Have you ever wanted to hear the full-length version of music cues/scores played during scenes on a daytime soap opera? Well, for the first time ever, “The Bold and the Beautiful” is providing soap opera fans with the chance to hear music from the show that helps set the tone for episodes of the series.

On Tuesday, November 7, more than a dozen music cues were published to the show’s Official YouTube channel, including such titles as “Paulina’s Big Smile,” “Next Time Around,” “Connect the Dots,” “Fountain of Light,” “Anyone’s Guess,” “Beautiful Forrester Theme,” “White Light,” along with several number centric titles, such as “108-M,” a more soothing and slow-paced iteration of “The Bold and the Beautiful” theme song.

Most of the music cues published thus far are two or more minutes long, with the longest running time at a whopping 3 minutes, 29 seconds. That music cue, “1027,” appears to be used to set up a scene in which viewers will anticipate a shocking and thrilling twist. The shortest music cue is “108-HH,” a shortened iteration of the show’s theme played using a harp. It runs for just 34 seconds.

In announcing the release of the music cues, the show’s supervising producer, Casey Kasprzyk, said on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter), “This has been a dream of mine to make it easy for everyone to hear the various scores from #BoldandBeautiful.” He added, “I’m loving reading comments hearing what memories the music evokes.  These cues are literally the music of our lives!” In addition to his work on the daytime drama series, Kasprzyk also hosts “Bold Live! on most Fridays on YouTube.

In June 2022, “The Bold and the Beautiful” released an original scores album featuring 35 recognizable and moving theme songs featured on the show. The album, entitled “The Bold and the Beautiful (Music from the Series, Volume One)” was composed and scored by the show’s Emmy Award-winning composer John Nordstrom who joined the soap in that capacity in 2013. The album is available on Apple Music, Spotify and all other music streaming platforms.
