Tyler Perry is a closeted, self-hating gay, who hides behind religious condemnation of other gays, rather than accept his own truths. There, I've said it. And I'm not taking it back.
A typical TP scene (again, from any of his shows, 30 minutes or one-hour):
A: "Get out of my house!"
B: "No!"
A: "I said, get out of my house!"
B: "And I said no!"
A: "Maybe you didn't hear me the first time: GET OUT. OF MY HOUSE."
B: "And you didn't hear ME the first time: NO. And might I add: HELL NO."
A: "Why can't you just get the hell out of my house?"
B: "Why can't you just accept that I said 'no'?"
A: "Dude! I said, get out of my house! Which part of 'get out of my house' do you not understand?"
And on and on it goes for what seems like 20 minutes, before somebody gives us a break by cutting to commercial. Even worse, the episode "ends" and they are STILL arguing over why B just won't get the [!@#$%^&*] out of A's house.
But, hey, all dem Jesus-lovin' grandmas out there eat that [!@#$%^&*] up with a spoon and ask for more, so who am I to judge, lol?
