I've been thinking about this lately, with all the advancements in AI and with all the advancements that are sure to come in the future, will we perhaps see recreations of older soaps from existing scripts? So many scripts are archived throughout America. Irna Philips, The Bells, Agnes Nixon, and a few others were kind enough to donate collections of their work which covers a great deal of work from the 50s through the 70s. Will fans take advantage of this to recreate things when the technology is available?

From a selfish point of view, I'd think this would certainly be interesting.

From a larger point of view of respect to everyone involved with making those shows... it shouldn't be done.

I don't think the people who make AI will ever have enough interest or care in vintage soaps to make so much effort.

I mean, AI is becoming easier and easier to use as it is. I'd assume if you have enough footage you could feed that to it to generate things. It wouldn't surprise me - legal issues aside - if Dark Shadows fans were to attempt to recreate that "missing" episode as they seem fanatic and nerdy enough to do it.
