Please, somebody tell me that I'm not the only one who watched this show! It aired on Comedy Central and was absolutely hilarious. They've made a movie about it, which I'm completely excited about. The show was like a warped version of an after-school special on hallucinogens. I loved it! And I need to know that someone else out there shares my love of the show.

For anyone who doesn't recall what the show was about, I'll just recite Jerri's first introduction.

"Hello, I'm Jerri Blank, and I'm a 46-year-old high-school freshman. For thirty-two years, I was a teenage runaway. I was a boozer, a user, and a loser! My friends were dealers, cons, and 18-karat pimps. But now, I'm out of jail, picking up my life exactly where I left off -- back at high school, living at home, and discovering all sorts of things about my body. I'm finding out that though the faces have changed, the hassles are just the same."

Amy Sedaris is a comedic genius!

I love this exchange from the first episode...

Brother: Nobody's coming to your party, you plug. Color me outta here!

Jerri: Yeah, well sleep lightly, ya !@#$%^&*]!

Brother: You're lucky pop's here. Expect me when you least expect me.

Jerri: Stupid bloodfart!

Mother: Jerri!

Jerri: Well he is!

Anyway, basically, someone posted the entire first episode of the series on YouTube, and it brought back so many memories of how dirty and completely hilariously entertaining the show was. So, I wanted to share it with everyone...

Funny stuff!

HUGE FAN of this show! I have Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD. Every now & then, they'll air a four episode block early Mon AM (2 AM - 4 AM EST) or early Tues AM (2-4 AM EST). You all are also aware that there's a movie version due out in July or August, right?

Steven Colbert was on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, and he talked about the upcoming movie (which will first be released in New York City, and then nationwide) and showed a clip from the movie.
