Y&R: Former DAYS actor spotted at CBS Television Studios. New character?

Nathan Owens (ex-Cameron, DAYS) is at CBS Television Studios as of one-hour ago. Could he be joining Y&R as Damien, Nate's half-brother and Amy Lewis' son? A casting call, reported by SoapHub, called for a "Black male in his early to mid-40s" for a potential three-year contract who is "tall and handsome," and Owens fits the bill. He is 40 years old, and is 6' 2", per his Wilhelmina profile.

With this addition, and Melissa Ordway being bumped to recurring, I wonder if Bryton James has been taken off contract as well...or is slated to be.
