Is there any character on the show that can grab a thick biology textbook? Not so much take it and whack Sarah upside the face with it or anything, but go to the chapter where it goes over the layers of skin (e.g., hypodermis, dermis, epidermis) and the aging process. No, seriously. I don't know much about Renee. Perhaps she was nice. I dunno. Age-wise (and this is not an ageist comment), can't they just say something like: "Going over what we've just learned about the skin and the aging process, if you were actually Renée DuMonde, you would look like this ..."

And grab someone like Maggie. That's her mom, right? Would Maggie and Renée DuMonde be around the same age?

Secretly, I wish Tony was a pervert and braggin' about how he's tappin' dat ass like a genuine pimp dawg.

Corday gives all his HW's free reign.  It's a lot easier than actually running the show his parents entrusted him with.  Plus, it gives him more time to play golf and perform with his bar mitzvah band on weekends.

Sarenee is your classic Idiot Plot.  The minute anyone wises up, the story's over.

Hey, I can get down with silliness as much as the next queen.  But even silliness has to contain SOME interior logic.  There's no logic to Sarenee.  Or to Johnny Devil-or-Angel-I-Can't-Make-Up-My-Mind.  There's no logic to ANY thing that Ron writes for this show.  It's literally him and maybe Ryan Quan spitballing ideas like Michael and Elliot on "thirtysomething," except Michael and Elliot would eventually hit upon something that worked.

Clearly Sarenne is truly delusional if she thinks Xander is Alex.  Why is everyone letting her run around town?  Why hasn't anyone called Maggie?   There is a clear idea that she's a danger to people, most notably Anna, but she's staying in the mansion with her?  Let's say I buy all the stupidity about Sarah/Renee not realizing anyones ages, why aren't characters on the show taking this seriously?   Everyone is just shrugging their shoulders hoping she will snap out of it on her own.

I could write a better show than this and I am not a writer.  @FrenchBug82 said up thread this isn't a tribute to Renee/PS this is a tribute to Jamey thinking he's such a Days historian that he knows about Renee.  It's indulgent and silly.  I don't understand why they aren't using any flashbacks for this story either.

Plus Days should not being doing a Devil Possession and this Sarenee story at the same time.  It's too much even for Days.

    • Dani...and Eva??? And now Ted and Nicole are setting her up for success. These scenes are sooooo giving old school soap when the schemer is being set up for a fall...loving it.    YASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! He showed up with his FOINE self!!   Oh my Goodness! Kat is really on it today. Wait! Eva is the daughter of one of Leslie's friends who passed away. OH, REALLY? So that cover story might not be just a cover story then...   These Eva vs Silk Press Sheila scenes!!!    Awww...I guess no Vanessa, but at least she was mentioned.

    • Terrific ideas -- but would Mike and Nancy's great-grandson bear the last name Dallas?  Yuck.  Any way we could make him a Karr?    And in a similar vein, how could Bill and Martha's granddaughter bear the name Marceau?   I love the idea of continuing the Karr, Marceau, Hillyer, and Drake legacies, but if the new characters do not use the familiar last names, the effort to connect them to the past is rather fruitless.  Just my personal observation.
    • And they gave him a whole commercial and everything! Happy to see that star keeps growing.
    • But the REAL question...   ...May Sweeps...OR SLEEPS...???

    • It's doubly a shame because one thing Long excelled at was using backstory to enhance the present story. I think that's one reason why Josh and Reva took off the way they did--the early stuff is really good. (Unfortunately, they ruined it by overusing the characters). Imagine if Roger returned to get involved with Alex, and her brother and ex, who used to be dire enemies, came together to oppose him. Instead, Mike was nowhere to be seen and Alan was written out for years. Yes, casting would have been an issue, but when you think about what they wound up with for 15 years...
    • I've never been so annoyed to be running late. lol   EVERYONE looks so pretty.   Happy to see Andre and Eva interacting, Mona being there, and happy to see Nicole play matchmaker for Dani. Fingers crossed that FOINE doctor from Nicole's last event pops up.   @kalbir Andre looking like a snack in that tux.

      Lmao!!!!
    • Also gotta feel sorry for Mona, realizing today that she’s only known Leslie for a few months; she’s going to blame herself for all of this.
