It's trash writing by Carlaviti. The show can't even vault to #1 with reruns of the other soaps. It just shows what garbage Days is.

I feel like the writers are being forced to prop Ben so they write in a way that's so insulting it's blatantly obvious. I felt that way with Daniel too. Like they deliberately wrote it so awful.

I think I am more disappointed in the vet writers who are writing these horrible scripts like the Cullitons.

Agreed. I used to like Richard's scripts usually but I think they're both rebelling in a way, lol, at least that's how I'm choosing to look at it. I miss Melissa Salmons and Sheri Anderson. Hell, even Dena Higley's husband could write a decent script from what I recall.

 

Carolyn used to write a lot of Daniel/Rafe stuff and it always turned me off. I felt like she was either huge stans of them or she was rebelling in the writing. I feel like she could do better.

 

Ron's never had the strongest script writers and it seems that day to day continuity suffers. Maggie has one attitude one day and a day later under another writer she switches her attitude and everything's cool. Like ... do better, it's sloppy. Ron's writing has always been ... sloppy.
