Need To Know

  • Game Shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right” continued to display massive year-over-year growth among Total Viewers.

  • The four network soap operas were up or steady week-to-week among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.

  • “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” remains a standout across key categories.

uring the week of May 11-15, 2026, "Beyond the Gates" and "Let's Make a Deal" returned with five all-new episodes after both programs had been preempted for at least two days during the prior two weeks due to CBS Sports coverage of UEFA Champions League games.

"Beyond the Gates" marked a six-week high among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.27 rating), just below "General Hospital" in the former and ahead of its time slot competitor in the latter. Daytime's newest scripted series marked its tenth consecutive week of year-over-year growth among Total Viewers, averaging 1.605 million viewers, up +33,000, which also marked the show's 16th consecutive week with more than 1.6 million viewers, the show's longest streak on record. The series was up +0.01 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.17 rating) and up +0.03 among Women 25-54 (0.27 rating vs. 0.24 rating). Compared to the prior performance of the former time slot occupant, "The Talk," "Beyond the Gates" is up +67,000 viewers versus the talk show's 2024 performance, up +184,000 versus 2023, up +57,000 versus 2022, and up massively versus 2021 (+364,000).

Both half hours of "Let's Make a Deal" once again saw week-to-week and year-over-year gains among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, with the second half-hour up +0.02 and +0.03, respectively, in the former (0.26 rating) and up +0.03 and +0.07, respectively, in the latter (0.37 rating). The first half-hour was up +0.02 week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating) and up +0.03 and 0.06, respectively, among Women 25-54 (0.33 rating). Among Total Viewers, the second half-hour was up +530,000 viewers year-over-year (2.644 million vs. 2.114 million), while the first half-hour was up +23,000 week-to-week (2.256 million vs. 2.233 million) and up +440,000 year-over-year (2.256 million vs. 1.816 million).

Though down 104,000 viewers week-to-week, the largest across daytime broadcast, "General Hospital" maintained its week-ago averages among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.26 rating), and continued to see year-over-year gains among Total Viewers, up +107,000 (1.897 million vs. 1.790 million).

"The Bold and the Beautiful" maintained its position as the No. 2 soap among Women 18-49 (0.21 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.34 rating), up +0.01 week-to-week in both key demos, though still down from its performance in recent weeks, where it was a strong No. 1 among soaps, topping "The Young and the Restless." For the season, the series maintains its lead as the top soap among Women 18-49. Meanwhile, among Total Viewers, the soap was down a mere 1,000 viewers week-to-week (2.737 million vs. 2.738 million), while up +260,000 viewers year-over-year (2.737 million vs. 2.477 million). Compared with its performance two years earlier (2024), the half-hour soap was up by +370,000 viewers.

"The Young and the Restless" was up +0.01 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.25 rating vs. 0.24 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.42 rating vs. 0.41 rating), and was steady year-over-year in the latter demo (0.42 rating).
