ARTICLE: Official ‘Beyond the Gates’ Website Launches

CBS and Paramount+ have launched the official websites for “Beyond the Gates,” the new daytime drama series premiering Monday, February 24.

Both websites will provide future opportunities for fans to watch full episodes of the daytime drama series when it premieres, including the five-part daytime special “Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood.”

On the CBS.com page, the website currently provides at least two recently released videos, including the historic start of production preview and the first trailer for the series. The page also provides a synopsis of the series, and a related shows section which includes daytime shows “The Bold and the Beautiful” “The Young and the Restless,” “The Price is Right,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and the new primetime drama, “Watson,” starring Morris Chestnut. The same content on CBS.com is also available through the CBS App.

At Paramount+ (paramountplus.com), the page provides all the same basic information as shown on CBS.com, however, it includes additional shows subscribers might like, including “Matlock,” “Elsbeth,” “The Equalizer,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Under the Dome,” and several other new and classic programming produced and/or distributed by Paramount Global Distribution, among other production studios. The same content available on the Paramount+ website is also available on the Paramount+ App.

“Beyond the Gates” is the first brand new soap opera set to debut on a broadcast network in more than 25 years, since the launch of “Passions” in 1999, and the first-ever one-hour Black-centric daytime drama series. The series premieres  Monday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. PT on CBS, and will be available to stream Live and On Demand on Paramount+*.

The series is developed and produced by the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture, led by Sheila Ducksworth, in partnership with P&G Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. 

Michele Val Jean is the creator, head writer, executive producer and showrunner alongside executive producers Sheila Ducksworth, Julie Carruthers, Robert Guza Jr., Leon W. Russell, Derrick Johnson, Kimberly Doebereiner and Anna Saalfeld.

In addition to its airing on CBS, “Beyond the Gates,” and its daytime special “Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood,” will be available to stream Live and On Demand on Paramount+, the official home to watch full episodes of popular soap operas, including “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless.”

Produced and distributed by CBS Media Ventures, “Entertainment Tonight” is co-hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner with Rachel Smith, Cassie DiLaura and Denny Directo as correspondents. *Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers will have access to stream Live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as On Demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream Live but will have access to On Demand the day after the special/series airs.
