It felt more like a mid-season finale than an actual season finale but I liked it anyway. The vibe, atmosphere, and pacing of this show alone are good enough to keep be watching.

And thankfully, renewed for Season 3!

Just finished S1, and yes, very underwhelming.  Should have been an intense hunt, leading to a huge fight and then kill the vampire.  

 

Altho Eva Green did a spectacular job in Possession eppy, that couldn't end fast enough for me. Very tiresome.  

 

Josh Hartnett is so out of his acting league here. 

 

If Dorian Gray is the master, I will chit myself.  Seems as if everyone who sexes him up goes thru some sort of metamorphosis.  I would be hugely disappointed.  

 

S2 has started out beautifully!   Madam Kali is ultimate evil and I love her to pieces. The actress is a cut above. Also, great to see Patti Luptone!  

Rory Kinnear!!!!!!!!!  This man is just brilliant!

Penny Dreadful will not return for Season 4. Last night's episode was the last. Very spoilery if you haven't caught up.
