Must be why they chose it if it's the most generic. If only Cruise of Deception could be revisited, but... after the Possession revisit, I'm all set on that crap. -
The EW spoiler article is on the May spoiler thread. (I'll quote the only non-spoiler thing) "Beginning Thursday, Beyond the Gates is set to plunge viewers into a three-episode arc" That arc airs Thurs. May 1, Fri. May 2, and Mon. May 5. Then BTG has two days off for soccer Tues. May 6 and Wed. May 7. Thankfully we'll have the three big episodes before that soccer break. It's the same set-up on May 6 & 7 as last week: BTG fully preempted on the soccer dates everywhere US and Canada. Y&R and B&B partially disrupted in some cities, but airing overnight, and/or on sister channels, and uploaded online without a preemption. And no disruption to Canada/Australia broadcasts of Y&R and B&B. -
It's a very easy concept to recreate with 3 new couples. It's seriously the most boring of the 3 specials, but generic enough to use a similar plot. I think you could use inspiration to tie it in with JJ/Gabi, Belle/EJ, and Shawn/Jada, but then it would have absolutely nothing to do with Stephanie so it would be odd she wrote it lol. Kayla and Shane weren't in One Stormy Night. Marcus was. This video contains the opening credits for the movie.Please register in order to view this content

I feel like it could go either way; either connected to the primetime special (which would be cute to get on Peacock for a limited run) or it'll have zero connection by anything but a name. -

I have a hard time imagining JPL with CJ. Their acting styles are so different. I actually think LG and JPL have more chemistry together and could see Phillip/Sarah. I know, I know. That's an awful idea lol.
