Members wingwalker
Look at that Toups: 9:00 PM EST CBS The Big Bang Theory - R 3.1/8 10.21 ABC Grey's Anatomy 2.9/8 8.85 FOX Touch 2.3/6 8.17 NBC The Office 2.2/6 4.39 CW Secret Circle - R 0.3/1 Imagine what TBBT would do if aired a NEW episode at 9pm est.I think it could pull 6s and 17-18 million viewers in this slot. I see CBS has Mike & Molly and Rules of Engagement repeats scheduled for 8pm next Friday. I'm guessing it's a matter of where, not if a comedy expansion airs next season. Administrator Toups Posted April 14, 2012 Author Administrator Share Posted April 14, 2012 Interesting that they're testing out comedies at 8pm on Friday. Maybe their drama pilots aren't as good so they're looking to expand their comedies (Thursdays 9-10 and Fridays 8-9)?

Members wingwalker
Maybe. I know most of their drama pilots didn't interest me and I'm a CBS fanboy. LOL I think it also has to do with comedy being "in", not just on CBS but most networks' the top rated scripted shows are sitcoms not dramas. If you then take into account syndication (http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/04/17/syndicated-tv-ratings-big-bang-theory-on-top-again-dr-phil-leads-talk-shows/129421/), CBS would be stupid not to expand their sitcom time or at least consider it. I'll be glad when all the network go back to having 2 nites of comedy again. I remember in the 90s, CBS, NBC, ABC all had at least 2 nites of sitcoms.
