At the end of today's episode, "Days" fans saw three people waiting for Sami in the DiMera Mansion. The characters are named Bruce Greenblatt, Jennifer Evans and Bob Salke. The names are mixed-up versions of three real NBC executives: Bob Greenblatt is the chairman of NBC Entertainment; Jennifer Salke is the president of NBC Entertainment; and Bruce Evans is NBC's Senior Vice President. Pictured are the real trio. In the Salem version, these three characters will be the reason Sami leaves Salem.

So, are the 3 real execs lol-ing about all this?

Sounds like when Another World would do something similar. Carolyn & Richard, gorillas that figured into storylines in the 1980s and the last few eps also, were named for Carolyn & Richard Culliton who wrote for AW (and several other soaps) off/on. Samuel Radcliffe, whose name was used for an animal expert character called upon in the AW finale, was actually an AW head writer at one time.
