Has anyone checked this out yet? I am finding it very interesting so far.

Franco is quite enjoyable in the role, it's well shot and produced, and certainly tense.

Episode 2 was very different than the pilot but still managed to hold my interest. Duhamel surprised me. At times his performance was unconvincing, but overall he was good and very scary.

Both episodes ended with great cliffhangers. Looking forward to the other six.

I'm giving it a shot when I clear a few other things out.

I read the book and liked it quite a bit; it was one of King's better post-2000 efforts, brisk and entertaining. Sure, there's a lot of Maine cliches, etc. but the story and the investigation/time travel methodology stuff is very solid - until the third act, where I feel it stops dead and ends just as [!@#$%^&*] begins to really hit the fan. All in all though, I found it a good read. I'm giving the mini a whirl. Thank God it's not yet another Mick Garris or Craig Baxley effort - King loves to give his books to those hacks.
