In addition to appearing as Chance Chancellor on CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actor Conner Floyd has signed on as the new spokesperson for YuVee, the all-new streaming app/streaming aggregator that helps people find, organize, and watch movies and TV shows. The service launched earlier this year.

As part of the company’s new marketing campaign, launched earlier this month, Floyd can be seen taking on the persona of “Bryan Reynolds,” a fictional action/comedy star who sounds eerily similar to a real-life actor currently appears as one-half of one of this summer’s biggest box office performers.

In a campaign video shared with Soap Opera Network, “Bryan” can be seen talking about his Canadian background and his leading role in the fictional “Cesspool” movie franchise. Sound familiar? “My athleticism and unparalleled flexibility has been integral to my success, or my “Successpool,” as I’d like to say. Now, since I am part Canadian, and Canadians are so nice, I would like to demonstrate some superhero fighting moves for you here now,” Bryan notes before over-exerting himself and instead choosing to explain what YuVee is all about.

“Maybe I can’t teach you how to beat supervillain bad guys, but I can teach you how to fight boredom with my new streaming app: YuVee,” he opens, adding, that the app helps “organize all your streaming content, search across all streaming services, get content recommendations, and you can earn rewards every time you watch. It’s fun, it’s free and it’s far less painful than doing your own stunts. So, next time you need to fight crime or boredom, whip out this bad boy.”

Explaining that YuVee is “like an airport for streaming” while speaking with Entrepreneur magazine, YuVee co-founder and CEO William Santor explained that the app isn’t a streaming service, but a place for users to get tailored AI recommendations for what to watch next as they are directed to the streamer that carries the title they are interested in.

Outside of YuVee, you can also catch Floyd weekdays on “The Young and the Restless.”
