TV Guide online is reporting that Keith Hamilton Cobb has been approached by AMC.

REUNION FOR AMC'S NOAH AND JULIA?

For a dead character, All My Children's Noah Keefer sure spends a lot of time on the front burner. Ever since Sydney Penny returned as Noah's "widow," Julia, she has !@#$%^&*]ed and moaned about his off-screen mob murder, vowing vengeance and conveniently setting up nostalgic old clips from Keith Hamilton Cobb's 1994-96 stint as Noah. So is Cobb coming back?

Well, the popular soap brooder, who was let go by The Young and the Restless earlier this year, is out of work. Sources close to the situation say Cobb has been approached by AMC, but no actual deal has been struck. As for Cobb's camp, his rep coyly states: "I can neither confirm nor deny anything."

"Right now, our story is about Julia, and she believes Noah is dead," AMC head writer Megan McTavish recently told TVGuide.com. "You can argue that down the road, who knows? People tend not to stay dead on soap operas. I don’t know why that is!"

All this means that fans should keep their hopes for a Julia-Noah reunion alive. Because he just might be, after all…

This is definately good news! Something that'll make this Julia storyline more tolerable.

I know why Megan: BECAUSE YOU'RE A STUPID, UNIMAGINATIVE HACK!

It doesn't matter if Noah comes back. It doesn't matter if Dixie comes back. It doesn't matter if Dimitri, Leo, Bianca and Lena all came back. It doesn't matter if Amanda is fired or Greg or Anita or all the above. The problem with this show is the writing and network mandated vision. That is not going to change.

Remember when it was announced Julia was coming back and everyone thought it was a sign of change and everything would turn around? Didn't happen. General feeling is her return has been a big flop. If Noah comes back all that means is we still have a boring, badly written show...with one additional cast member.

I'd be happy to have him back, don't get me wrong. But it will only be worth the huge money he will cost (Keith, meet half of Julia Barr's salary) if Frons and McTavish are both fired or fall down a well.

Word. This show has some of the best talent on Daytime, but it's sinking, the writing is horrible and repetitive. It's not going to get better unless McTavish is fired. The day can't come soon enough for me.

If you hate Megan McTavish so much, why do have a banner that would not be possible w/o her?

Because I'm a fan of Bianca and Miranda.

Just because I love the two characters doesn't mean that I should be a fan of Megan McTavish and the way she writes this show. Miranda was one of the very few good things that came out of that awful rape storyline in 2003.

As a fan of Eden Riegel, I can appreciate her hard work, without always liking the storylines that were written for her. I am a fan of her work and a fan of the character, not a fan of the writer. Sue me.

And I never said I hated her, I'm just not a fan of her writing.

Oh, yes! This is fantastic news (if he comes back). Noah & Julia were one of my favorite couples from the ‘90s -- and I’ve come to the conclusion that Julia isn’t very interesting without Noah.
