I'll say this much...I've been enjoying seeing so much Li. I'll take her anyway I can get her though there was so much wasted potential that went to other characters. And of course, she will say it's Sheila behind Tom and Hollis (le sigh)'s deaths. And of course, Steffy would jump on that. For that reason alone...it is clearly ISN'T Sheila. I like that Jack is still looped in, too, even if he's just in Li's phone for now.

 

You would think Hollis was a main character given how everyone is reacting to him. I mean...outside of Deacon and apparently Luna and of course Brooke and Taylor...did anyone really know him? I did love it was mentioned he was a ladies' man that always worked out so clearly drugged? lol.

BROOKE was HOT today. Woah, the OG Sex Goddess is back in full speed ahead! I looooved the scene in front of the mirror. And her saying to Ridge she feels like the young girl that met him. And that she is ready for a DARING future....

Bring it on.

God almighty, Heather Tom is borderline falling asleep in these pointless scenes they are giving her. Why does she even care about Bill? He was penetrating her sister while Katie was in a hospital suffering a heart attack. Leave that jerk to the imposter Poppy who is probably going to poison him too. But I hope she poisons Liam first.

Moving on to the Forrester Building. Steffy once again in other words told her husband she thinks he is stupid. And she is right.

"She will manipulate you..." She said to him... like he is not a 40 year old man, but some confused teenager. Sweety, if you have such brutally low opinion of your husband then... Pass him on. You will not regret it, I promise. Also, seeing how 99.9 percent of her marriage with Finn is talking about Sheila and 0.1 percent - sex... At this point Steffy should sent Sheila a thank you note for giving her something to talk about with her boring husband. If Sheila was not around then what would they even talk about? 

Then in the Design office Brooke was slut shaming Hope. All while having an inappropriate smile that was saying otherwise. Brooke was saying one thing to Hope, but her body language and smile were saying "if I was you Hope... I would be pregnant by Finn at this point"

But overall the episode was bearable. It had some LOL moments.

Steffy and Li...the duo I didn't know I needed. LOL!!! Watching them dig into Sheila was hilarious. And NM just gives good background reaction as Li as Steffy was going off on Sheila. 

 

Lord have mercy. Hope...SHUT UP. Watching her trying to justify trying to be just like her mother is just...NO.  All it's going to earn her is a slap from Steffy.

 

I did love that Hollis got a whole montage. Not that he should be dead.

      It definitely flowed beautifully. So much that I was annoyed when Vanessa/Doug because I wanted to get back to the party. I know it was intentional to build up tension and suspense. It worked. lol. I'm glad it was there in hingsight because it gave us that great conversation between Doug and Vanessa. Foreshadowing? And yesss!!! This episode was sooo old school soap giving beat after beat after beat leading up to the unveiling of Eva as Ted's daughter. And we still have plenty of fallout/aftereffects to work through.   Speaking of...Bill, Bill, Bill lol. Good to have confirmation HE was the scary lawyer.   I'm sure I will have a busy Monday, but I can't wait for it. I don't know what I'm looking forward to more. Probably Anita vs Silk Press Sheila tbh. And yes, I feel they will be matching each other 'blow for blow.'

      @AbcNbc247 maybe it is just that they've gone to that well too often, and I don't like when DAYS goes dark, but I'm OK with EJ abusing drugs, and just skipping the whole sobriety part. Side note: experiencing hallucinations of my son killing me would be enough for me to never want to take a pill again.

      Part of the reason that Courtney worked at OLTL was because the show had an actual character for her to play.  One that was somewhat different than her character on AW, and after the way she was treated over at AW.. it had to have been nice to be courted onto a new soap that actually valued your contributions.

      The show has finally figured out the correct scene to have at the end of the episode. The one thing I loved about the show today was that we got a pretty decent length scene of Silk Press Sheila at the celebration without any cutaways.  It reminded me of an old school soap opera scene that would run several moments (i.e. Renee's long speech going after the upstanding citizens of Salem on Days in 1983 before her murder).   I think Anita and Silk Press Sheila would be evenly matched.. she would be the one person that Anita would have to work to get the best of.    I do agree that Derek/Ashley were probably cut from the episode.. and maybe their scenes will be used in a different episode.  The scenes that were included (Bill/Hayley and Vanessa/Doug) had something to do with the scenes going on at the party.    Unpopular opinion:  I actually prefer Bill with Hayley.. .they make a good couple.
