Storrie is from Texas, but his Russian accent is perfect, and he plays it so butch and alpha it's amazing.

It's hockey smut but it's also so romantic it's unreal. There's lust and there's intense love and yearning, and the guys are beyond beautiful and sexy.

I know I sound dramatic and melodramatic, but this show is so moving and so "I want them together" that I can't explain.

And already liking Kip and his friend girl in Episode 3 which I've started to watch...cuz her and her 'GUURL.' Such a cute meet-cute between him and Scott though I can't place the actor for the life of me right now, but he looks sooooo familiar.

François Arnaud who plays Scott also played Sebastien Raine, David’s photographer ex-bf, on Schitt’s Creek.

Without giving anything away, Episode 5 of Heated Rivalry is up there with the best episodes of TV drama ever. Jacob Tierney the producer of the show is an absolute genius - the show is not just “smut”, but actual queer romance, and it has been adapted from the book so well.

I highly recommend two You Tube creators -- Empty Netters and What Chaos.

Both are hockey shows led by straight guys who discuss each episode. They are interesting, they are mature, they are evolved, and they are true allies. I find myself becoming emotional listening to them because it's how I want the world to be. These guys are beyond incredible.

Commenters on their pages are showing them so much love for their reviews and for being allies, and it's all so heartwarming. They're returning the love right back.

Yes, and I am utterly obsessed. It very quickly went from “I’ll put it on while I’m cooking just to see if I like it” to “okay let me pause it so I can watch later and give it my full attention” within the first ten minutes.

My ADD brain wants to word vomit so much all at once, but so many of you have already hit all the major points. What I will add is that as someone who needs things to make sense and for beats to play out naturally, I typically don’t invest very much into shows that want us to care so much so soon, but these people paced everything perfectly and sucked me in immediately. Plus Connor and Hudson?! Fire.
