With “The Young and the Restless” entering its 50th season this month, the daytime drama series is sticking to its promise with the return of fan favorites. First up: Michael Graziadei, who portrayed Daniel Romalotti, Phyllis’ son (Michelle Stafford) off and on from 2004-2016.

Since departing the soap, the two-time Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actor (Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series) has gone on to star in such shows as “Good Girls Revolt,” and the Netflix drama “The Lincoln Lawyer.” The actor has also been featured in episodes of “Chicago P.D.,” “True Detective,” “Magnum P.I.” And “MacGyver,” to name a few.

Soap Opera Digest, which first reported the news, notes that Graziadei will be back in Genoa City sometime this fall. No further details were shared about the actor’s return at press time.

Assuming this is part of the Y&R50 short-term returns, which is good. Doubt MG would return to Y&R full-time.

Maybe he wants something more steady since he has 2 kids now.

But Lincoln Lawyer was approved for another season wasn't it? I can't see him passing on that, it was a good show.
