18 Years of Soap Coverage and Discussion

Launched by two distinct individuals, one from Canada and the other from the United States long before Twitter and Facebook connected the world, today, October 8, marks the 18th anniversary of Soap Opera Network ("SON"), a haven for those passionate about the daytime genre, particularly its history and its future.

Since its launch, SON has covered several soap highs and soap lows. In spite of the cancellations of such genre defining dramas as "Sunset Beach," "Port Charles," "Passions," "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns," "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" throughout the years we've been online, the website has continued to evolve and thrive. While we've gone through staff changes in recent years, we remain passionate about where our future lies.

Thank you for following and sticking with us along on our journey. We hope to continue seeing you along the ride as we've got several great things coming your way soon.
