Carter's declaration of love to Hope....geez, was that sappy and awful, compounded by that sappy and awful soundtrack.

We're supposed to believe this is some all-time love match for the ages, when it's more like cup-a-soup put in the microwave for a minute.

BOLD can also miss me with Ridge bemoaning the loss of his "best friend" who was "like family."  GMAB.

Hope has been the victim of one of the greatest character assassinations in soaps history. The last 2 seasons have been so bad for her... that only Annika's amazing ability and talent keeps people from not laughing out loud when Hope decides she's in love with a new guy every single week.

As fast and unnatural as this "great love affair" between Hope and Carter started... in the same speed and unnatural vibe... it will be finished, rinsed and forgotten by Bradley very soon. And that's one of the reasons Bold is completely unwatchable. Nothing sticks. Storylines move without logic and the consequences of everything can be nulled out in a few episodes as soon as Bradley decides.

This is not even Brooke territory. Yes, Brooke has been a mess, but somewhat organized, toxic mess that even in her hardcore i-made-a-mistake days, had some purpose and goal in mind. And Bradley at least knew what Brooke was. Hope is a ball of nothingness. A confused collage of past Brooke characteristics and echoes from early 2018 Annika - Hope.

And this sudden re-activation of the Carter character from 0 to 100... is just... Bradley Bell can't be any more obvious. This is just not how it's done. This should have been a storyline told in months and months of preparation and build up. Carter and Hope fell in love in like 2 seconds. We didn't even see any reason or a spark... as to why they did. It was just ANNOUNCED by the characters that they are suddenly crazy about each other.

Bradley Bell is seriously the most untalented writer in soap's history.

Once again you've nailed it far better than I could.

I loved your metaphor about cup-a-soup put in the microwave... it's exactly that. Cheap, fast, ridiculous and leaves you with a horrible after-taste after you consume it.

Coming into December...

So Brooke really threw her daughter under the bus?? Wooooow.

I can't believe that they gave Carter and Ridge a whole montage. Have they really been close friends that long? Alas...this whole thing with Hope has completely tainted Carter.

The stalker storyline continues. At least for me, it's intriguing.

And I have no idea what they plan to do with Luna given the corner they have written her into.

Don't worry, that's the standard place Bradley puts all of his characters. He will rewrite what we saw and tell us that it was her evil twin - Loona. Or that she had a brain tumor that affected her behavior... and she'll be back to damsel in distress just like that. Or he may try to continue this boring psychotic Orphan 3 shtick that he attempted with Bill, till she is pregnant and the baby ends up being Will's.

But... anything that is NOT Will and Electra, is... tolerable to me. 🤣

Lol. And knowing Brad, you are probably right.

He needs to surprise us all and make 2025 the greatest year of the show. And we all know what that means - kill off Liam. 🕯️

I LOVE that scene. Ronn Moss is all kinds of bad, all levels of bad. There's chewing the scenery and there's CHEWING THE SCENERY! Only Ronn Moss rose to that kind of do the damn thing!

Youngsters these days... don't know how to chew scenery like the OGs! ❤️

Agreed that Annika does really well with the awful stuff they write.
