For The Birds mental Rehabilitation Centre

Sister Patterson, who is not wearing a straight jacket, is in the common area with the rest of the patients in her wing. She sits by Dottie Hinkle who is sitting in a rocking chair rocking by herself looking out the window.

Sister Patterson

"Hey chile'"

Dottie

"Hello maam."

"I am Sister Patterson."

"Dottie Hinkle"

Patterson

"Do you know God?"

Dottie

"No I do not. God doesn't love me"

Sister

"Oh no Sister Dottie. My god loves all his chillrens. Well there are a few exceptions. He don't love that tranny ass queen Rufus. And that nasty slut Ria. But he loves you."

Dottie, shouting

"No he doesn't mother fu(ker!"

Sister

"I just told you I am Sister Patterson chile'. You don't ever in your forsaken life talk to me like that ever again." Sister Patterson slaps her. Dottie looks at the sister in horror."

Dottie

"I can't believe you just hit me."

Sister

"And I can't believe you said such vile words to me. What if Miss Jenkins heard you? What would she say about something like this?"

Dottie

"Miss Jenkins?"

Sister Patterson slaps Dottie again

"And another thing. Don't know one; ever ever talk about Miss Jenkins. Oh hear me and hear me now. You will know God. You will be a solider for the Lord. He has given me a third eye which has special powers."

Dottie

"A lot of people have special powers in here. I like special powers."

Sister Patterson

"I am the only one that will have special powers. The powers of good are what I have. Well we need to combine ours powers of good and beat the powers of evil. Evil is here my chile'. We have a battle on our hands. We must defeat the forces of evilness and darkness. I am recruiting my army of soldiers. You will be one of them. We are starting with a bible meeting tomorrow when we have community time. You better be there Sister Dottie. We must win this battle."

Dottie, standing up and grabbing Patterson's arm

"Shh, you hear that?" She says looking around with her big eyes

Sister Patterson

"No my chile'. Is the devil talking to you?"

Dottie

"She just said fu (k you to me!"

Sister Patterson is about to slap Dottie yet again but she is stopped when someone grabs her arm. She turns around sees it's DC. Sister Patterson then uses her free hand to then slap DC.

DC

"Don't you ever stop?"

Sister Patterson

"You keep your nasty sinful hands of me fatty."

Sister Patterson

"This is going to be a long stay for you in here girl. I told you years ago that something was wrong with you. Now the law believe so too. You are in here for good reason. You are a nutcase with all this Miss Jenkins and Solider for the lord stuff. Who talks like that? A madwoman."

Sister Patterson

"You're an ex pimp. A fat one at that. A fat pimp. And you have the nerve to talk to me like you are a haven of purity. All you do is eat chicken and have sex with woman."

DC

"You're not innocent yourself oh saintly one. I am sick and tired of this family disrespecting me. I had no idea you had three of my children, you never told me that. You lied about it for years. Now everyone hates me and for what? Because of your lies? I am trying to turn my life around and put this family back together."

Sister Patterson

"Family huh? What about you're two sons' with Lynn? You ran out on her. To be a pimp. What do you know about family and the values that come with it?"

DC

"About as much as you do. You did have an affair on your husband with his brother." Sister Patterson slaps DC again. Orderlies come over and sedate Sister Patterson.

Meanwhile DC hears a pounding from the set of doors He looks over and sees

Lynn is pounding furiously on the window of the door screaming

"I'm going to kill that slut whore Bitch." Orderlies also come over to her and sedate her.

DC

"Lynn? That looks just like Lynn. Ah naw lord it can't be." DC walks over to that side of the building to see if the woman he saw pounding at the door is indeed his wife, Lynn Whitfield.

Episode 131: For the Birds: Special Episode

DC is buzzed through the double door and walks over to the receptionist desk.

Nurse

"Can I help you?"

DC

"Can you tell me if that woman who was pounding at the door is a Lynn Whitfield?"

Nurse

"And you are?"

DC

"If that's Lynn I am her husband."

Nurse

"I'm not at liberty to disclose that kind of information with you." DC is frustrated. He has to know if the woman he saw was indeed his wife. He decides to walk over to Lynn's room real fast to see if its. He can hear her softly speaking

"I am going to kill that slut whore bitch! Sister Patterson is a dead woman."

DC

"Oh my God. Lynn!"

Lynn opens her eyes wide. She screams. The Orderlies orders DC to leave the room as security arrives and kick DC out of the building.

DC

"Is that how you treat an old man?" He begins to walk to his car and thinks to himself

"That was Lynn. What is she doing at the nuthouse and in Pasadena of all places?"

Jasmine walks into Sister Patterson room with a notepad. She sees the Sister rocking back and forth on the bed in her straight jacket.

Jasmine

"Miss Patterson, I'm Ms. Winters."

Patterson

"We are getting off on the wrong foot."

Jasmine

"Is that so?"

Patterson

"Most certainly. First of all and forever more, any time you address thy angel, thy warrior for God, and a solider for my God, you address me as Sister Patterson. Its Sister Patterson to you, you got that!? If I wasn't tied up like a zoo animal I would slap the hot mess out your mouth talking to me like this. You are speaking the words of the devil, this ain't no work of the Lord honey."

Jasmine

"Oh my. I will try to keep that in mind next time…..Sister Patterson.'

Sister Patterson

"Now that's more like it my chile. And if you know what's good for you, you will do what I ask as I only does what he asks. Now wait a damn minute. Did you say Winters? Yes I know who you are. You are the sister of that slut. The slut who cheated on my baby Karim. Ria, that nasty ass Bitch."

Jasmine

"I'm going to ask you respectfully to refrain from speaking about my sister. This is about you Sister Patterson."

Sister Patterson

"I calls it as I sees it. That's what you have to know about me. I only know how to speak the truth."

Jasmine

"Sister Patterson, do you think you have a mental problem?"

Sister Patterson

"I most certainly do not. The devil is out to get me. I will not allow that to happen. There is a war brewing in this hospital and you have to help me Jazzy."

Jasmine

"It's Ms. Winters."

Patterson

"I'll call you whatever the hell I want. I am Sister Patterson."

Jasmine

"You claim you are a child of God, I didn't think one would use the amount of profanity you're using."

Sister Patterson

"Get out of my way devil. Are you going to help me or not? If you are not going to help, then I have nothing to say to you."

Jasmine

"Do what? How do you want me to help you?"

Sister Patterson

"Stop the evil that is approaching. There is a very dark force in this place. I have to form my army. I need to get my troops ready for combat. We have a war to wage. Good vs. Evil. I will not be stopped. I will not be defeated. This devil made straight jacket won't hold me down. My God will give me the strength to break free to fight his battle."

Jasmine

"Wow. So you have all this worked out?"

Sister Patterson

"Just about. You see that's where you come in. I need my weapons of prayer and good. You have to get them for me chile."

Jasmine

"And those would consist of what?"

Sister Patterson

"I need you to get me the weapons of mass holiness. Holy waters, crosses, bibles, pens, paper, and bring my Sunday dress. "

Jasmine

"Pens, paper, and your Sunday dress?" She chuckles

"Ok Sister Patterson, I think this session is over. I will be back tomorrow."

Sister Patterson

"What you talking? Are you going to get my tools of mass holiness?"

Jasmine

"Good day Miss Patterson"

Sister Patterson lets out a growl.

"You're going to pay for this. You're probably just a slut like your nasty ass sister. I am Sister Patterson and no one will stop me damn it. Evil must and will be stopped."
