Members quartermainefan
This probably only will be of interest to a select few, but a treasure trove of home movies have surfaced documenting the Hollywood elite of 1965 in all their relaxed glory. It is silent, but you get a glimpse into what these A and B listers did in their off time, and who they did it with. And what they wore while doing it. <iframe width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1QienCIu_FQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> It looks to be Joan Collins opening up this clip in a brief cameo, but later on Natalie Wood is there mugging for the camera. A very pretty Juliet Mills is spotted at the end. Here you have an odd collection including Lauren Bacall a young Robert Wagner, and Natalie Schaeffer from Giliigan's Island of all people <iframe width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QEHyFxsG5pY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This one is Lauren again seen in deep conversation with Paul Newman <iframe width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2MsvJHwHHQg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> this one is a study in the handsomeness of Paul Newman, and Jane Fonda joins the crowd <iframe width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fSxhLS517ZE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> and this has Julie Andrews still managing to keep her Julie Andrews style even at the beach. And I love her car that is such a clunker it is chic. <iframe width="640" height="510" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rXWfgWVtYJ0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> By today's standards these people lived a life of poverty. That house is nothing to speak of compared to what various Kardashians must have today.
Members SFK
Oh my God, Jane Fonda was freakin HOT. She's reminding me of Donna Mills here. Ha, and is that Tammy Grimes?
Members SFK
Lauren Bacall and Jeanne Cooper kind of favored one another at one point in their thirties/forties.

Members alphanguy74
These are too fabulous for WORDS!! and yes, I love how they are living in houses that aren't pretentious and glamorous. That's why so many stars today go bankrupt and stuff... they spend everything they have on houses and bling, and don't save anything. And acting is such an up and down career, too! OMG, Sal Mineo. He's just a wet dream. and you know, Suzanne Pleshette looks like she'd be a RIOT to have at a party.
Members quartermainefan
Some of these people surprised me. I always think of Suzanne Pleshette as being this minor TV sitcom star and yet there she is in the in crowd with David Selznick, Judy Garland and Lauren Bacall. Roddy McDowell supposedly was the very center of the Hollywood social scene and knew everyone and was friends with everyone.
Members alphanguy74
Suzanne was fairly up and coming at that time... she had just played the aprt of the schoolteacher in "The Birds" and then the next year, she had the starring role in "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium".. one of my favorite movies, incidentally. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tsx__rv04yI
