Since they've said Sami and Sidney are on their way, I wonder if there's any chance we'll see Sidney this time around?

The very last sentence of this April article by Stephanie Sloane says that Sami will be back for John's memorial, but gives no details as to when Sami arrives in Salem.

Don't think it's been announced yet when the memorial service airs.

I don't know if Sydney has been cast?

The character dialogue of recent episodes mentions that Chelsea is there to see Bo or at the hotel, etc. But she hasn't appeared onscreen yet... not sure when/if we would see her?  Rachel Melvin wasn't announced as one of the returns.
 

Week of June 2-6: Leann Hunley returns as Anna, per SOD.

Thurs. June 12: Thaao Penghlis returns as Tony, per his tweet.

Fri. June 20: Cary Christopher reappears as Thomas per his facebook.

• Bo standing up, in a bathrobe.
  with Hope, Shawn, Ciara, and Ciara's children all together.
  Looks like they are in a living room of a home or a hotel suite?
  EDIT:  It's the livingroom/lobby of the rehabilitation center where Bo is recovering.
  There is some grieving, looks like they heard about John.
  And some joy of Bo with his grandson.

I can't wait to see Will, Paul, and Andrew in scenes together in today's episode.

 

Will and Andrew have never had scenes together.

 

I'm also looking forward to the Carrie and Will scenes.

I guess tvinsider had it wrong.  

Tuesday May 27, Johnny spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sami and Sydney were trying to fly in from Sicily, but were stopped by a volcanic eruption because the ash had grounded all the planes.

Friday May 30, Will spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sami and Sydney found another flight and will be here soon.

Wednesday June 4, Will spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sydney fell and broke her arm and/or collarbone at the airport, and needs surgery.  It seems that Sami and Sydney aren't going to make it?

On June 3, the actors did a live video tribute to Drake (Link).
The memorial service airs week of June 9th.
They said please tune in to watch, and don't despair, as there are some (relatively) lighthearted moments coming.
