Members quartermainefan
I stumbled across this by accident and judging by the 14 views not many people have. Helena Cassadine herself once starred in SHOWBOAT playing Julie, the half white/half black tragic singer. I don't even understand how she got that part but I had to research to see if this was indeed the same Constance Towers and sure enough it is. She had a great voice. Members DRW50
She sang for quite a few years. She was on Ed Sullivan several times, and was the lead female in some small musical with Frankie Laine. Please register in order to view this content She once talked about how she sang "With A Song In My Heart" at Rory Calhoun's funeral (he played her father on Capitol), which was his favorite song. She said she could barely get through it.
