Thanks Errol. I was crossing my fingers for BTG to have yet another increase week in a row. I was not lucky.

(YR) down in every category but up in Household numbers.

(BB) dropped in every category but remained the same in households.

(BTG) down in every category too, except households.

Tragic and yet production companies continue to keep employed head writers and eps who need to go on all the shows. GH might have a fighting chance with a new EP and the current head writing team, but the Y&R, B&B and BTG are in terrible shape with Y&R the worst. B&B is saved by overseas popularity and royalty and BTG is safe for one more year but 1.5 million viewers for a daily soap is not sustainable. MVJ and company really dropped the ball in the first 3 months after weeks and months of buzz.

BTG has seen consistent growth week after week after week... and this marks the first time in almost 2 months that they have seen a decline. I am not worried at all. If I see decline in the weeks ahead... maybe then I'll get worried. The show is in its best condition since the beginning writing-wise. And I say this as someone who, just a month ago, was ready to quit. They've turned the page and it’s PAYING OFF.

Although I am not watching the show anymore, I am interested to see what the new characters and story on Y&R will do for the ratings. Because all those ABC transplants and this club storyline seem right out of JFP’s tired old playbook. Which can be successful, but it’s a different time, and the show overall is not that strong. Or at least it wasn’t the last few times I tuned in recently.

It isn't.  re: overall show. I am planning on tuning in for the upcoming wedding so I've been using the show as background music. And the best I could say about Monday's episode is seeing a fine actor in his boxer in a dream sequence. Nothing else is going on that I care for.

But like I said in the normal thread, if it isn't wedding related, Jess Walton related, Josh Morrow's bubble butt, or just seeing some vets, I'm just not interested. And that last news/spoiler is just going to drive me away again.
