OLDMolly looks surprisingly young in that photo lol.  I really didn't mind the first temp recast (sorry I already forgot her name).  KV has really impressed me lately though.  She's stepped up her game.

I know I have low key always defended HP because I really do hope she figures her ish out.  I sincerely can't imagine her playing current Molly and this story at all though.

The brunette did her no favours, but I'm pretty sure that headshot Soapcentral.com used was an older shot, too. And yes, I liked Mia Kriegel, too, and felt right when I was really beginning to feel like she understood Molly they recast. But, to me, Kristen Vaganos is now Molly and I'm so happy she's a series regular (and the first Molly to be). She emcompasses the younger side of the character from the years Haley Pullos was in the role, but also brings an adult-ness the role desperately needed.

I know I was one of the big detractors when they dumped Lexi and lost HP at a similar time, but I was wrong lol.  GH did a great job casting with KV and KM.  The story is stupid, but they are great in their roles.

Fortunately we do not have to concern our pretty little heads about it. NLG tried & if she couldn't get a commitment to hiring her back, then, it's safe to say she ain't coming back at least as long as current mgmt, is managing.

💯 I knew Kate Mansi would smash it as Kristina the moment it was announced, and I haven't been proven wrong. The Pullos/Molly situation and its timeframe was super unfortunate, but we've finally found a groove for the Davis sisters, and I am hoping and praying we get some Davis time soon for all four ladies!

I don't want to go down the HP road because I know you and I have varying opinions.  But I am glad they have found an actress that works and it would be difficult to imagine Haley playing Molly again at this point.

I was pretty sure Mansi would smash it too.  I just felt for Lexi after all the years.  I liked Mansi's Abigail and that's saying a lot because Abigail is a bit of a drip of a character, for lack of a better term lol.

Never have I ever seen such fabulous, amazing acting in support of such a poorly written story!

It's interesting to me that Kate Mansi didn't want to sign a contract at DAYS & just did so at GH. 

Arguably, though, Kristina is a much better character, not a better person mind you, but definitely a better character to play.

With everything we know about Days BTS I am not surprised Mansi jumped at a better offer.  From what I have heard from Mansi through the years, I don't think Abigail inspired her much.  Kristina seems to be a more interesting character for her to play.

Yeah, Mansi was clearly the right choice.  I just have a soft spot for Lexi.  I know she will forever look 15, but maybe she'll get jobs when she's 50 and still looks 15 😂

It just makes me sad to think how many years they wasted Lexi/Kristina and the minute Mansi comes in it's front burner all the time.

Totally agree about DAYS BTS especially back then, possibly less so today.
