I say this with sincerity: I never intended to be rude to you. I disagreed multiple times about Adam Huss and made a joke about wearing a crown. That's it.

As far as your English is concerned, I never considered it at all, which is a testament to your command of the language. If English is a 2nd language for you, you know one more language than most of us. I think your English is excellent.

I disagreed with you about an actor. None of that was meant to be personal.

Nope, nope, nope. Lexi would have looked like a little girl through all of this. Too young, too short, too small. Not in stature as much as emotional acting. Mansi is doing it, but they need to bring her beyond this crumbling to the ground in the cemetery Krissy.

I'm here for Kate. I'm still glad she stepped into this role

Judging by the first couple of days of Lucky being back, I'd rather have Nikolas (played by Adam Huss, the best actor to play the part since Tyler Christopher originated the role) back on the canvas.

Crazy that they sent a Cassadine to prison.  Makes no sense at all.  I don't even remember for what he went to prison for.

Sorry, carolineg, I mis-remembered that.

I still think it would have been nice if they'd given us one sentence re why Gio doesn't have an accent. (Gio seems to have a lack of self-awareness that he's lived a lot of his life in Brooklyn but doesn't have the accent.) But thinking more from a "big picture" perspective, it doesn't affect my overall mostly positive opinion of GH.

On one hand, I initially viewed this situation with Lois as another missed opportunity for an explanation of Gio's lack of a Brooklyn accent. (I was just waiting for Gio to say something like, "After I left Brooklyn, people kept telling me what a heavy accent I had. So I worked on losing it. But now, I'm a little sorry I did," or something else along those lines.) On the other hand, caroline and Contessa, you're both making a lot of sense. Lois isn't the right person to have this sort of storyline. And nobody else currently on GH is, so IMHO the writers might have done better to save this idea in their files for a possible future character with a strong accent. But even if they end up doing that, it should be an EXTREMELY  minor part of the show.

Yes, even though this didn't happen with my Brooklyn relatives, naturally taking on the accent in a person's environment isn't uncommon. Perhaps the fact that someone can naturally take on a local accent can explain Gio's apparent lack of self-awareness that he doesn't speak (as my Brooklyn-raised aunt once called it) Brooklynese. And with that, I'll sign off on my thoughts about accents.

Ric is such a great character to have back on canvas, his scenes confronting Alexis over her Kristina support bias did not disappoint. I liked how the writers had her own it unapologetically and allowed them to both get good digs in at each other.

Then we got Ric interrupting a really sweet moment with Carly and Elizabeth reminiscing about their past which was just excellent. The way him and Carly kept trading barbs while he tried making googly eyes with Liz was so good lol, all three actors did nice work there.

Ric becoming Heather’s new attorney was also a nice twist even though I still don’t care about her freedom crusade or Portia being the only one trying to put a stop to it.

Molly and Dex’s scenes were also pretty good, it was cool to see her able to vent to a non familial face and the play on his family backstory was kind of interesting. I was really glad Molly and Alexis had it out and were able to come to an understanding at the end, KV and NLG did excellent work once again.

Now what really surprised me was the Dante vs Tracy scenes. Tracy was right, Lulu absolutely lost a lot of her zest and spark after getting with Dante but him calling Tracy out for promising Luke and Laura to get Lulu the best care possible and ultimately failing was HARSH. The way Jane Elliott played the heartbreak on her face in that moment was devastating, great work from her and Dominic Z.

Laura and Nikolas scenes testing for the liver transplant and finding out he wouldn’t qualify as a donor were also pretty good. I think my issue with Adam Huss is he just lacks that moody prince vibe needed for the character but he and Genie Francis were solid overall.

Another good episode from this “new” regime so far.

I think Adam Huss is pretty good.  He's not Tyler and he never will be.  That is the ultimate portrayal of Nik even if we have to discount the years Tyler was phoning it in.

I don't think we really have enough data to say AH is right or wrong.  He's always been a temp so it's hard to judge how much material he can take on.

A minor note-Joss was pre-med and didn't know her kidney transplant would exclude her from being able to donate to Lulu?  Even I know that.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
