Good for her! Speed Zone is one of my favorite childhood movies, she and Shari Belafonte as hot computer geeks racing along in a high tech Ferrari.

They really tried to soften/domesticate her with Trevor and Timmy and the rape and all that. She was so much better as an icy Montana Morehead bitch complete with sympathetic neuroses. Melody Anderson may as well have been another character. She looked great in her business clothes but was too apple pie for Natalie.

ITA. I loved Kate Collins as Natalie because she was such a sophisticated, neurotic bitch. IMO, she made a great rival for Erica!

Melody Anderson felt like a different character entirely.

Why do you think KC was miscast as Natalie? I mean, the character was Initially written as an icy, adulterous gold-digger... and I think Kate pulled that off to perfection. I also have no trouble believing that Erica Kane would be incredibly jealous of an attractive, sophisticated, sexy woman (who was messing with her man), leading to a feud/rivalry.
