Eric and Nicole are okay.  I don't mind them.  The unfortunate thing is nothing ever fundamentally changes when they break up and get back together.  Eric is always going to be too judge-y and Nicole is always going to screw up because she doesn't feel like she's good enough for Eric.  They don't change anything about their lives and just keep repeating the same mistakes over and over.   I honestly find them root able.  I just don't know why this time will be different than the other 100 times they got back together before.

You said a mouthful. That's idiom for saying everything that needs to be said & no more.

This is true about them. However, I still find them exciting.

That right there is the main fundamental problem with Ericole and that is one of the main reasons why I don't even like them anymore. Also Nicole and Eric look really bad leading on their other love interests into thinking that they're going to be with them for the long haul when that's not even the case.

To be fair, each of them intended to be with their just past partners for a long time, if not ever. And, neither of them did what was done to cause the break-up. No, that was entirely on Sloan & on EJ. If we're going to blame them for something, let's let it be something that actually was their fault!

Ironically, what I enjoyed about EJ and Nicole is that he always admired her cunning sensibility.  It is unfortunate that the current triangle is so skewed, because they would've been a fun team to counter Gabi and Stefan.

Nicole and Eric pattern is that  they constantly have cheated on the other people they have been involved with just how they both did Rafe and Jada dirty in the past and especially when Nicole harassed Jada when she was pregnant by Eric that is another reason why I have no sympathy for them currently dealing with EJ

I was one who did not see Nicole as harassing Jada. No, I thought she talked good sense to her. Obviously, that is not something we are terribly used to seeing.

We will have to disagree on that because it wasn't her business to talk to jada when she was pregnant by Eric

Never a problem to agree to disagree.

Obviously it was none of her business. Nonetheless she made good sense. IMO.

It wasn't her place to give a opinion about something that had  nothing to do with her at the time Jada was the one pregnant by Eric during that time and that all I am saying when it comes to that situation

I actually really like EJ/Nicole and think they are well matched.  I like Eric/Nicole as well, but EJ/Nicole just seem to fit better and accept one another's flaws.  I know Ericole are endgame and that's fine, but for once I would like them to discuss why they keep repeating the same silly mistakes.

I was okay with EJ & Nicole until he began lying to her. Then I was done with them. What you describe as a conversation between Eric & Nicole at this point in time would be excellent & also very soapy.

I really struggled with the fact that EJ and Nicole never dealt with the ugliness of their past. Their first two marriages were a disaster. They just kinda... got back together.

I also think it was insane to do a story about them getting remarried and having a child (ostensibly) without involving Sydney at all. Nicole being Sydney's stepmother should've been a HUGE thing.

I mean, I get that EJ lied to her, but Nicole lied a lot to EJ in the past about almost the exact same thing and wasn't very honest about her feelings for Eric.  I actually think Eric gave Sloan more than Nicole gave EJ.  I believed Eric did love Sloan.  Idk, I always knew Sloan was temporary, but EJ/Nicole have way more history and I expected more from them.

This is when the lack of Sami becomes a huge issue.  She and Sydney are sorely missing in this story.

Well, Sydney is one of the people missing from the canvas, who I believe really ought to be present.

Totally. This was a crazy story to do without Sami and Sydney! There's just an entire dimension of the whole thing completely absent.
