. What brings you here?”

DC

“It’s about our son.”

Patterson

“Karim? What’s going on?” She says looking at him

DC

“He’s become a drunk. He hit Lauren in the head with a Patron bottle and got arrested. I bailed his punk ass out and then had the nerve to tell his man to burn in hell or something like that. I am trying to be there for him and he just shuts me out and disrespects me and I am tired of it. You know as well as I do Pat how I get down. I’ma boss.”

Patterson

“Don’t you do anything to my son.”

DC

“He better start respecting me. You better get his ass together. Because he don’t want to see me. I’m tired of being nice. It’s getting me no where. Karim is out of control and he is about to lose everything. He damn sho going to lose this custody case with baby Kevin.”

Patterson

“I have to get out of here. Lauren can’t raise my grandson. I will not let my family be raised by a trashy slut like Lauren.”

DC

“Don’t worry about that. I got that handled.”

Patterson

“Don’t do anything to my son DC. I am warning you.”

DC

“You better warn Karim. I’ma boss and soon he is going to find out. One way or another he is going to show me respect I am going to put this family back together. You better talk to Karim before it’s too late. I’m coming for him. “ DC leaves.

Patterson

“You better not touch my son DC!!” She screams after him.

Back at the Court House

Natalia takes the stand after being sworn in. She has a stare down with Sabryn as Jack walks over to her.

Jack

“Please tell the court the history of your relationship with Sabryn Genet.”

Natalia

“One word can sum it up. Bitch.”

Lisa

“Objection your honor.”

Judge

“I’m going to ask the witness to refrain from that sort of language in my courtroom.

Lisa

“Try that again.”

Natalia

“Well it started a few years ago when I was working in her sweat shop downtown. You know, a super outlet store of her old and expired fashion house. I had been with her for so long she let me sell a few of my own designs and beauty products in the store as an incentive for being with her so long and for being the number one store she had. That was because of my designs. We out sold all of Sabryns stores by double and that was because of my products. She reneged on an agreement to help me to start my own line with SG and she used the designs I turned in and used them as her own.

Sabryn standing up in an outrage

“They were all trashy and cheap. I would never do that. Don’t lie your under oath!”

Lisa calms Sabryn down as the Judge pounds her gavel.

“This will not be a side show, One more outburst from anyone and they will be found in contempt and will be held in custody for 24 hours. Now proceed please.”

Natalia

“Anyway, before I was so rudely interrupted. No your honor maybe it was a good thing Sabryn had an outburst. You can see her hot temper. She’s evil. She’s a thief. And she’s a bad mother. All my encounters have been very unpleasant with Sabryn. Your honor, it doesn’t surprise me in the least that Sabryn killed Ashley in cold blood. She even attacked Ashley at her wedding with a baby in a stroller right next to her. In fact she attacked me a few times, slapping me in the face. She is known for violence.”

Jack

“That will be all.”

Lisa, turning to Sabryn

“I know it looks bad, but let me do my thing, I’m about to rip her apart.” Lisa than stands up and approaches Natalia

“I’m not going to play no games. I’m going to get right to it. You painted a pretty vile picture of my client.”

Natalia

“She’s a vile person.”

Lisa

“Compared to you? You’re not perfect are you? Sleeping with Sabryn’s man Bryan and had his baby?”

Natalia

“Yes so what. It was worth it. Bryan has good love.” She says looking at him and blows him a kiss. Bryan rolls his eyes and sinks down in his chair.

Lisa

“You slept with Sabryn’s man. How do you think she was supposed to react? In fact the paternity at one point was in question, it could have been a man’s named Mark Mortimer? Whom turned out to be bisexual having past romantic relations with a post operation Transsexual Rufus Taylor?”

Jack

“Objection your honor, this has no relevance with the current proceedings.”

Lisa

“You’re honor I am trying to characterize this witness as well as her boyfriend for a pattern of provoked behavior.”

Judge

“I’ll allow it.”

Lisa

“Answer the question. Is what I just said is true?”

Natalia

“Yes. The paternity of my son was in question at one point in time.”

Lisa

“So you had a one night stand with Bryan?”

Natalia

“I sure did and it was the best sex I’ve ever had.”

The jury gasps and Sabryn utters the word Bitch under her breath.

Lisa

“Wow your cold. What are you going to do when my girl get out of here?”

Natalia

“She killed Ashley Jones. Shot her eight times in front of police. It’s no way she’s getting released. I have her son and her man. “

Lisa walks over to the jury

“Now you see, this sounds like a woman with a devious plan. She’s no angel. She lied about the paternity of her child. Because she lied her baby was kidnapped by the deceased and passed off as her own. There’s a pattern here. Bryan is a cheater. Sabryn was a woman who just wanted her man to herself. Is that a crime? He lied to her; lead to her to believe everything was ok. But in fact he was being a dirty dog, cheating on a woman who attacked Sabryn. Sabryn is a victim of circumstances.”

Jack

“Objection! The trial is not over. She’s giving closing statements.”

Judge

“Sustained.”

Lisa

“Trying to let our peers know what kind of things Sabryn was dealing with.” Lisa takes her seat.

Sabryn

“That was great. You really turned the tables around.”

Judge

“Witness may stand down.”

Sabryn smiles at Natalia as she steps down, having won their latest battle.

Judge

“Call your next witness.”

Jack

“The state calls Alexis Jones.”

Sabryn

“Oh God here we go.”

Alexis struts in court wearing a big hat and big sunglasses walking in her stilettos. The court room chatter increases as the courtroom wonders what Alexis has to say. Sabryn puts her head down as she knows Alexis testimony will be very damaging to her case. As Alexis is being sworn in,

Karim

followed Miss Rue

walk in. Ladonna also walks in and holds Karim from behind. Alexis can see this is not very happy. She then sees Rufus and begins to sweat as she wonder if she will keep her end of the bargain, not to expose her to the court and Karim as being an accomplice in Ashley’s crimes.

Today could be the day Alexis’s loses it all.

TC Hotel

Ladonna takes the elevator up to Alexis’ pent house. She walks over to her suite door and slides a credit between the locks of the doors to gain access to her enemy’s luxury suite. Access granted. Ladonna slowly opens Alexis's doors and walk in closing the doors behind them. Ladonna begins to ram sack through Alexis’ drawers to maybe find Ashley’s diary. She comes upon a book in Alexis' nightstand. She opens it and sees it’s Ashley’s diary. Ladonna is so enthralled that she begins to read the entries. She comes upon the entry where Ashley talks about how Alexis helped her out in all her schemes.

“Bingo. I got you Alexis. I got the proof that you have been lying to Karim and in fact you helped his sister Mona destroy his family. Check mate. I win. Karim is mine.” Donna continues to read the diary to see if she can get any more info on Alexis.

Ladonna storms into Alexis's new office and slams the door so hard the glass walls shatters.

"You stupid Bitch! What the hell is your problem? You here to jump me again? Where's your side kick Ria? Go ahead Bitch I want you too because this time I'll press charges and throw your ass in jail."

Ladonna

"You would just love that wouldn't you? Well I won't give you the satisfaction. I am here to tell you that I will get Karim back. You don't deserve him. You don't even love him. This is just a game to you. You just want to win. That's all you want."

Alexis

"Your wrong. I love Karim with all my heart. We would have been happy and dram freeif it wasn't for you."

Ladonna

"I don't think so. He was bregining to see the real person you are. You're a lair and mygut tells me you are hiding something big. Something you don't want Karim to know. I bet if he knew your secret he would leave you."

Alexis

"Oh god here you go again with you're theories."

Ladonna

"Is that what you are going to call it? Well I got another one for you I bet anything that this baby you are claiming is Santino's. Not Karim's. You're only saying its Karim's so you can have Karim. So you can be the winner. You see I really love Karim from the depths of my soul, I have for many years. Through Ria, through you. You two didn't really love Karim like I do. Ria cheated on him and you are lying to him. I have done neither."

Alexis

"You're just some angel. Donna we all have secrets. What are your's? What if I dig some digging in your past? What would I find besides the fact that you are a depressed and hopeless secretary hoping to make the big time by falling in love with her boss. What did you do watch an episode of Dynasty?"

Ladonna

Lauren rings Karim's doorbell. Karim opens the door with abottle of Patron in his hand almost empty.

Laruen

"Not surprised to see you drunk, again!"

Karim

"What the hell you doing here?" She pushes past him into his house.

"You are really tripping barging into my home like this."

Lauren

"Well I would'nt have to if you come to you senses. My son belongs with his mother. "

Karim

"You are unfit to raise him. You were drinking while you were pregnant with my nephew.You faked you death while little Kevin should have been in a hospital getting care."

Laruen

"And what are you doing now? Drinking. That's what you have been doing the last few weeks,"

Karim

"You don't know anything about me Lauren."

Lauren

"Come on Karim. I know you. Your brother and I were best friend for many years."

Karim

"I didn't know you two had a one night stand."

Lauren

"What does that have to do anything? We were in some lonely places when that happened. I know you Karim. I know your family. Everyone except Mona. I know your mother,Abe. We all go back a long way. I tell you what I don't know. This person'you've become. This drinking, you're confrontational. You have a problem you need some help."'

Karim

"I need help!? Look at you! You gave birth to a child that has fetal alcohol syndrome.You're the one who needs help. Don't come in my house judging me. Who the fu(kdo you think you are? Maybe my mother was wrong at your funeral.

You're a drunken slut Lauren. From Daniel, to Chris to Kevin. Slut." Karim takes a swig of his bottle. Lauren is stung after the lowblow Karim just tossed out his mouth. Lauren decides to strike back, tired of being the nice one, wanting to be in control

She decides to take some low blows her self, as Alexis walksin on the scene

"Wow. Karim look at you. It's a good thing Kevin is not here to see you like this. He would be ashamed. In fact I bet he is rolling in his grave right now."

Karim is heart broken. Her words slice through him like a knife. He has a burning sensation in his stomach. The room begins to spin as Laurens words repeat over and over again in his mind. He regains focus and composure and looks into Laurens eyes with madness. Lauren notices the anger in Karim'seyes and is scared she may have taken thing to far. Karim takes his bottle of patron and bashes it against Laurens' head. Laruen collapses to the ground,knocked unconscious.

"Don't ever talk about my brother again Lauren. I will fu(king kill you. " Alexis is horrified. She screams.

"Karim, you killed my sister! She's been killed again!"

Daniel off bended knee and looks at a smiling Lauren.

Sharon "What in the hell is the matter with you? Are you drunk again? Isn't that how you lost your son in the first place?"

Lauren "Sharon you know nothing about me. Look at what you did to Kevin. You had an affair with Dondre."

Sharon

"You don't know what you're talking about." She says stepping in front of Lauren and getting in her face.

"I never cheated on Kevin and don't you ever throw him in my face ever again! Or next time you'll be getting some beer thrown on you. Bitch because you look thirsty.You really have no class you know that?"

Lauren

"First Kevin, his half brother Dondre, and even their sister Mona. Talk about no class. You look like the town slut." Sharon socks Lauren in the jaw. Lauren falls to the ground.

Daniel

"Lauren you really cross the line. I have never seen you act this way. Stay out of my way and out of our lives. I have moved on with Sharon. I love her now."

Lauren

"Daniel I love you. We belong together. We have been through so much together. YOU have put me through so much! You seem to forget all the pain you caused me. Working with Tyler doing drugs, stealing from me, hitting me."

Daniel

"I am not doing this here."

Lauren

"That's the kind of man you want now Sharon? An ex meth head who hits the woman he claims he loves."

Daniel

"I'm a different man now."

Lauren

"I love you Daniel, and I will not let you two be together. Too much has been taken from me and I will not lose any more. The good guys always finishes last."

Sharon

"You starting to sound like your sister Ashley."

Lauren

"I have been through too much to lose Daniel to you. I love him. If it wasn't for Daniel I would have never have known Ty in the first place. You did this to me Daniel. You set all this into motion."

Daniel, realizing Lauren is right, remembering the love they once shared, is a bit much for him at the moment. He grabs Sharon's hand and they walk out the Blue Note.

Lauren wipes tears from her eyes. She looks around and sees the patrons looking at the scene she just caused.

"I will not let Daniel be with Sharon and I will get my son back." She says leaving her restaurant.

Jasmine walks into Ria's house. Jasmine sees her sister sleep on the sofa with all the blinds closed. Jasmine takes it upon herself to open the blinds in Ria's apt. to let the sunlight come in. She hollers out Ria's name.

, slowly opening her eyes, voice raspy

"What areyou doing here?"

Jasmine "I'm here to get you together. Look at your house. It's mess!! When was the last time you cleaned up around here? What if Miss Patti came over and saw this?"

Ria

"I don't give no damn! First of all this is my damn house. If I don't want to clean my sh!t up then I am not going to. I pay the bills here. What the hell is the matter with you coming up in my house like this talking to me like you crazy? Bitch, don't get me started."

Jasmine smiles at her and walks over and gives her a hug. Ria returns the hug, feeling comfort in her sister's arms.

Ria

"Jazzy I am so sorry."

Jasmine

"It's ok. I am glad. It shows me I have not really lost you." They both pull back. Ria istrying to fight back tears and she turns away from Jasmine.

Jasmine

"It's ok.You don't have to hide it. I am here for you. Let it out."

Ria

"I hate you bitch." They both laugh and hug each other one more time as Ria goes to get cleaned up and Jasmine begins to clean up her sisters house.

On the outskirts of Pasadena, For the Birds Mental Rehabilitation CentreKarim approaches Nurse Maxine who is working the unit.

Karim "I'm here to see my mother."

Maxine "Of Course,she's in her room. We had to put another restraint on her so please don't bealarmed."

Karim

"SO I am to assume she was acting out again?"

Maxine

"Yes Mr.Williams. It was a serious episode."

Karim

"Do you think she will ever get better?"

Maxine

"I'm just a nurse here. I know she has a long road ahead of her. She's going to be in here for a while longer."

Karim

"Thank you Maxine." Maxine buzzes Karim back. Karim takes a deep breath, preparing himself to deal with his mothers outrageous antics. He walks in her room and sees her in a straight jacket rocking back and forth on the bed. He sits on the bed with her. She doesn't even acknowledge his presence. Karim thinks it's strange and he also think it's strange the way she is rocking back and forth on the bed, as he has never seen her do this. He has seen his mother do a many crazy things but his is a new low.

Karim

"Mother,are you ok?"

Sister Patterson keeps rocking, with a tear forming in her eye. He reaches out and touches her. She stops rocking and finally looks at her son.

Karim

"Are you ok?"

Sister Patterson "Why does it matter? No one will believe me any way. Every one thinks I'm crazy. And why do you even care? You hate me right?"

Karim

"Wow. I've never heard you make so much sense before. I guess this place is really doing you some good."

Sister Patterson,tears running down her face,

"I guess."

Karim

"I can tell something is wrong. Something is very off. You're not acting like yourself."

Sister Patterson stares into space and has a flashback of last night when an evil sprit appeared to her. She then also remembers seeing her dead husband, chain up and burned from his car accident.

"How'd you expect me to act? You thought I was going to put on a show huh?"

Karim

"I did."

Sister Patterson

"There's no reason. No one is going to help me. I am going to die and no one cares. In fact all of Pasadena will be happy. "

Karim

"Stop talking like that. No one is out to get you."

Sister Patterson

"I told you, you wouldn't believe me. So today is the last day I am using words. I have to defend myself and that's exactly what I plan to do. Then I will show all of yens that I was telling the truth because that's all I know how to do. I am Sister Patterson damn it!"

Karim

"Mother please don't start. We were doing good."

Sister Patterson

"You're working with devil. You're working against me. That's it! I've had it! Today is the last day I am using words. I will show you action. I will show you the truth. So no more. You won't hear another word out of me. But I do have to ask, why are you even here in the first place?"

Karim

"Well, Ithink you should know that-" Karim pauses and looks away. He stands up and begins to walk away from his mother not knowing how his mom is going to react to his news. He braces himself.

Sister Patterson

"Tell meboy! I got a battle I have to prepare. I don't have time for your mess."

Karim turns to her

"Lauren had Kevin's child!"

Sister Patterson

"A who and what now?"

Karim

"It seems Lauren and Kevin had a one night stand and she bore his child."

Sister Patterson

"The only Lauren I know is the slut that we buried. I spoke at her funeral service."

Karim

"Yes, that's her. Turns out she didn't die. She faked her death because "Ty" had a hit out on her. During that time she had Kevin's child."

Sister Patterson

"Oh God."She begins to rock back and forth again.

"Oh my God NO!" She has tears free flowing from her eyes

"My baby,..My son lives on. Oh my Kevin. Oh my God."

Karim

"Yes it's a blessing."

Sister Patterson

"Oh Karim you have to get me out of here. I must see my little Kevin. I am not going to let that slut raise Kevin's child. God give me strength to break out of this devilish jacket."

Karim

"Mom relax.I got things under control."

Sister Patterson

"And that means what boy?"

Karim

"I have petitioned the courts for sole custody of this child. I don't want Lauren raising him either. She's unfit. Mother the baby is sick. He has fetal alcohol syndrome."

Sister Patterson screams, then she cries once more.

"No my God no! Not my grand baby. How could you do this to me God? And you expect me tofight his upcoming battle for you. I think not. That poor baby. Lauren better be lucky the devil has me in here. Cause lord knows what I am going to do to her when I see that slut. Ill kill her with my bare hands."

Karim

"Mother,are you serious? What is going on? I thought you were a child of God. Isn't that what you are always preaching?"

Sister Patterson

"No more. I am done with that. I am done with God. God has let me down so many times. Now he wants me to fight this evil battle that has been brewing in this hospital. For what? I am tired. I give up the devil wins. Karim I can't fight any more if no one believes in me. I'm here because the state thinks I'm crazy. Maybe I am. Maybe what I saw last night was all in my head. I just know one thing. I renounce God!"

Karim is stunned and speechless. He stands up starring at his mother.

"What is this place doing to you? You're scarring me."

Sister Patterson

"Good, be scared. I am too. I don't know what's going to happen but Karim if you don't know anything else. Just know I love you son. I never meant to hurt anyone. And you tell Lauren, If I am blessed enough to make it out of here, I am going to kill her! Now leave me be my son. I have a lot to think about."

Karim is almost frozen in shock. He can't believe he is hearing these words come from his mother's so called holy mouth. In all the years he's been alive, the mighty Sister Patterson has always been about the lord. But no more. That has changed. Karim Leaves her room with a puzzled look on his face. He stops at the nurse station and looks at Maxine

Karim

"I don't know what you guys are doing to her or what drugs you are giving her, but I don't like it. She is talking crazy."

Maxine

"Oh honey I know. She was talking crazy last night." Karim just leaves alarmed over his mother latest antics.

"Something is not right." Karim bumps right his father, DC in the parking lot.

DC "Son, you look worried. Is it something about your mother?"

Karim

" I was fine until I saw you."

DC

"At least you're not drinking."

Karim

"Yet. Now get the hell out my way."

DC

"You're just going to drink your life away?"

Karim

"Go to hell DC!"

DC

"It's father to you son. Where's my damn respect?"

Karim

"With the last bucket of chicken you ate."

DC

"So you came here to see your mother. So that means you forgive her. You can forgive her but not me? That's dirty you know."

Karim

"Oh yea? Get over it Donald. Was it dirty when you cheated on your wife with your brother'swife, breaking up two happy homes in the process? Kiko told me about you being his father. What a shame. Kiko is a good man and for him to have you as a father. What a complete embarrassment."

DC punches Karim in the face.

Karim rubbing his jaw,

"Son of abitch! Don't you ever do that sh!t to me again you fu(king fat ass bastard ! We'll never be close! We will never have a relationship. So you can stop wasting your time. You are the enemy and that's how I'll always see you. I hope you die." Karim storms off.

DC

"You're going to be sorry son ! I told you I'm a boss. And you will respect me damn it. Wait until you see what I do next." DC walks into the hospital to see Lynn. DC approaches Nurse Maxine.

DC

"I'm here to see my wife."

"Uhm hmm, I thought I told you, you were on the no visitors list." She says pushing up her glasses and looking at him more intently.

DC

"See something you like miss lady?"

Maxine

"No Mr.Williams. I am doing my job and you seem to want to make that difficult for me."

DC

"Not at all. Why do you have such an attitude?"

Maxine

"There's no attitude here. I have a lot of work to do. And you are holding up with this non-sense.I told you the last time you came in here you were not allowed to see Lynn."

DC

"You must not got a man do you?"

Maxine

"Excuse me? If I weren't at work I would slap the taste out of your mouth. Where do you get off talking to me like that?"

DC

"I like your attitude. I love a sassy woman."

Maxine

"I'm about to go oops up side your head if you don't get out of here."

DC

"Check that list again. My son Kiko has granted me permissions to see Lynn."

Maxine, eyeballing DC

"Uhm hmm"She says checking the computer file.

"Well I see Kiko did change the list. You are now on it."

DC

"Thank you.Was that so hard?"

Maxine

"No it wasn't but you could have saved us all this ring a maroe by telling me from the start of this conversation that the list was changed or has been updated. I don't have time for non-sense Mr. Williams. Next time, I urge you to get to the damn point!"

DC

" I really am digging you miss lady. You haven't seen the last of me."

Maxine

"I don't see how that is possible when your (using air quotes) "wife" is in that room. Now be gone Mr. Williams."

DC enters the double doors as Nurse Maxine buzzes him back. He walks in Lynn's room. He sees her for the first time in over 25 years. He falls to his knees with tears in his eyes

DC

"Oh Lynn, what happened to you? How did you end up here?"

Lynn, who was in her rocking chair looking out the window looks at DC as he falls to the ground. She wipes a tear from her eye as it falls down her face.

Lynn

"Slut whore Bitch!"

DC

"Say what?"He gets closer to Lynn

Lynn

"You did this to me you bastard! Your affair with that SLUT WHORE BITCH PATTERSON!"

DC

"Lynn I am so sorry. I was a different man back than. I wasn't ready to be a father or a family man."

Lynn

"Then why did you have 3 kids with me?"

DC

"Three? What do you mean? We had two boys. Don Jr and Dondre."

Lynn

"Don Jr changed his name."

DC

"I know to some weird ass Kiko name .He thinks he's in China or something. A damn Kiko.What is a Kiko that's what I like to know. Where he got that I'll never know. "

Lynn

"We have adaughter too. I was pregnant when I first came in here. They took the baby from me."

DC

"Oh my god,I have even more kids out there. I got super sperm. Dondre, Mona, Kiko, Karim and Kevin. Now I have one more. This is unbelievable. I can't believe I never knew this. Women sure do like to keep things from me. Where is she?"

Lynn

"She's right here in Pasadena. "

DC

"Who is it?Who is our daughter? Do I already know her?"

Lynn

"You sure do! Our daughter is right here in Pasadena. She's been here the whole time."

DC is stunned. Who is DC and Lynn's missing daughter?

Well readers I want to announce some changes coming toSTEAM. A few weeks ago I announced that STEAM would get a spin off. It seemsnow that won’t be the case. Instead STEAM will be getting a fourth season.

Since STEAM is getting a fourth season it’s time to breathsome new life into Pasadena. We will be seeing some new casting additions overthe course of the rest of this season and into the next.

Joining STEAM is Boris Kudjoe,

will play the role of Marlin. Marlin arrives when hisstory involves Lauren. Marlon brings his girlfriend to town Katrina played by Tamala Jones.

Also joining the cast will be Megan Goode

who has aconnection with Marlon. Tiffany’s boyfriend will also join the cast played bythe under siege Chris Brown.

That’s all I can reveal for now with these new folks andtheir story. Like all other stories, I promise you this will be good. We’ll seethese four mix it up with the older folk of STEAM.

Rufus sits at her table looking at all the men of Pasadena having a good time at the bar tonight. She looks at Bryan, DC, Mike, and Santino to see if any one of them gives her an inclination that they might beher secret lover. She gets no such luck. She then sees Kiko walking over towards Karim by the bar. Rufus remembers the encounter with DC and Kiko theother day. She remembers DC saying something to the effect that Kiko gets down with men.

Rufus

"I'vealways heard he was gay and I have never seen him with another woman. Maybe itis him. He's so gorgeous with those seductive eyes, and he's loaded, he's a doctor. Could Kiko be my secret lover?"

Kiko orders a drink at the bar as he sits next to Karim.Kiko watches Karim drink his third beer.

Kiko

"Don't you think you've had enough of those?"

Karim

"And youare?"

Kiko

"Some one that cares."

Karim

"Look man,I don't know if you've noticed but I have no interest in men."

Kiko

"Never said I did. What makes you say something like that? Why does every think I am gay?"

Karim

"Look at you. You dress extra sweet. What straight man wears the things you wear? I'venever heard you with a woman either. Rumors about you being gay have been surrounding since you got to Pasadena. And not only that, look at how you approached me? You care about me? What man says that to another man?"

Rufus

"Ohh you can say it to me." Rufus says walking behind them.

Karim

"Excuse me?"

Rufus, looking at Kiko

"Is it you my love? Is it you hitting me up on adam4adam?"

Kiko

"I beg your pardon."

Rufus

"Come on sexy, I know it's you." She says caressing his cheek.

Kiko

"I am not gay. Plain and simple. Just because I m not shacked up like the rest of the men here doesn't mean I am gay. I have self-respect and class. I don't need a woman to validate who the hell I am. Unlike our father. Now I am not a violent man but I will beat that gay out of you if you don't get out my face." Rufus walks away with her head down.

Karim

"Who?"

Kiko

"DC. DC ismy dad too."

Karim

"Don is your dad. He's my dad too. So this means…"

Kiko

"Yes, weare half brothers. Don cheated on my mother Lynn with your mother, Sister Patterson."

Karim

"Oh my wow.We share the same loser for a father."

Kiko

"Indeed. So that's why I was concerned with you drinking. You have been drinking a lot. I am concerned considering that you have filed petition for Lauren's baby. He's my family too you know. All I see is you drinking. How can you raise your nephew if you're always drunken?"

Karim

"Look, just like I told your whack ass father, I am a grown ass man. I am my own man. I will do what I please in this life. You and Don can take this family thing and put it where the sun doesn't shine."

Kiko

"That'sreally rude. I did nothing to you in this mess! Why shut me out? I am a victim just like you."

Karim

"Ok victim,did your brother kill himself?"

"I am really sorry about that. But I did not cause that. I want a family. I never hadone growing up. We share the same blood. You are my half brother."

Karim

"I only have one brother and that was Kevin. Your father and my mother took him away from me. I will never forgive anyone related to DC. I have lost my best friend,my hero, and my mentor. Kevin was a good man and I am dealing with it the bestway I know how. SO If I want to drink then that's my business."

Kiko

"It becomes my business when my nephew is at the center of this."

Karim

"Look dude,Lauren's son is no family of yours. I want nothing to do with you. Don't interfere with this custody battle."

Kiko

"Or what? What are you going to do to me?"

Karim

"Ill find something."

Kiko

"Well since we are passing out threats here's one for you, you don't stop this drinking, I am going to take matters into my own hands."

Karim

"Where do you get off threatening me? Just like DC now you are too."

Kiko

"It's because DC sees the same thing I do. You're a drunk. You're drinking your lifeaway."

Karim suddenly sucker punches Kiko. The bar becomes silent.

Karim

"What's up pretty boy? I messed that pretty face up of yours."

Kiko wiping blood from his mouth charges Karim and they fal lonto a table, flipping over chairs and tables. Sharon is giving a client a manicure when she looks up out her shop window and sees a few white horses and a carriage pull up in front ofher shop. All the patrons gather round to see what is going on. Sharon step outside her shop and sees Daniel dressed in a tuxedo and a top hat approachher.

Sharon

Daniel,what is this?"

Daniel "I came to pick u the woman I love from work."

She smiles and hugs him. The crowd that has gathered around her begins to clap and cheer for the couple.

Sharon

"Let me lock up my shop." Sharon runs inside to grab her purse and locks up her shop.She meets back with Daniel and he helps her onto the carriage. They pull off asthe crowd claps at the scene of romance.

Sharon

"This is a nice surprise Daniel. I love you." They kiss.

Daniel

"I love you to Sharon. I wanted to show you that. We need this. We need some us time. We have been through so much I think we deserve some happiness."

Sharon

"I do too.This is so romantic" She says as they stroll through downtown.

He looks into her eyes. She looks into his.

"Is something wrong?"

Sharon sheds a tear. They kiss passionately as they arrive at their destination, The Blue Note. Daniel steps down out ofthe carriage and helps Sharon down as well. They walk into The Blue Note. Theysee the upscale bar is a mess from the fight that just took place between the Williams brothers.

"Wow this is not what I had in mind."

Sharon

"Maybe we should go over and see what's going?"

Daniel

"No.Tonight it's just about my lady and me. I have other plans. Let's grab a table over the pond." They walk into the other dining area that sits over a lit up pond. Sharon sees a table set u for them complete with Champagne and a dozen red roses. Sharon sits down and takes in the little live musical quartet that begins to play classical music.

"I am really impressed. You set all this up?"

"Of course."'

The sun sits high in the Pasadena Sky; Sabryn stands inside a courtroom with Lisa Ray at her side. Today is a long awaited day for her; it's her trial. Jack is on the prosecution side of the courtroom,and Sabryn is talking with Lisa at the defense table.

Sabryn

"Lisa, you have toget me out of this. I can't go to prison; not now."

Lisa

"I'll try my best,but it won't be easy. You shot Ashley seven times. But I got you out of this once and I can do it again."

Sabryn

"I hope so. Alexis is going to be out for blood but I can't let her stop me now."

Mike, coming up from behind and putting a hand on Sabryn's shoulder

"Hey."

Sabryn, turning around

"Mike, what are youdoing here??"

Mike, smiling

"I wanted to be here for you."

Sabryn

"You didn't have todo that."

Mike

"I couldn't just leave you hanging. You poured your heart out to me the other day and I understand; I want to be there for you."

Sabryn

"You're the chief ofpolice and this is Pasadena. Surely you have somewhere else to be."

Mike

"You need a friend,Sabryn. I'm going to be that friend."

Sabryn, smiling

"Thank you, Mike.You're one of the few I've had during my time in jail. I'm really grateful."

Mike

"How're you feeling?"

Sabryn

"Nervous but determined. I have to get out of jail; I know I killed a woman, but I have toget out of here as soon as possible. Natalia is taking over everything; shewants to destroy me and I'm not having it. She thinks she is going to raise myson, well she has another thing coming."

Alexis enters the courtroom, and she looks at Sabryn and scowls. She walks over to Jack.

Alexis

"Hello, I am Alexis Jones, the sister of Ashley. I sure hope you have a good plan to get Sabryn sent to the electric chair or prison for life today; I've waited long enough and my sister deserves justice. I refuse to let this woman walk the streets."

Jack

"Do not worry, Miss Jones; I'm a strong DA. I don't plan to let Sabryn get away with anything; she shot your sister seven times in front of the police. How can anyone get away with that?"

Alexis

"Mona kidnapped and killed and raped all sorts of people and all they did to her was send her to a mental hospital. That better not fly this time."

Alexis feels a hand on her shoulder, and she turns around to see Karim there.

Alexis

"Karim, baby, what're you doing here?"

Karim

"I want to be here to support you; I know we've had a lot of madness lately, and I still don't know what to think of all of this, but you're pregnant with my child and this trial won't be easy for you. I want to be here for you."

Alexis, touched

"Thank you so much,Karim. I love you and am so glad that we're back together."

LaDonna walks in, and sees the two together,

"Not for long,Alexis. I know you're hiding something and I won't let you get by with it this time."

Karim, turning to see LaDonna there

"Donna, what're you doing here?"

LaDonna

"I heard about this trial and I figured you'd be here. I had to come, Karim. I can't let Alexis sink her claws into you like this."

Karim sighs and leaves it be, deciding not to causemore havoc between Alexis and LaDonna today. Next, Bryan and Natalia arrive inside the courtroom, and Natalia smirks.

"Seems like a great day to watch Sabryn go to prison."

"Well I'm going to behis mother now; Sabryn's insulted you and mocked you since the day she went to jail. How can you defend her now?"

"Well if she gets out, you're screwed, so you better hope that she goes to prison today. Or maybe even get the death penalty."

Sabryn looks at both Alexis and Natalia. She then looks at Lisa.

"Lisa, Alexis and Natalia are both out to get me. They want to see me fall today; I can't let that happen."

Lisa

"All rise! Honorable Judge Hatchett presiding!"

Everyone stands, and Judge Hatchett enters the courtroom. She motions for everyone to sit, and she looks at the people there.

"Today we are gathered to deliver a verdict in the matter of People of Pasadena v. Sabryn Genet. Sabryn Genet is accused of murder in the first degree, after shooting Ashley Jones seven times, killing her. Miss Genet, how do you plead?"

Lisa

"My client pleads not guilty, your honor."

Alexis, to herself

"My ass. If I have my way, Sabryn will be fried by the end of the year."

Natalia

"Come on, judge, lock Sabryn up and throw away the key. Then I can take her family and her business for good. She's not stopping me this time."

"I'm getting released today,and then I'm going to take everything back that's rightfully mine."

Mikewalks up to Sabryn's jail cell.

"Bryan? Wow. I didn't think he would do something like that to you."

Sabryn

"So so. I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. I have so much on my mind."

"It really doesn't matter. History speaks for it self. She let a man rape her and beat up on her. Lauren has proven time and time again she can't take care of herself. Or let alone a child. My nephew at that. Ain't no way in hell I am going to let Lauren raise my nephew. You two better be lucky my mother is locked in a nut house. There is no telling what she will do when she finds out she has a grandchild by Kevin and it's mother is Lauren. I am not discussing this with you no more. I am going to get my nephew. So just stand back." He downs his coffee, grabs his laptop bag and suit case and leaves.

Alexis

"Just like that your going to walk out on me? We can't even talk about this?"

Karim ignores her and walks out the door.

"I can't let him do this to Lauren. She's my sister and I have to stick up for her." She grabs her purse and keys and heads out the door.

"I can't take much more of this. I am supposed to be happy. I got my man back, I am having his baby. It's like 99 problems."

Patti and Jasmine are sitting by Ria's side as she is still sleep from having tried to overdose on pills. Dr. Kiko Whitfield walks in the room.

Patti

"She will be for now. Test confirm she tried to overdose on sleeping pills."

"What's happened? " Her vision is blurry but begins to get clearer. She sees Kiko and her family.

Sister Patterson takes her reading glasses off and sits her bible on her night stand

She looks up to the ceiling to talk to God.

"Something is not right my Lord. I can feel a very evil presence here. Why are you doing this to me? I don't want to see the devil. Please lord I am scared." Patterson lays down on her bed and shuts her night light out. As Pat's eyes are closed, the lights in the facility begin to flicker once more.

In Lynn's Room

She is sitting in her bed with her knees to her chest watching the lights flicker on and off.

In Dottie's Room

The flickering lights awakens Dottie. She sits up and looks around. She walks into the hallway way and it is completely empty. But one thing she notices is that the hallway seems unending. The desk and wall the ended the hallway is no longer there.

Mona

In a deep voice Apple begins to chant

In Sister Patterson's room Sister Patterson wakes up in a sweat. She hears a demonic voice say

"Sister Patterson it's me. I am here. The battle begins. Evil is here." She gets up off the bed. She puts her glasses on.

"Devil, I hear you but you won't win. I am armed and dangerous. She grabs her bible and her holy water. She sprinkles some on her self. She slowly walks out into the hallway which is now full of smoke. She looks closely and sees a dark figure walks out from one of the rooms of the never ending hallway. It's Apple, with red eyes. Sister Patterson holds her cross up and tries to throw holy water on the demonic figure.

Apple

"You fool. Look behind you. I got a little surprise for you."

Sister Patterson slowly turn around and is horrified to see her Husband Abe, burnt up and scared with his body wrapped in chains. Sister Patterson lets out a scream.

"Abraham no! What has the devil down to you? Is this what they do to you in hell? Because that's where you should be. In hell for what you did to my daughter. WHY!!!? Why did you do it?" Sister Patterson collapses to the ground. She begins to hear a voice in her head that says

"You're going to die. Devil is going to win."

Sister Patterson hollers out

"HELP ME!! I'm losing my mind!!"

Apple laughs at Sister Patterson and walks in her room. Suddenly the lights come back on in the facility and she sees orderlies surrounding her. One immediately drugs her and the other puts a straight jacket on her and cart her off to her room.

"You have to listen to me. The devil is here! Didn't yens see the lights flickering? Evilness resides here and I have to stop it.

Nurse Maxine

"This sure is one crazy old lady" They put Sister pat in the room

Patterson

Maxine

"No devil tonight honey. We gave you a strong sedative. You'll be knocked out soon." Maxine shut the light out and walks out the room and locks it as Sister Patterson screams. She tries to wrestle out the straight jacket in the complete darkness of her room.

"Lord have mercy what just happened? Was it real what I saw/?Or was it a dream? My poor Abe." Sister Patterson keeps trying to wrestle out of the straight jacket. She then hears a demonic voice say

"It's no use. Patterson. I am here. I am real and you're going to die!!" Sister Patterson then sees a pair of red glowing evil eyes gleaming at her through the darkness
