Simmons, 1985-1992

 

 

Gerry Gibson, who portrayed Shane's butler, SImmons, on "Days of Our Lives" for 50 episodes from 1985-1992 has passed away at the age of 90. After leaviing "Days", he appeared in four "Rockford Files" TV movies as Critch in the late 1990's. His final acting role was in a "Murder, She Wrote" TV movie in 2003. His death was announced in the most recent issue of the SAG-AFTRA memorial list.
