DAYS Becoming More Diverse?

You don't want a show to be more diverse just for the sake of it, because the non-Caucasian characters end up looking like tokens. But if you don't have ANY people of color, it's noticeable. Talk about a double-edged sword. :(

      Wonderful episode!!!!
    • I think we all dodged a bullet when Violet didn't get flown in to sing with the kids.
    • Just got home from work and chilling a bit before I dig into the new episode. I'm glad to read that Anita and Tracy had some good scenes and I can't wait to see TT finally get something to sink her teeth into.  She's far too talented and likable to continued being saddled with those weird monologues that even she can't make work all the time. The one thing I've noticed after about 60 episodes is that the show seems to rotate all the stories from week to week where they get A level attention.  So I have no doubt that Derek/Ashley will get less attention next week since they received B+ attention this week...and I guess Hayley finally is getting some attention though that means that energy vampire Dani will be seen

    • Oh! you're referring to the presence/strength that emanates from the actor. I was referring to the characterization.  Different things that can overlap. Okay. Yeah Keith has a softer presence than Maurice but they both compel me in different ways.   Perhaps we'll see Keith's presence stronger as he grows into the role.  At any rate, I personally found Keith compelling and wanted to watch him.
    • I am glad you brought this back up as it made me remember that the story was about Daran Kelly (Dan Kennicott). Sorry. I guess Dan didn't exactly set the world on fire either. I see that three actors played Wally, one of whom (Nigel Reed) would go on to play an even more thankless role on GL...no wonder he left the industry. Was his 1984 return for any reconciliation with Devon? They don't mention the reason on here.  Wally McFadden

Writing today's breakdown was tough because of what these characters and the show mean to me -  and to you. The cast and crew gave it everything. Honored to be part of it. More to come...

    • I’m not sure what any of this has to do with me saying the new guy has no commanding presence.

    • Frank made time for Franco (Franco!) and little Jake singing at the Nurses Ball, IIRC. Just as a point of comparison.
