Season 62!
I liked the way that the news of Lexie's death spread across the hospital. It was nice seeing everybody be there for each other, especially for Abe and Theo. Even Jackee Harry wasn't as grating and over the top as she usually is lol I'm actually a little surprised that Johnny and Chanel didn't choose Alexandra as the baby's first name, but Olivia Alexandra is a nice name too. And once again, James Reynolds and Tyler Joseph Andrews did a really good job. This whole Lexie storyline should not have happened, but they really were the best part of it.
And while I don't like Rolf and think that he finally needs to be sent packing, I guess he was necessary. With the way he was speaking today, hopefully that means that this back from the dead/miracle formulas crap is finally over. There's no need for it, and with the way other characters have gotten killed off and nobody batted an eye, it just makes the concept even more ridiculous. And I still can't believe that, during this whole Lexie storyline, we didn't get a scene of Marlena talking to someone about how Lexie was able to be brought back, yet the same couldn't be done for John. It just seems like a natural reaction for anyone, especially a grieving widow, to have under those circumstances.
And like I said in the spoiler thread, I would much rather Marlena had spent the entire episode getting to meet her great-granddaughter rather than be with Cat, but I'm glad that she eventually got to see her. As for Cat, they really need to pick up the pace with her storyline. I feel like she's been doing the same dance with EJ for months now. Honestly, Lexie's death should be the catalyst that helps move this storyline along somehow.
Btw, I know this is a nitpick, but Days really needs to tell the cast that it's, "chomping at the bit", not "champing" 😂😂
