After winning a Daytime Emmy Award for his portrayal as Mike Corbin on “General Hospital,” actor Max Gail will next be seen in the Friday, April 1 episode of CBS’ “Magnum P.I.” The actor will portray Bob Braddock, a terminally ill veteran who bonds with Magnum (Jay Hernandez) while the investigator is volunteering at the No Veteran Dies Alone Program. Magnum hopes to reunite Bob with his estranged family.

Entitled “Remember Me Tomorrow,” the episode also finds Higgins (Perdita Weeks) in a complicated situation when 12-year-old Ella (Hala Finley) asks for help cracking a triple homicide that involves her mother.

Since exiting “General Hospital,” when the character died after battling Alzheimer’s in September 2020, Gail returned on multiple occasions as a ghost version of the character who’s appeared to his son, Sonny (Maurice Benard), and others during their time of need. Earlier this year, Gail also appeared in an episode of “Chicago Med.”

Gail took home the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Mike Corbin on “General Hospital” in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

“Magnum P.I.” airs Fridays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
