There's no conflict in their relationship anymore, and they have THE rivalry of Y&R since basically the inception of the show. Enter Lily who's smarting from her discovery of Daniel's past and seeking to be more independent and apply her trade (making jewelry) at Jabot through the assistance of Coleen's young relative. OR Two words: Billy/Devon Billy can no longer bear kissing women since kissing his cousin and almost having sex with her, so he now turns to men.
